I actually think this is a solid book。 I hadn’t realized that she had issues with gluten, which means the entire book isn’t filled with gluten containing foods。 Her philosophy on eating was great to read, ideas we could all embrace。 The food sounded amazing but most of it is not something I’d have the time to cook。 I did find it odd that it includes lunch recipes。 I mean, who has time to make unique lunches every day on top of the breakfast and dinner recipes? 😉

Another great cookbook from GiadaJust like the title says all of this is Feel Good food。 Tons of recipes that are hearty yet healthy especially for the mom on the go。 I love how she includes beauty regimens as well

I am a big Giada fan。 I don't understand why so many women talk so negatively about her, maybe because she's beautiful and they are jealous? If she were unattractive would it be ok for her to dress like a normal woman? This isn't my favorite of Giada's cookbooks in general but it does have some of my favorite recipes。 The Kale Mushroom wrap in particular is awesome! I love her writing, her health and beauty tips, and many of the recipes are just really good。 There are some that require special ingredients or equipment like juicers or chia seeds or expensive seafood, but most are accessible and easy to make。 I like her philosophy that healthy food should include all food groups and taste just as good。 Also, the This isn't my favorite of Giada's cookbooks in general but it does have some of my favorite recipes。 The Kale Mushroom wrap in particular is awesome! Not everyone will enjoy this cookbook as much as I do, but it really strikes the right chord with me at this time in my life。 I love to cook and bake, and am equally interested in healthy living and eating。 I had fallen into a bit of a rut, making the same healthy but plain food over and over, and this book has shaken me out of it with new recipes and ideas。 In the two months since I bought the book, several recipes have become regulars in my rotation。 I've lost count of how many times I've made Not everyone will enjoy this cookbook as much as I do, but it really strikes the right chord with me at this time in my life。 I love to cook and bake, and am equally interested in healthy living and eating。 I had fallen into a bit of a rut, making the same healthy but plain food over and over, and this book has shaken me out of it with new recipes and ideas。 In the two months since I bought the book, several recipes have become regulars in my rotation。 I've lost count of how many times I've made the Turkey, Kale and Brown Rice Soup (I can see why Giada says she lives on this soup in the wintertime!) and the Spiced Pumpkin-Raisin Cookies。 I've also made all the muffin recipes, the oatmeal variations, and the Quinoa with Black Beans and Hominy。 The recipes use seasonings brilliantly to provide plenty of flavor without relying heavily on fat, sugar and salt。 A bonus for me is that some (not all) of the baking recipes are gluten-free; I haven't been able to eat gluten for six years, and it's nice to be able to follow the recipes as written and not have to substitute ingredients。I appreciate Giada's expertise and enjoy watching her shows on TV, but I didn't buy this book to learn how I could be and look just like her, as the jacket copy and intro seem to assume。 I did enjoy the little lifestyle tips scattered through the book, though, and didn't find them intrusive。 。。。more

A Christmas gift from a dear friend, this cookbook turned out to be amazing。 I loved the recipes, and I loved all the added detail pieces added to the beginning of each chapter, too。 I got so many ideas for things to make as well as thoughtful advice/inspiration on everything from morning routines to how to pack when traveling。 Definitely recommended!
