I’m obsessed！ As someone who deals with a condition which often makes me feel “fragile，” I related to Violet and her struggle to overcome her weaknesses and deal with frequent pain。 It was amazing to see a heroine who was strong not because of her battle prowess but because of her intelligence， empathy， cunning， and willpower。 One of my favorite book quotes is: “You deserve someone who'll run with you as far and as fast as you want to。 Holding your hand， not holding you back。” This must be Xaden I’m obsessed！ As someone who deals with a condition which often makes me feel “fragile，” I related to Violet and her struggle to overcome her weaknesses and deal with frequent pain。 It was amazing to see a heroine who was strong not because of her battle prowess but because of her intelligence， empathy， cunning， and willpower。 One of my favorite book quotes is: “You deserve someone who'll run with you as far and as fast as you want to。 Holding your hand， not holding you back。” This must be Xaden’s motto because he supported Violet and believed in her no matter how unlikely success seemed。 I adore this book and can’t wait for the next one。 The ending was heartbreaking， but the plot twist was *chef’s kiss* 。。。more

500 pages of fantasy romance。 I really enjoyed this book。 It felt like a new adult how to train your dragon which is all I’ve ever wanted， slow burn enemies to lovers， chronic illness/disability rep！！ and lgbt+ side characters！ powers reminded me of the Darkling from shadow and bone and Mare from red queen but still some cool unique ones in there too。 however the pacing。 was。 atrocious。 I was ready for this book to be over at page 200。 Time was going way too fast for events that were described t 500 pages of fantasy romance。 I really enjoyed this book。 It felt like a new adult how to train your dragon which is all I’ve ever wanted， slow burn enemies to lovers， chronic illness/disability rep！！ and lgbt+ side characters！ powers reminded me of the Darkling from shadow and bone and Mare from red queen but still some cool unique ones in there too。 however the pacing。 was。 atrocious。 I was ready for this book to be over at page 200。 Time was going way too fast for events that were described to be long at the start。 I don’t even know how the pacing would be fixed though because the book kinda relies on it jumping around like that。 also there’s a love triangle the first 100 pages that was just ridiculous because we all know who never stood a chance 。。。more

4。5⭐️ Wow！ What a ride。 My only regret is not savoring this book。 RTCI knew I was going to like this book， based solely on the fact that there were dragons。 I didn’t expect to love it this much！ The FMC has a disability where her bones and ligaments are weaker and she is easily injured。 This does not slow her down one bit。 She adapts！ Trained as a scribe， Violet is “volunteered” by the Commander， who is also her mother， do join the Riders。 Following in her brother and sister’s footsteps。 The War 4。5⭐️ Wow！ What a ride。 My only regret is not savoring this book。 RTCI knew I was going to like this book， based solely on the fact that there were dragons。 I didn’t expect to love it this much！ The FMC has a disability where her bones and ligaments are weaker and she is easily injured。 This does not slow her down one bit。 She adapts！ Trained as a scribe， Violet is “volunteered” by the Commander， who is also her mother， do join the Riders。 Following in her brother and sister’s footsteps。 The War Academy for Riders is brutal。 There is death at every turn。 Violet continues to make her self stronger， despite being called weak。 The romance that buds in this…phew is the tension hot！ And don’t get me started on how freaking cool the dragons are！ Magic and mind speak！ The side characters are also some of my favorite。 Thank you to entangled publishing for sending me an arc。 This comes out in May 2023， and I’m so angry I need to wait for book 2…。because there is a doozy of a cliffhanger。 。。。more

I feel so lucky to have gotten an arc of this book。 It’s truly one of my forever favorites now。 If you love steamy romantic fantasy， I highly HIGHLY recommend this one。 An exhilarating dragon ride of a fantasy！ Brutal， fast-paced， compelling， and simmering with romantic tension that left me on the edge of my seat。 Fourth Wing is everything I want in a book and more。 Phenomenal！ Move this one to the top of your TBR。
