I used this book for an read aloud and fell in love with it， i think it is the perfect book for introducing understanding feelings to young kids。 I love that it helps bring visuals to the idea of feelings through the use of colors。 After reading it for my read aloud assignment I also read it to the children I nanny and they also loved it。 It is such a cute and fun book， I will defintely use it one day when I have my own classroom！

This is a perfect book for teaching young children about their emotions。 Feelings are sometimes hard to decipher at a young age and I believe this book encompasses that perfectly。 Each emotion being linked to an individual color to separate them I think could be a really helpful tool to use in real life as well！ Highly recommend！

I read this with my niece and I think she might be too young for it （she's 3）。 To be fair， the pop-ups are amazing and she was so taken away by them and focused on admiring and interacting with them that she didn't really listen to what I was reading。Though I have to say that I wish the book didn't separate emotions so definitely。 Something can make you feel several emotions at the same time and it's completely normal。 This book forgets about that。But yes， lovely book and beautifully built， so m I read this with my niece and I think she might be too young for it （she's 3）。 To be fair， the pop-ups are amazing and she was so taken away by them and focused on admiring and interacting with them that she didn't really listen to what I was reading。Though I have to say that I wish the book didn't separate emotions so definitely。 Something can make you feel several emotions at the same time and it's completely normal。 This book forgets about that。But yes， lovely book and beautifully built， so maybe in another year my niece will pay more attention。 。。。more
