The call Twice received was about how they know everything about the League of Villains。 Garani told them to come to his hideout。 Shigaraki agrees since he has a weapon up his sleeves and they all go。 Now they are all fighting while the Garani himself is still hiding in his room。 Shigaraki has gone noticeably stronger on how he just killed three people coming after him in an instant。

new ofa talent: UNLOCKED! BAKUDEKU TRAINING!!!!!shinsou!!!! he’s getting in!!! HE’S GETTING IN!!!! i’m so happy for him!! he deserves it so much 🥺i actually really liked the look into the LOV’s way of life。 it’s interesting and kind of reassuring to know they’re still human and still manage to care about people。 of course, that doesn’t excuse all the murder and everything else they’ve done。 it’s just nice to know they’re not unfeeling monsters, yknow?all in all, a pretty great read。 4 stars from new ofa talent: UNLOCKED! My Villian Academia I love the League of Villians so much, and it's because they're the found family troupe。 They're just so good at being bad but being good。There are a lot of moments in this volume I love。 The kids from 1-A and B just vibing in the dorms, Shinsho being accepted into the hero course, Aizawa backstory。But the villains take the cake for just being who they are。Compress wanting sushi and a new arm。Spinner wanting a will to live。The fact that Toga wears a short skirt but you can cl My Villian Academia I love the League of Villians so much, and it's because they're the found family troupe。 They're just so good at being bad but being good。There are a lot of moments in this volume I love。 The kids from 1-A and B just vibing in the dorms, Shinsho being accepted into the hero course, Aizawa backstory。But the villains take the cake for just being who they are。Compress wanting sushi and a new arm。Spinner wanting a will to live。The fact that Toga wears a short skirt but you can clearly see she wears shorts under them and her and Twice are one half of a whole idiot。The fact that they may be terrorists basically but at least they aren't racist, sexist, transphobic, or homophobic just speaks a lot about who they are as people despite what they're doing with their lives and I love them as much as I love the kids' side of the story。 。。。more

picked this up as a re-read to prepare for the upcoming season late this month。 i really like that we get to see shinsou go to bat against 1A and 1B。 we see deku learn about how many quirks he really has at his disposal and then that’s all the happy we get because the story gets flipped on its head and we see what the league of villains has been up to, how low on funds they are, and with their meeting with the doctor and redestro, they now have a mission and a BIG problem to tame。really interest picked this up as a re-read to prepare for the upcoming season late this month。 i really like that we get to see shinsou go to bat against 1A and 1B。 we see deku learn about how many quirks he really has at his disposal and then that’s all the happy we get because the story gets flipped on its head and we see what the league of villains has been up to, how low on funds they are, and with their meeting with the doctor and redestro, they now have a mission and a BIG problem to tame。really interested to see how the anime is going to show this whole arc。 hope they really do it justice because it’s so different, giving more weight to the villain characters。 and it’s also sad but good sad。4 out of 5 cause I hate the doctor and afo and would rather read about anybody else but them。 also shinsou is great and deserves more than just this small sliver of a half season。 。。。more

I like the ending the best。 It got a bit messy in the middle and I couldn't tell what was happening in some of the panels, there was a lot of plots too。 In the end the plots tied together and made sense。 I like how there was a scene from the future then it lead up to that point in the following pages(does that make sense?) I love any volume with the LOV and am excited to see them again。 I liked the little insight of Tomura's background we got。 Overall a good book, it just got confusing for me in I like the ending the best。 It got a bit messy in the middle and I couldn't tell what was happening in some of the panels, there was a lot of plots too。 In the end the plots tied together and made sense。 I like how there was a scene from the future then it lead up to that point in the following pages(does that make sense?) 4,5 estrellas | con el tomo anterior necesité un momento para asimilar todo lo que pasó。 En este lo necesito para asimilar toda la información que nos tira。 Mucho de todo: el One for all, Shigaraki y la Liga, el doctor, la nueva organización。 Pará un poco *no pares nunca*Casi me olvido!

