I think poetry so one of the things that speaks to some people and doesn’t to others。 I’m glad I bought it， I’m glad I read it because it was highly recommended。 Some parts spoke to me more than others。 It was a nice， short read， and I really enjoyed the themes presented。 Some of the illustrations and poems are a little graphic。

Pretty good read Here’s two poems that stood out。 “you cannot leaveand have me tooi cannot exist intwo places at once- when you ask if we can still be friends”“we all move forward whenwe recognize how resilientand striking the womenaround us are”A few of of the poems from The healing read even read as Alejandro Jodorowsky poems。 People are quick to dismiss this book because of the format but， taken as a whole， as is， a four-part poem， it’s pretty solid。
