I’ve mixed feelings about the book。On the one hand, it does what it sets out to do and I’ve no doubt that whoever implements the advice will get ahead at work。But that brings me to my reservation that the book fetishizes progress, status, money and career。I guess you can use the book to advance in a precise one-dimensional plane (career e。g。) but if you implement the book holistically, in order to achieve the sub-heading of “living a happier life”, I think you’ll be a miserable person grinding a I’ve mixed feelings about the book。On the one hand, it does what it sets out to do and I’ve no doubt that whoever implements the advice will get ahead at work。But that brings me to my reservation that the book fetishizes progress, status, money and career。I guess you can use the book to advance in a precise one-dimensional plane (career e。g。) but if you implement the book holistically, in order to achieve the sub-heading of “living a happier life”, I think you’ll be a miserable person grinding away for more possessions, money and status and you’ll wake up at 40 and wonder what you’ve done with your life。The book also makes it sound like being average and content with what you have a sin。 。。。more

You are who you think you are - believe in yourself and don’t let anyone make you doubt your ability to learn anything。 All known concepts, but useful reminders to apply them in different areas of life。 A bit too much of fake positivity and emphasis on appearances to give it full 5 stars。

If you want to be an entrepreneur I’d recommend it, but for other aspects of life it is just awful。 I can’t stand self help books, they tend to be written by people who aren’t expert researchers but rather by individuals who want to convince you of their biased point of view just because it worked for them

To think that this book is still relevant in today's world is amazing! I loved reading this book, and unlike fiction that I can finish in one sitting, it was refreshing to read something that actually could make your head explode if you read it too fast。。。There is a lot in this book that can help you go up in life and career。。。 There is this point made in one of the chapters about how an employee's support system must be evaluated before giving him the job and while on the job。。。Awesome book。。。 To think that this book is still relevant in today's world is amazing! I loved the writing style of this book。 Its way better than preaching lessons。 Must read。I remember I had written moral science examination just after reading this。 And my answers had all the stories from this book。 And I had scored 98/100 and lots and lots of appreciation from my Principal。

This book has changed my life。 It is not a classic self-help book。 It points out things we all do and makes you think how to change that thing。 But most importantly it makes you to take action。 Ideas without action are useless。 Reading this book once is not enough or active reading is required, make notes and apply them。
