Mmm I liked that everyone got their happy ever after。 I would’ve like to see how Winnie and the boys were like 5 years down the track or something。 I’m disappointed there wasn’t much smut。 I think there was only like 2 scenes。 But I suppose it was more about the characters and the plot。

I am so happy with this ending！ Everything makes sense， at least a little。 I wish that it was more spread out through the book， but with it only being just over 200 pages， I guess I can accept the quick ending。 It was beautifully wrapped， and I love the connection Winnie and the boys gain and hold through the series。 I can’t wait for the next story from the Seven Isles！

I’ll preface this by saying I did enjoy it， but this review will mainly showcase the flaws， so take that with a grain of salt。 This was a decent done-for-now conclusion to Winnie and her Lost Boys’ story。While this series has always been fairly fast-paced， this book felt especially fast。 I feel as though Nikki could have flushed out her scenes a bit more and added a few more pages to each chapter， especially as we got to the end and switched POVs as often as we did。 The chapter lengths made the I’ll preface this by saying I did enjoy it， but this review will mainly showcase the flaws， so take that with a grain of salt。 This was a decent done-for-now conclusion to Winnie and her Lost Boys’ story。While this series has always been fairly fast-paced， this book felt especially fast。 I feel as though Nikki could have flushed out her scenes a bit more and added a few more pages to each chapter， especially as we got to the end and switched POVs as often as we did。 The chapter lengths made the story feel as though we went from 0-100 with no warning。 Regardless of it being the climax of the book， I could have done with a slightly slower speed。This installment had a severe lack of spice compared to the rest of the series， which isn’t necessarily a bad thing， but when you read a why-choose romance， you go into it expecting more than just two spicy scenes。 While I prefer to have more plot lead content in the books I tend to consume， I would have actually preferred the story to be a little less involved in the plot in order to give room for more spice， even just another chapter or two。 Again， not a bad thing for spice to be lacking in literature， but with this series in particular， it’s expected。Each installment has floated around 200 pages， but I feel as though this book would’ve been better if Nikki hit closer to the 300 page range， again just to give more details and better even out the pacing。 。。。more

I’m a sucker for the found family trope and this series definitely delivers。 Nikki wrote a perfect ending， throwing in a HEA and the origin of Peter Pan， both of which I loved。 The spice is consistently HOT and the group scenes are chef’s kiss 🤌🏼Roc made a reappearance and I cannot wait to see where his story goes as we get more adventure in the Seven Isles。
