I've been Re-Vandalized。 🖤I wasn't sure about re-reading Vandals story because I remember how much it affected me the first time I read it a few years ago。 I admit it didn't hurt as much as the first time as I knew what to expect。 But the sheer anguish， guilt， grief and pain that Vandal endures still took my breath away。Vandal is a hard man to get close to， he's always been the dark， tortured damaged member of the band。 He doesn't do Love or relationships， he takes what he wants from women。。。an I've been Re-Vandalized。 🖤I wasn't sure about re-reading Vandals story because I remember how much it affected me the first time I read it a few years ago。 I admit it didn't hurt as much as the first time as I knew what to expect。 But the sheer anguish， guilt， grief and pain that Vandal endures still took my breath away。Vandal is a hard man to get close to， he's always been the dark， tortured damaged member of the band。 He doesn't do Love or relationships， he takes what he wants from women。。。and that's it。 The only love he's ever known is that for his daughter。Tabitha has suffered pain too， losing the love of her life has her spiralling out of control。 So when she meets Vandal he offers to help her forget， its an offer to good to refuse。 But their tragic pasts can never stay hidden and when the truth comes out a whole new world of pain comes with it。 Throughout this whole story my heart was breaking， just knowing what both Tabi and Vandal went through was devastating。 I loved how they grew together， healed and helped each other， even when they didn't realise they were doing it。。。I felt the connection from them both。 A truly moving， beautiful story about love and loss， forgiveness and redemption。 Tabitha and Vandal still hold a special place in my heart and they always will。 I still have so much love for Sterling in this story。 I just want to pet the furry little guy。 🐈💗 。。。more

I am loving this series， Carian Cole is a gift author and it is great to see another side of her creative mind with this second book of the "Ashes & Embers" series。 This is Vandal and Tabitha's story， two heartbroken people coming together in the best way they know who。 Vandal wants submission and Tabitha is willing to give it to him。 Each have their own secrets and inner demons。 I loved how everything played out in this book， the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama， angst， heartfelt I am loving this series， Carian Cole is a gift author and it is great to see another side of her creative mind with this second book of the "Ashes & Embers" series。 This is Vandal and Tabitha's story， two heartbroken people coming together in the best way they know who。 Vandal wants submission and Tabitha is willing to give it to him。 Each have their own secrets and inner demons。 I loved how everything played out in this book， the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama， angst， heartfelt and emotional moments and some sexy times。 I found the story captivating from start to end。 Also loved to surprise twist with Tabitha。 Carian Cole thank you for another awesome story！ 。。。more

I'm not gonna lie， I had a love hate （mostly hate） relationship with this book and Vandal。 I wanted to love Vandal， I felt for him and the loss of Katie but HE made me hate him。 I didn't like ho he treated Tabi through most of the book。 I didn't feel any emotions from him towards her， other than lust。 His jealousy confused me but I did get why he didn't know how to love a woman。 He loved his daughter but no other person and I can see his struggle with that。 This was a hard book， I preferred Stor I'm not gonna lie， I had a love hate （mostly hate） relationship with this book and Vandal。 I wanted to love Vandal， I felt for him and the loss of Katie but HE made me hate him。 I didn't like ho he treated Tabi through most of the book。 I didn't feel any emotions from him towards her， other than lust。 His jealousy confused me but I did get why he didn't know how to love a woman。 He loved his daughter but no other person and I can see his struggle with that。 This was a hard book， I preferred Storm's book over this one but I am glad I stuck through this and finished this book。 There's really not an HEA and you don't get to see into their future so I'm not really sure what kind of relationship they are going to end up with。 。。。more
