This book was an exquisite， most beautiful treat for my Romance palate！ It is filled with deliciousness to the brim！ It is Explosive。 Voracious。 Dreamy and Daring！ Sparks of passion and daggers of love-hate dance flying everywhere！ All at the same time！ Only after reading this book do you fully understand the boundless meaning of the word CRACALICIOIS！（ I think LJ Shen invented it and gave it a FULL meaning in this book）If there was ever a book with all my favorite firsts - it must be this one！ This book was an exquisite， most beautiful treat for my Romance palate！ It is filled with deliciousness to the brim！ It is Explosive。 Voracious。 Dreamy and Daring！ Sparks of passion and daggers of love-hate dance flying everywhere！ All at the same time！ Only after reading this book do you fully understand the boundless meaning of the word CRACALICIOIS！（ I think LJ Shen invented it and gave it a FULL meaning in this book）If there was ever a book with all my favorite firsts - it must be this one！ I loved how clever and sensual， fierce and lovey Dallas was。 I loved Romeo’s raw， dark and reserved power laced with an unexpected tenderness and vulnerability。 I fell for their acute，desperate， almost painful longing and their feelings - volatile yet fierce！ Hearts fighting convictions。 Limbs fighting … well maybe not exactly fighting… but limbs are doing A WHOLE LOT in this story！This art of words speaks for itself！ About the words: every word and every sentence is carved to perfection！ Each word so strikingly powerful， it carries a perfect undertone of emotion， pace， and always - the clues！ Sometimes I love the most the things you don’t say but make the reader read and feel in between the lines！The dialogues are ON FIRE！ Romeo and Dallas are on FIRE！ This book is nothing， BUT FIRE！ And by fire I think I also mean that you can really feel the fire， the genuine excitement and fun with which the authors wrote this book！ I think the authors had the MOST fun writing this book and that’s what gave this story SO MUCH FIRE， passion and life！ 。。。more

Actually， I didn't like the book but I did add a star for the gorgeous cover！Now， let's see。。。 No idea what kind of contribution Parker made to My Dark Romeo， it was basically nonexistent。 Everything was very L。J。 Shen-y of late， over-the-top and oftentimes ridiculous。 And dang it， I really wanted to love this book because the cover is unfairly beautiful。I have been wondering for a while now， but what happened to Leigh？ Where is the charm of Vicious？ Where are the sparks of Midnight Blue and all Actually， I didn't like the book but I did add a star for the gorgeous cover！Now， let's see。。。 No idea what kind of contribution Parker made to My Dark Romeo， it was basically nonexistent。 Everything was very L。J。 Shen-y of late， over-the-top and oftentimes ridiculous。 And dang it， I really wanted to love this book because the cover is unfairly beautiful。I have been wondering for a while now， but what happened to Leigh？ Where is the charm of Vicious？ Where are the sparks of Midnight Blue and all the other amazing earlier works of hers？ Anyway， the bottom line is， I'm disappointed。 。。。more

Best collaboration ever！Two of my favorite authors wrote a book together！It felt like Christmas， Easter， and the 4th of July all at once。I not only enjoyed this arranged marriage， romance book but it really blew me away。 It was amazing！The antics and banter were present in every chapter and on every page。

I have been a fan of LJ Shem， since I started reading her books about 7 years ago。 I was in high school and my friend has let me borrow her copy of LJ shen's books。 I can't tell you which one。 And I definitely can't tell you how old I was。 But I will tell you。 I have become absolutely obsessed。 And I so honored that I am getting a chance to review her new book my dark Romeo， which her collab with author Parker S Huntington 。。。 This isn't your typical enemies to Lovers。 I can hear your rolling yo I have been a fan of LJ Shem， since I started reading her books about 7 years ago。 I was in high school and my friend has let me borrow her copy of LJ shen's books。 I can't tell you which one。 And I definitely can't tell you how old I was。 But I will tell you。 I have become absolutely obsessed。 And I so honored that I am getting a chance to review her new book my dark Romeo， which her collab with author Parker S Huntington 。。。 This isn't your typical enemies to Lovers。 I can hear your rolling your eyes。 I feel like in normal enemies to Lovers， they hate each other for a hot minute。 But because of forced proximity they end up falling in love。 This is like that。 But not。 The main characters of this plot line do not give us an easy enemies to Lovers romance。 This story really shows the character development。 And it paces itself really nicely。 It really promotes the idea of meeting someone and building something， instead of the instant love。 And the story also shows you a love that is a lot more closer to reality than what society paints relationships as。We have Romeo that is calculative and deceptive。 And we have Dallas that we would usually cast as a naive， sheltered easily to manipulate but has a giant personality。 I love how Dallas wasn't painted as a stereotypical sunshine girl。 And Romeo wasn't your typical brooding silent type。 We got a lot depth and layers on theses characters。 I would definitely rate this as a 5 star rating。And on a side note， I love chemistry of the male friendships。 There were so many moments I was cracking up with laughter in my home。 。。。more

Decadent and deliciously angsty， My Dark Romeo is a powerful piece of storytelling。 Romeo and Dallas are the perfect foils for each other and I adored the push and pull of their relationship。 The story is paced perfectly and the characters are so wonderfully fleshed out， it’s impossible not to be completely consumed by it。 Overall， an exceptional read that you definitely don’t want to miss！
