1:35 AM - 3。5/5 Really cool and creepy atmosphere。 Kind of annoying how the rest of the characters present seemed to never believe or even help someone who was clearly going through some heavy shit? Like yes just tell your friend, your best friend might I add, is obviously going through some creepy experience or is at least convinced that she is, instead of getting her professional help or supporting her, just write it off because you think she's being crazy。 Yeah that makes sense。 It again, pissed me off with how the story wraps up in a way that leaves things to the imagination。 I want that gory, unnecessarily drawn out horrifying ending that makes me so uncomfortable I want to bleach my eyeballs。 But ya know, did enjoy this one。Room for One More - 3/5 Really loved bits of this and really didn't like others。 I like a supernatural (?) element but sometimes having stuff thrown in there for the sake of creepy nightmares which make reference to animatronics we know and love, was something I didn't know how to place in the story。 It kind of didn't feel like it had to be there and didn't make sense for it to be there anyway? The discovery at the end of the story definitely works to make the skin crawl, and the amount of times you think the main character should be able to get away but doesn't does make the head hurt。The New Kid - 3/5 Another short story with the problem of being too vague as to not to give too much away。 Main character is odd in a sort of Dr Jekyl, Mr Hyde way whenever the story needs him to be。 Best friend Mick is cute as hell though so that helps。 Also really happy with how frank it was with the more gory and creepy scenes。 Part of me though, wants to see it when all of these dead children are found and how those around them react to that。 Or how the severely traumatised children just like keep going? Overall averaging out to a 3。5/5。 。。。more

there were three stories in this book i think people who like horror stories would like this the most because 1:35 am i thought was the scariest cause who would want to spend eternity with the Ella doll that tries to kill you。 Then "room for one more" wasn't scary at all。 "new kid" thought it was normal for life。 there were three stories in this book i think people who like horror stories would like this the most because 1:35 am i thought was the scariest cause who would want to spend eternity with the Ella doll that tries to kill you。 Then "room for one more" wasn't scary at all。 "new kid" thought it was normal for life。 。。。more

I really liked the first story because the doll named Ella looked exactly like Deliah's future kid she was hoping to have with her ex。 Also, according to the ¨Silver Eyes¨ the doll was made for Charlie by her father Henry。 Ella only had her Alarm clock that worked out of all the functions she could do。 I think it's kinda sad that Ella had to get thrown out。 The last story called ¨The New Kid¨ was very sad because, the new kid named Kelsey started to make friends immediately as soon as he joined I really liked the first story because the doll named Ella looked exactly like Deliah's future kid she was hoping to have with her ex。 Also, according to the ¨Silver Eyes¨ the doll was made for Charlie by her father Henry。 Ella only had her Alarm clock that worked out of all the functions she could do。 I think it's kinda sad that Ella had to get thrown out。 The last story called ¨The New Kid¨ was very sad because, the new kid named Kelsey started to make friends immediately as soon as he joined the school, but first he made friends with the two outcasts, Devon and Mick。 Later Kelsey promises the two he will let them use an empty room at his farmhouse for their hangout, however, Heather talks him into letting her group of friends come along too。 When Devon and Mick are left behind due to lack of room, (even though Kelsey promised he will come back to get them) Devon sees Kelsey taking Heather as betrayal and storms off with Mick。 Devon then finds an abandoned Freddy Fazbear Pizzaria along with a bunch of animatronics and suits。 When Devon tells Kelsey he found a hangout, he then leads him and Mick to the Pizzaria and finds the empty animatronic suit that might either be Fredbear or Golden Freddy, (I am not certain) Devon tells Kelsey to get inside, and he does。 He then tells Mick and Devon that he doesn't know how to get up but he can wiggle his arms in the air and do a little dance。 But unfortunately, the spring locks come loose (I am starting to think that it is Fredbear now) and Kelsey gets his insides ripped apart as the suit forces the metal from the animatronic into Kelsey´s body。 Devon didn´t want this to happen, he just wanted revenge for Kelsey hanging out with Heather! As Kelsey screams bloody murder, Devon is in shock, and Mick is crying。 Later Devon sees if Kelsey is still alive he sticks his arm and wiggles around to find Kelsey's body, but then。。。。。*Snap!* a spring lock comes loose and Devon's arm is trapped in the suit, and he's stuck there until he bleeds to death。 In the second story, Stanley has a new job at Sisters location, and every night he would see a minireena and when he fell asleep it would disappear, and his limbs will get numb and he would have a sore throat, this would happen every night he went to work。 Later into the book, he found out that every minireena he has seen has gone inside of him! Now that's just。。。。。ew, but anyway I really liked this book and am in the last story of the 4th book! Can´t wait to review that one! 。。。more

