i dont really remember anything important happening in this? like nothing really happend, expect getting to know the characters (which i really I adored btw)。 And well all the tragedys that happened in riverclan。 Authors probably decided to trauma dump that poor clan but whatever。 I really liked the characters。 Not boring and i liked them。

3。5*I didn’t think this was going to live up to my non existent expectations that I have for the new Warrior Cat books。 However this turned out to be much much more entertaining when compared to the last arc including the whole Ashfur ghost idea (I didn’t enjoy that)。 The thing that mainly sold me on this book was newly named Nightheart (I really like his name now even though the recent names in all the clans have been incredibly out of the world *cough* weird)。 Nightheart is a surprisingly emo 3。5*I didn’t think this was going to live up to my non existent expectations that I have for the new Warrior Cat books。 However this turned out to be much much more entertaining when compared to the last arc including the whole Ashfur ghost idea (I didn’t enjoy that)。 The thing that mainly sold me on this book was newly named Nightheart (I really like his name now even though the recent names in all the clans have been incredibly out of the world *cough* weird)。 Nightheart is a surprisingly emo cat that just hates everything about his fellow clanmates in Thunderclan which honestly was refreshing。 It was nice to see a cat that didn’t buy into the whole ‘Thunderclan are the best clan … we are Firestar’s ancestors so we are the best!…etc。 In a way, I want Nightheart to be in an authorial position because it would be interesting to see how he approaches leading。 A villain to the rest of the cats, that we as readers root for would be fun。Frostpaw’s character needs more development for her point of view to garner more interest。 As in, I don’t quite understand her motives or flaws as a character well。 Even though I’m criticizing Frostpaw’s character, I still enjoyed reading her part of the story。 That is because of how the Riverclan story is progressing with both Mistystar and Reedwhisker ending up dead。 There is definitely something suspicious in how they both died especially considering the ‘badger claws’ on Reedwhisker’ pelt。 Personally the most interesting turn the Erin’s could take with her story is to end up making her the leader and gradually improving her character to be more stern。 Now, at last we have Sunbeam who I really liked regardless of how it seems there is not much going on in this book for Shadowclan。 The last few pages from her perspective are definitely setting up Berryheart to be the future ‘villain’ or troublemaker。 So even though there wasn’t much plot going on, it seems that it was a solid base to get the story going on for the future books。 I really enjoyed how Sunbeam counters other people and how she remains strong in her beliefs。 Though it seems like she might be given ‘trials’ in a way that test her morals。 My least favourite character even though she helped to progress the plot is Lightleap…like girl…。Also, personally I hope that Blazefire and Sunbeam end up together。 However, I’m waiting to see how Blazefire’s reasoning for not wanting to be with Sunbeam is truthful。 Or there could be more to it (one of my ideas is that he felt saddened about this legs being crushed and believed sunbeam deserved better idk … or it could be that he does like lightleap…or the more fitting one which is just that he truly believed that their personalities are too different even though I found that to be a tiny bit suspicious)。Anyway, I’m excited to see how it plays out considering Nightheart and Sunbeam’s small interaction。 I wonder if that’s a set up for future friends to romance? If so, I hope that it’s way more gradual than Bristlefrost and Rootspring。 There needs to be a reason than just that they are two cats who we are reading from the perspective of。I’m gonna go and try to read the next book Sky as quick as I can。 。。。more

