All the world was a cute book with a simple message。 The poem itself may not have had many words but it captured the essence of the message with the help of the illustrations。 The book tells a story of a families day and although the day is not perfect all is well。 This book points out that everything is connected and the world is a community as a whole。 The idea that all humans, plants, and animals, are in this together is a beautiful concept that promotes global peace。

All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon is a book about how we as the readers perceive the world from our own view, thus making it our world。 The author makes the readers feel like their world is the most important。 I thoroughly enjoyed the word choices and the way the author rhymed the words for a smooth read。 As I read the story, I felt an overall calmness come over me, which has only ever happened to me a handful of times while reading any book。 The illustrations were simple and did not take up t All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon is a book about how we as the readers perceive the world from our own view, thus making it our world。 The author makes the readers feel like their world is the most important。 I thoroughly enjoyed the word choices and the way the author rhymed the words for a smooth read。 As I read the story, I felt an overall calmness come over me, which has only ever happened to me a handful of times while reading any book。 The illustrations were simple and did not take up too much of the page, but enough that you could match them with the words on the page。 The message of the story is the biggest reason why I believe that this book will be found in my classroom library one day。 。。。more

“All the World” tells the story of a day spent with loved ones, and despite not going quite as planned, it remains a tale of a beautiful time spent with family。 The plot and rhyme of the story are entrancing, pulling you in and taking you along for the ride as you fall deeper and deeper into the story as it goes on。 The story creates a connection between everyone, “All of the World,” if you will。 The illustrations are just as beautiful as the plot, bright and warm。 They help replicate the feeli “All the World” tells the story of a day spent with loved ones, and despite not going quite as planned, it remains a tale of a beautiful time spent with family。 The plot and rhyme of the story are entrancing, pulling you in and taking you along for the ride as you fall deeper and deeper into the story as it goes on。 The story creates a connection between everyone, “All of the World,” if you will。 The illustrations are just as beautiful as the plot, bright and warm。 They help replicate the feelings one gets when they spend time with the people they love。 As I read, the voice I interpreted was light and airy almost, joyous and sentimental as well。 。。。more

I rate "All the World", five stars because I love that this picture book it appreciates all the small, big, good and not so good things the world has to offer。 The illustartions in this book are so beautiful and full of color。 The voice I heard was the children's voice pointing out everything they see and are doing。 I rate "All the World", five stars because I love that this picture book it appreciates all the small, big, good and not so good things the world has to offer。 The illustartions in this book are so beautiful and full of color。 The voice I heard was the children's voice pointing out everything they see and are doing。 。。。more

The illustrations and words in this book are beautiful。 The pictures are so vibrant and eye-catching。 The book discusses what makes our world, our world。 The voice I hear when I read this book is very enthusiastic and the poetic form used adds so much goodness in this book。

The story is all about a family who travels "all around the world。" The book describes their course of the day from going out to dinner, nature, and family。 The voice I interpreted is a young child who enjoys time with his family and nature。 The story is all about a family who travels "all around the world。" The book describes their course of the day from going out to dinner, nature, and family。 The voice I interpreted is a young child who enjoys time with his family and nature。 。。。more

All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon and illustrated by Marla Frazee: every page is covered with colorful illustrations that depict moments of life and the world。There is no specific plotline but it mainly follows what may happen in a day。The tone of this story is very lighthearted and warm。 It makes you appreciate the world, life and people around you。

Owen’s favorite book right now。 And yeah, I’m logging the books I read to my infant son。 Picture books are basically where I’m at okay。

This book tries to get readers to see that everything is interconnected on earth, but I felt like it was coming from a new age-y sort of perspective: (All the world is you and me/Everything you hear, smell, see/All the world is everything/Everything is you and me/Hope and peace and love and trust/All the world is all of us)。 The illustrations are pretty nice (looks like coastal California) and sort of preview what's coming next in the book if you look for it。 You could have some conversations ab This book tries to get readers to see that everything is interconnected on earth, but I felt like it was coming from a new age-y sort of perspective: (All the world is you and me/Everything you hear, smell, see/All the world is everything/Everything is you and me/Hope and peace and love and trust/All the world is all of us)。 The illustrations are pretty nice (looks like coastal California) and sort of preview what's coming next in the book if you look for it。 You could have some conversations about what the child can see in the illustrations, but on the whole, I wasn't wowed by this Caldecott Honor Book。 。。。more

This is my favorite picture book。 Beautiful poem, beautiful themes, beautiful illustrations。 This week it passed the kid test。 This will be a new December tradition - to read it several times during December to create our own family meaning of the Holiday season。 "All the world is all of us" This is my favorite picture book。 Beautiful poem, beautiful themes, beautiful illustrations。 This week it passed the kid test。 This will be a new December tradition - to read it several times during December to create our own family meaning of the Holiday season。 "All the world is all of us" 。。。more

This book has amazing pictures and I enjoyed looking at the pictures of nature。 The only thing I dislike about this book is that all the sentences are too short and have too many commas。 I prefer the sentences to be smooth, have less commas, less periods, and more rhyming words。 That's just my personal opinion but overall, I like the book。 This book has amazing pictures and I enjoyed looking at the pictures of nature。 The only thing I dislike about this book is that all the sentences are too short and have too many commas。 I prefer the sentences to be smooth, have less commas, less periods, and more rhyming words。 That's just my personal opinion but overall, I like the book。 。。。more