This is not the best batch of stories, maybe running out of ideas already。 The first stories' protagionists are twenty-somethings, newly single and not ready to mingle。The first one is about a woman who finds a babydoll that looks exactly like her fantasy baby。 I wonder if was darker than that but they decided not to go there besides the gruesome endings that appear in this series。The third story has two kids said to have learning disabilities but they also use the s-slur and are questionable。 B This is not the best batch of stories, maybe running out of ideas already。 The first stories' protagionists are twenty-somethings, newly single and not ready to mingle。The first one is about a woman who finds a babydoll that looks exactly like her fantasy baby。 I wonder if was darker than that but they decided not to go there besides the gruesome endings that appear in this series。The third story has two kids said to have learning disabilities but they also use the s-slur and are questionable。 But have no specific labels so it was always going to be bad rep。 The audiobooks are abridged and they are slurs, so yes this book is ableist。 Both easy fixes so besides that okay。The life lesson is go to the doctor, though mine has never seemed that alarmed by my numb limbs。 。。。more

Oh man。。。 Whatever book #2 lacked, this one made up for it。The title story ("1:35AM") is such a great example of psychological horror。 I was impressed to not have a child-focused story for once in the Fazbear Frights series, and this was such a breath of fresh air。 The ending still gives me chills to think about!"Room for One More" has forever ruined [spoiler-free-version: what ends up being the problem in the story] for me。 Stanley's life will tug at your heart strings and you'll hope everythin Oh man。。。 Whatever book #2 lacked, this one made up for it。The title story ("1:35AM") is such a great example of psychological horror。 I was impressed to not have a child-focused story for once in the Fazbear Frights series, and this was such a breath of fresh air。 The ending still gives me chills to think about!"Room for One More" has forever ruined [spoiler-free-version: what ends up being the problem in the story] for me。 Stanley's life will tug at your heart strings and you'll hope everything works out for him somehow。 I wish I could just pluck him out of the story and take him home with me, but alas, nothing ever goes well in the Fazbear universe and I can't reach inside of a book。 One of the most annoying but seemingly harmless animatronics in the series will forever become horrifying after you read this though。 I didn't mind them for years after the game they were featured in, but now? No thank you。 You can keep those little creepers a thousand miles away from me。 (Note: If you're nitpicky and try to figure out realistic explanations for how certain physical aspects in the story work, you're going to get terribly irritated。 It doesn't make sense to me either, but the story is so good that you probably won't even care。)"The New Kid" isn't bad, by any means, but wasn't something that appealed to me。 For those interested in lore and Golden Freddy, this one will probably be more up your alley。 。。。more

Really enjoyed this book! Even as an adult I greatly enjoyed it! My son plays the games all the time and he got all the books for Christmas。 Since he talks about them all the time I decided to give them a try and I am not at all sorry that I did! This series is not just for kids! Adults could enjoy it as well。My son has a youtube playlist of all the songs that go along with these stories and he loves reading them while listening to the song that goes with it!

The third installment in this series, I feel like, is finding some decent footing。 This book features a woman whose life is falling apart being hounded by a toy and her own past, a night guard who probably should have asked more questions before accepting his job and a kid whose jealousy and skewed worldview are setting him up for failure。 If there's one thing these stories do pretty well, its painting character with large, glaring flaws -- whether or not they see those flaws themselves。 Many of The third installment in this series, I feel like, is finding some decent footing。 This book features a woman whose life is falling apart being hounded by a toy and her own past, a night guard who probably should have asked more questions before accepting his job and a kid whose jealousy and skewed worldview are setting him up for failure。 If there's one thing these stories do pretty well, its painting character with large, glaring flaws -- whether or not they see those flaws themselves。 Many of the characters in the series have in some way brought about their own trouble, and acting in a different way would have avoided the whole thing entirely -- yet you can see why they made the decisions they made, as well。Another pretty good entry。 I think it's maybe a little above the previous entries for me。 。。。more

I love the premise and the stories。 They’re well crafted and written。 The stories are also very spooky and I’ve been having so many nightmares。 Definitely recommend for the spooky season。 The main thing to take away from this book is that FNAF effects all ages, not just kids, and that makes the series a bit scarier。My own issue with this book is that the main characters were not kids and it was a bit of a weird shake up from the MO of the model of these books。 The second story also had a weird POV switch and it threw me off。Verdict: Recommend these still! 。。。more

I don’t know。。。 Again。。。 I hate blaming people for their own demise but Devon has shown himself to be very cruel, self-serving and selfish。 He in part deserved getting bit by the freddy animatronic。。 Did he deserve death? No。 He’s a stupid fucking kid! Kids can be the worst and absolute MONSTERS to each other especially if they feel slighted。And Devon’s obsession with getting Heather to like him made him do this。 Especially given her words on ‘justice’ being getting revenge on someone who slighted you。 I’ve seen people claiming these books have no connection to the games but I believe they are connected but we simply do not have all the clue’s to connect it all because Cawthon wants it that way。 But I do enjoy peoples theory’s trying to make sense of it all。 。。。more

The middle story was almost my favorite- it had the perfect chilling ending- but the main plot dragged on a little too long。 It's about a woman who finds a doll at a garage sale that has a programmable alarm inside it。 She thinks the doll will be the answer to helping her get her life back in order, but, needless to say, that's that last thing the doll does。 The final story was the darkest。 It's about revenge and the meaning of justice and the hurt caused by not fitting in。 The ending missed its mark a little, though for both me and my daughter。 I really enjoy our times together reading these novella collections and look forward to then next one! 。。。more