I like that this one split the focus between the heroes and the villains。 I like learning about all of the characters。

Every volume gets better and better。 So much happens again in this one!We pick up right where we left off, with Midoriya speaking with one of the past members of One for All。 It's such an exciting development with his Quirk that has so much potential! I'm so excited to see where Midoriya goes from here with expanding his use of One for All, and possibly learning to wield other members' powers as well。The final match of the Joint Training concludes, Deku vs Shinsou。 It's basically a rematch。 Both of them have improved since their time at the Sports Festival, and their fight is stepped up a notch。 An amazing result comes out of it, and I'm so pleased Shinsou got some more screen time。 His character truly deserves it, and I'm glad Horikoshi brought him back, even if it was for a short time。There are some very funny moments in this volume too。 Now that Bakugou knows about One for All and Midoriya's connection to All Might, we get some hilarious interactions between the trio as they can all talk freely about it with one another。 Bakugou is still his tsundere, grumpy self, but he's a tad bit softer now and easier to work with。Speaking of Bakugou, he and Todoroki finally get another chance at obtaining their provisional licenses, so they can catch up with everyone else。 If you've seen the movie Heroes Rising, you'll know that the pair do get their licenses (otherwise they wouldn't have been able to take part in the hero work they do on the island), and I burst out laughing at how they end up using their licenses not even an hour after they get them。After the Joint Training arc, things move away from the heroes for a while and we get a look at the villains。 Interestingly, another villainous group are beginning to come out of the woodwork。 They aim to take down the League of Villains, but they don't appear to be heroes。 They speak of liberation and being free, yet the acts they perform are pretty evil at times。 They've been waiting in hiding for years, hidden in plain sight。 The League appears to have another enemy again, just like they did with Overhaul, but this one is much larger and much tougher。It was good to catch up with the League of Villains and see what they've been up to。 It feels like a while since we've seen them properly in action。 Shigaraki's got his work cut out for him as he tries to bolster the League, meeting up with All for One's allies and having to prove himself worthy of their aid。 We also gain an insight into Shigaraki, specifically his backstory and how he came into contact with All for One, and why he wears those damn hands! It's a very tragic backstory, as you'd expect from a clearly hurt and damaged individual。Things are getting really exciting now! Quirk developments, more villains, epic battles。。。 I cannot wait to see where things go from here! 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 My Hero Academia volume 23 started really good with finishing up the 1A vs 1B exercise but then it got a little confusing when it skipped to the League of Villians。First of, Shinsou being accepted into the heroics department made me lowkey sob。 I don't know if it was because AOT already had me emotional or if it's because I was so stressed about him possible failing but I did cry a little。 I'm so fucking proud of how far he's gotten and how fast he's catching up。 I know thst the series will prob My Hero Academia volume 23 started really good with finishing up the 1A vs 1B exercise but then it got a little confusing when it skipped to the League of Villians。First of, Shinsou being accepted into the heroics department made me lowkey sob。 I don't know if it was because AOT already had me emotional or if it's because I was so stressed about him possible failing but I did cry a little。 I'm so fucking proud of how far he's gotten and how fast he's catching up。 I know thst the series will probably end before 2nd year tho so we won't see him in class which sucks。 On a happy note though, seeing him and Aizawa interact made me so fricken happy。Quick note before jumping into the League of Villains section, the trio of All Might, Midoriya, and Bakugou is making me very happy。 Bakugou's redemption arc was something I've been really looking forward to see progress and these recent volumes have been providing。 I liked that he was helping Midoriya figure out his new quirk and how he was sitting down nicely with All Might and Midoriya to have a conversation。 They probably won't be able to go back to friends but they can have a beneficial partnership between them。Onto the League of Villians section。 I understand we went a month backwards to see what they've been doing to see one scene of them getting beat up by Machia but then it skips further back to their first meeting with him which through me off。Seeing the doctor really made me question if Midoriya's appointment at age five was correct。 I already knew there were theories around it before but seeing this really cements it。 We also go to see a glimpse of Shiggy's backstory which I really enjoyed。 What's fun about everything next is that it's stuff I don't know other than the occasional death spoiler and such (which I'm still pissed about knowing a few, thank you asshole manga readers)。 I didnt know anything about a liberation group so that was unexpected。 。。。more
