I've been a follower of the 2CC blog/fb for years now and have followed the boys success from travel/food blog to fb craziness to the first book's success to now the follow up sequel。Still full of loveable and funny quips and little insight into what must be hilarity and sauce (ooh er missus) in the Anderson household, these recipes are punctuated。 The recipes themselves are no faff, no fuss, quick and healthy low calorie meals。I particularly like the fast prep and fast cooking of these meals, m I've been a follower of the 2CC blog/fb for years now and have followed the boys success from travel/food blog to fb craziness to the first book's success to now the follow up sequel。Still full of loveable and funny quips and little insight into what must be hilarity and sauce (ooh er missus) in the Anderson household, these recipes are punctuated。 The recipes themselves are no faff, no fuss, quick and healthy low calorie meals。I particularly like the fast prep and fast cooking of these meals, my only small gripe is that most of them whilst under 500calories are not a 'meal' as such and will require something cooking to go with it, which will take it way up over 500 calories as the book claims。 Unless a chicken breast is enough for you。 In which case one breasts enough。 🤔😉However, my only problem with this book is that the calorie amounts per meal seem deliberately deceptive。 There are some meals that lo and behold come to 499 calories。。。 Hmm my suspicions are present。 When calculating myself using the exact ingredients, I am getting 640 and sometimes higher calorie counts。 Some of the meals are indeed under 500 - say at 499 but don't include the obvious side such as rice or pasta。 No good making a chilli at 499 without rice! Others include pasta, but the amounts of pasta have been tailored to make it fit bang on under 5p0 cals - some meals a portion is 65g, some it's lower etc。 It feels a bit deceptive and I'm glad I'm on the ball and logging everything myself into my fitness pal, or I'd be over without realising。 3 slightly chubby, slightly fancy, slightly pajamas on the couch with a sosig wonderrr - we never knew herrrrrr stars。 。。。more

Humerous, enjoyable read for a cookbook plus a good range of recipes for those trying to loose weight or not。 90 percent of the recipes were to my liking a few were not mainly to use of ingredients I don't like or can't eat due to alergic reactions。 Nothing overly fancy or haute cusine。 The character of the authors stands out these lads should be given their own tv show。 Humerous, enjoyable read for a cookbook plus a good range of recipes for those trying to loose weight or not。 90 percent of the recipes were to my liking a few were not mainly to use of ingredients I don't like or can't eat due to alergic reactions。 Nothing overly fancy or haute cusine。 The character of the authors stands out these lads should be given their own tv show。 。。。more
