It was really good! I liked how it was more noir than the normal my hero academia。 The art style was really nice too, it looked like a fusion between DC comics and typical manga styles。 That might just be because Pop Step gives off a lot of Harley Quin vibes。 But the villain seemed interesting, and my really like the character dynamic between the three main characters。

An interesting view on the world of MHA。 It makes sense that people who couldn’t become heroes for whatever reason, look out for ways to use their quirks in different ways。 We are outside of UA, so the lessons and perspectives of the “real world” are harsher。 I enjoyed the cameos from the proheroes。 And I look forward to seeing more of the new characters, but I still miss the kids。

For me it was a bit tough to come in the story, especially since I just read the original -My Hero Academia vol 1-。 The further the story, the more appreciation I got for the story and their characters。 Especially since they are all individuals filled with their own hopes, dreams and emotions。 I love how they all stand out against each other, and that they are not in any way the same。 The second volume is screaming after me in my bookshelf。 I might head over directly to grab it。

Since JBC started publishing this in portuguese, I decided to buy it and start rereading the whole series!!It has a nice start, but obviously it got way better later

Super underated, love this series so far。 On the the 2nd。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Trying out this series for more Aizawa content, which it looks like it will deliver。 However, the leads feel like bargain-basement Deku and All Might which is just leaving me missing the main MHA cast of characters so far。 Really hopeful that the story gets more interesting in future installments。

Great start to the best my hero academia spinoff

I borrowed this book from the library on impulse, and I didn't anticipate it very much, but it is better than expected! Was recommended this series by an old student of mine who loved the anime。 The only thing that kinda brings it down is that the story is nothing new, really, but reads like a classic YA/Fantasty book series。Nevertheless, I am excited to continue reading! Ok, como que no soy mucho de leer spin-off y cosas así pero sin lugar a dudas luego de empezar Boku No Hero Academia terminé encontrandome con esta pequeña joya, de momento amo la historia。 Necesito saber más sobre nuestros protagonistas。

I never expected the manga spin off to be so awesome 😎 I love it❤️

An enjoyable addition to “academia”This is an interesting take on the my hero academia world where the main characters act outside the law。I enjoyed it and will keep reading。 It expands on the world and on the drug “trigger”The main female character is in a very skimpy outfit and sexually harassed twice in volume 1。 This series seems to skew toward an older audience, so think twice before picking it up for younger readers。

3,5/5。 Entertaining! Lighter and more humoristic than the original My hero Academia, but nonetheless a fun ride。 I will look into volume two and decide if I want to continue or not after, might be a bit too easy going for me。。。 Not sure yet!

Koichi Haimawari is a good-natured college student who supports heroes by doing nice deeds around the city, however small。 Like Izuku, he's a fan of All Might。 Kazuho Haneyama is a self freelance Idol with a modest fan base who gives illegal live performances。 Knuckleduster is a quirkless middle-aged dude who becomes the master of Koichi forcefully。 All three of them team up to make society a better and safe place for everyone。 They fight for justice from the shadows and are called Vigilantes。"𝐍 Koichi Haimawari is a good-natured college student who supports heroes by doing nice deeds around the city, however small。 Like Izuku, he's a fan of All Might。 Kazuho Haneyama is a self freelance Idol with a modest fan base who gives illegal live performances。 Knuckleduster is a quirkless middle-aged dude who becomes the master of Koichi forcefully。 All three of them team up to make society a better and safe place for everyone。 They fight for justice from the shadows and are called Vigilantes。"𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝!"Vigilantes' concept is what would have happened if Izuku had never met All Might。 It's a spin-off series set in the world of MHA。 This volume explores mostly the powers of Marvel superheroes。 It's nowhere near MHA's level, but it's fun! 。。。more

An attempt at a more grounded story for this MY Hero Academia Spinoff。The art is great and compliments Furuhashi's designs and world very well。Even though the story is from Furuhashi themself, this seems disjointed and the characterisations and introductions of the vigilantes are a little rushed。There are quite a few slapstick jokes through this manga, but the lude jokes against women are somewhat off putting。 And something that is not as present in the main MHA (to what I have noticed)。 So I ho An attempt at a more grounded story for this MY Hero Academia Spinoff。The art is great and compliments Furuhashi's designs and world very well。Even though the story is from Furuhashi themself, this seems disjointed and the characterisations and introductions of the vigilantes are a little rushed。There are quite a few slapstick jokes through this manga, but the lude jokes against women are somewhat off putting。 And something that is not as present in the main MHA (to what I have noticed)。 So I hope that these kind things don't pop us as often as they have in the first volume。Anyway, there are quite a few story elements that are hinted at though the main MHA series that are to be explored in this series, so for the time being I shall continue reading。 。。。more

As a fan of superheroes and My Hero Academy, I've found this pretty cool! Let's say this is the other side of the coin of Boku No Hero's superheroes, maybe not a concept that would generate a hundred of volumes, but absolutely enjoyable and fun! Pretty slow to start (but I do plan to keep on reading the series while waiting for more chapters of the main MHA storyline to drop)。 It helped a bit when Eraser Head made an appearance, and again when Ingenium became a part of the storyline。 I'm not particularly fond of the main characters but I think The Crawler is growing on me。 (At the very least, I can relate to that whole awkward young person vibe)。 Knuckle Duster is becoming more complex, thank goodness (although he's pretty quiet and con Pretty slow to start (but I do plan to keep on reading the series while waiting for more chapters of the main MHA storyline to drop)。 It helped a bit when Eraser Head made an appearance, and again when Ingenium became a part of the storyline。 I'm not particularly fond of the main characters but I think The Crawler is growing on me。 (At the very least, I can relate to that whole awkward young person vibe)。 Knuckle Duster is becoming more complex, thank goodness (although he's pretty quiet and consequently the process is slow)。 I hope that Pop🌟Step gets more character development because hers seems pretty flat。 。。。more

3。5 starsWho doesn’t love the idea of vigilantes? They don't rely on big organisations, but work secretly behind the scenes to make the world a better place, for no reward and at much greater personal risk。In Chapter One, we’re introduced to college student Koichi。 In his spare time, he picks up trash, gives directions to the lost, and takes those coveted group photos, in costume of choice: his All Might hoodie。 Later, Koichi has a run-in with some villains, and it becomes quickly apparent that 3。5 starsWho doesn’t love the idea of vigilantes? I discovered this manga late but。。。 It conserves the magic of the original one! One of my favourites spin-offd

I really enjoyed this spin off and how it expands on how the world works。

Was a very fast and fun read。 I didn’t expect I’d like a spin ofc series so much。 My only complaint is Pop Step’s costume: she’s in high school — no reason to show her ass。 😑Why 4 stars: Pop Step’s costume。

I purchased this for my daughter and decided to read it as well。 I am not sure if my review is even valid given the fact that I am an outsider to the anime world, but I did enjoy reading it, and so did my daughter。
