By far the greatest book of the series so far！ The love between the main characters is so strong and I loved reading about the development Manon is going through。 I enjoyed that there will now be some more magic and they have at least accomplished a tiny win for now。

I loved this book！ It felt like the perfect turning point in the story。 There were some major developments in the story line， lots of action， and major character development。 Sometimes epic fantasy series suffer from too much filler in the middle books。 That is not a problem here， but reader beware it is a long one。 There are a couple of options for reading order of this series。 I read the first 3 books and then Assassin's Bade before this one。 This book does bring in some characters and events I loved this book！ It felt like the perfect turning point in the story。 There were some major developments in the story line， lots of action， and major character development。 Sometimes epic fantasy series suffer from too much filler in the middle books。 That is not a problem here， but reader beware it is a long one。 There are a couple of options for reading order of this series。 I read the first 3 books and then Assassin's Bade before this one。 This book does bring in some characters and events from Assassin's Blade。 Regardless of what order you choose to read make sure you do read Assassin's Blade at some point before starting this book and the rest of the series。 。。。more

I mean yeah it’s a great book。 The drama， the plot， the mystery， twist and turns all unfold so magically and Mrs Maas loves to give you an emotional roller coaster。 Ugh。 Yeah - the plot is definitely thickening … that is one thing that I find very interesting is that all her books have been one long continuation of the same larger over arching problem and isn’t a new thing every book。 I’m excited to pick up the next book。。 AND TANDEM READ！！ How fun

My god， this book was so perfect that I regret giving any other book I've read in this series 5 stars。 This book was the perfect culmination of the books that precede it。 All the characters' stories and struggles come together in a fantastic story of rebellion and freedom。 Not to mention the absolute firecracker of women in this series！！ I love how many badass women are in these books and how the majority of them are leading the men， it is such a treat to read。 It felt as if this book took what My god， this book was so perfect that I regret giving any other book I've read in this series 5 stars。 This book was the perfect culmination of the books that precede it。 All the characters' stories and struggles come together in a fantastic story of rebellion and freedom。 Not to mention the absolute firecracker of women in this series！！ I love how many badass women are in these books and how the majority of them are leading the men， it is such a treat to read。 It felt as if this book took what the previous books were building， and tied it up in a ribbon。 Even though I know there is more story to be told， it feels as though the story of Celeana is completely concluded， and Aelin is just now beginning。 。。。more
