Holy SHIT, this was one rollercoaster of a volume! Seriously, we went from cute and funny, to just funny, to heartbreaking, to ohhhhh shit something's going down soon。I don't want to discuss too much because of spoilers, but there are two specific chapters I want to talk about: the volleyball chapter and Hayasaka's chapter。 What I loved about the volleyball chapter is how it once again proves that you can keep a running gag going for a long time as long as you keep it fresh。 There were more twis Holy SHIT, this was one rollercoaster of a volume! well, that was a rather ominous ending - not like any of us like Kaguya's family, but this does not bode well for her。 well, that was a rather ominous ending - not like any of us like Kaguya's family, but this does not bode well for her。 。。。more

My goodness!!! volume 18 has more toxics in it than I anticipated。。。😖。。。 So dark, and complicated characters/relationships。。。 You don't really know how the moral compasses of these characters can become twisted。。。 Loving the character developments (particularly the drawings of the main casts)。。。 My goodness!!! volume 18 has more toxics in it than I anticipated。。。😖。。。 So dark, and complicated characters/relationships。。。 You don't really know how the moral compasses of these characters can become twisted。。。 Loving the character developments (particularly the drawings of the main casts)。。。 。。。more

Kaguya-sama: Love is War, the anime, brought some joy into my life when I needed it the most。 I was worried that the manga wouldn't be as funny, since the comedy of the show highly relied on the crazy animation and the over-the-top reactions。 I was oh so wrong。 The manga is just as hilarious as its adaptation。 Great characters, great storylines, a believable love story and effective comedy。Perfect when you need a good laugh!
