The first half of this book hit like a painfully obvious set of observations， thinking “maybe it’s generational？” with regard to the 50/50 or 80/20 marital model。 That said， I found the second half of this book to be extremely helpful and thought-provoking。 Worth the read， even if you skip the first 50%。

I think the authors were able to expertly identify and articulate the problem but I think they struggled a bit to do the same with the solution。 I just never was fully on board for the “if you do everything and are upset about it just change your perspective and your partner will change。” In reality， the over contributor is the one reading this book。 It goes way too easy on the under contributor。 Despite this complaint， there are nuggets of good advice and interesting thought experiments
