Such a beautiful story with perfect amount of sweet， spice and drama。 Ford is one of the best single dad’s I’ve read and I loved Millie。 I loved how all off the guys in athletics department loved her， also her relationship with Ford daughter was so cute。 Could not put it down。 One of the best books I’ve read。 Can’t wait for book no 2 in the Treasure State Wildcat series

I couldn’t put this book down！！ I ate it up and enjoyed every minute of it！ I loved everything about it。 The characters， the story， the second chance， the banter， the kid， all of it。 Ford Ellis quickly became one of my fav book boyfriends even after leaving my girl for 10 years （but I forgive him because he was doing what was best for his daughter at the time）。 Waiting until next year for book 2 is gonna suck but I’m super excited to hear Toren’s story！

3⭐️ // 1/3🌶️the cute， angst romance I needed in between books。 Ford and Mills were cute but like with Perry’s other books I just feel a lack of depth。 Characters seem to exist only in the present， their past is glossed over so quickly that sometimes their actions don’t make complete sense。 That being said， I still enjoyed this a lot AND no third act breakup so always a bonus for my anxious heart lol