He could have gotten kicked in the face and his eyes scratched out like Longtail when he got kicked from that rabbit。 But no, she passed him on that time, so I guess it wasn’t as big of a risk, even though that’s happened to a cat in their clan。 I think him failing the second time was just so they could give him a hard time。 Like I said, all this disappointment and struggle and legacy he has to live up to is setting up something for him。 I feel sorry for him。 I’m happy that he got his name changed though, that was brilliant。 Ugh, the older books were better。 They just want to change the code now and make StarClan irrelevant and all these cats are moving clans and it takes away from the fact that we have separate clans。 There are rules for a reason。 It keeps things in control and organized。 Now all the cats are going to walk all over it and have no respect。 The books aren’t the same anymore。 Are the clans all going to become one big huge clan? Will all this drama make StarClan give up on them and the cats just go and do their own thing in their own separate ways? Who knows。 I miss the plot from POT and OOTS where we learned about the Ancients and DOTC and how it all started and how it all links up。 Now it just seems like it all has to fall apart。 And for what? Because the cats don’t want to follow the rules anymore。 Because StarClan can’t control anyone anymore and doesn’t want to talk to the living clans, or the Dark Forest gets too strong and starts taking control again like they always do。Mistakes I found, because Warrior's books:~Page 7, 5th line from the top, "His eyes shone with anger, and Flamepaw remembered that the warrior had lost two of this siblings as a results of Ashfur's lies。"Flamepaw was talking about Mousewhisker, and Mousewhisker did lose both of his siblings, but only Berrynose was killed because of Ashfur。 Their sister Hazeltail died moons earlier due to greencough, NOT from Ashfur。~Page 17, 1st line, "Her tongue rasped over Frostpaw's white-and-brown pelt in long skillful strokes。"Frostpaw's mom was grooming her, but Frostpaw isn't white and brown, she's listed as light gray in the allegiances and throughout the rest of the book。~Page 104, 9th row from the bottom, "Blazefire rolled his eyes good-humoredly, but he followed Lightleap without protest to their favorite flat rock near the edge of camp。"Blazefire was following Sunbeam, not Lightleap, so they just put the wrong name in。~Not a mistake but something I noticed, the writer used a similar term to describe the cats working together in their hunting on 2 separate occasions。 Once on page 137 it says, "with a clever bit of teamwork" and again on page 191 it says, "with a neat bit of teamwork"。 Just a redundancy I noticed。 If I remembered that while I was reading then in my opinion they should have used a different sentence instead of just changing the descriptive word。 。。。more

Now, I did not read the other 30 someodd books (and honestly, no series should be that long (unless done well, which this is not))。 But what I did read is。。。 eh。 Passable, but barely。Let's start with the Point-Of-View (POV) characters。SUNBEAM:Sunbeam is plain confusing。 She whines a lot, and is simply unpleasant to read。 In fact, I forgot most of her chapters。 Knowing how Bristlefrost was rejected by her crush in the last arc, and then got in a forbidden romance with a protagonist, I'm certain t Now, I did not read the other 30 someodd books (and honestly, no series should be that long (unless done well, which this is not))。 But what I did read is。。。 eh。 Passable, but barely。Let's start with the Point-Of-View (POV) characters。SUNBEAM:Sunbeam is plain confusing。 She whines a lot, and is simply unpleasant to read。 In fact, I forgot most of her chapters。 Knowing how Bristlefrost was rejected by her crush in the last arc, and then got in a forbidden romance with a protagonist, I'm certain that Sunbeam will be shipped with Flamepaw。FLAMEPAW (OR NIGHTHEART):Flamepaw is plain forgettable。 Oh noes, he's related to Firestar, and now he has to live up to the hefty expectations! How tragic~! If done well, this could've been interesting, but most of the faults were。。。 well。。。 Flamepaw's faults。 My biggest example is his warrior assessment。 For the first one, he should've decided to hunt a ton of prey。 He would've been taught about that by his mentor (whose name I forgot)。 Instead, he tries to go for a singular piece of big/unusual prey。 Even if he managed it, I'm certain that it won't be enough。 Then, on his second one, the Erins must've known that it was too early, so he chased a hawk and caught it, but then failed because it was dangerous。。。? What? That's simply stupid。 Squirrelflight is stupid。 But he succeeds on the third assessment, so that's the end of this character review :PFROSTPAW:Frostpaw was the best POV, and the reason I'm continuing to read。 Honestly, the book should've been about her。 Her medicine cat life and struggles of RiverClan were rather interesting to read。OTHER UNIMPORTANT CHARACTERS:I would review them, but I forgot them。 Even if you're a bazillion books in, your characters should be easy to read。 If I waltz right into Survivors: Storm of Dogs, I can get a good idea on what's happening, even if I read the first book many, many years ago。 But for River, I had no idea who's who。 Mind you, I've read four entire books! Which。。。 isn't much, honestly。。。 but still! For me to understand these characters, and feel sad when something bad happens, I'll have to read the entire series up to this point。 But since I didn't, I could only get attached to our protagonists (and by protagonists I mean just Frostpaw)。 I say that a major disaster should be introduced。 Have a plague strike the clans, and then throw in a tornado。 Why not? It would be interesting。 Oh! And let's have the clans unite to help each other。。。 wait, I'm writing the story for the Erins。 Hm, back on topic。The size of the clans is too much。 Limit it to 20, and if it nears that limit, or goes over it, kill some older characters, fan-favorites, or cats who aren't too important。 Do something to lower the numbers。 The smallest clan I believe is WindClan, but no one cares about WindClan, so they're pretty much nonexistent (really now, they introduced an entire FIFTH CLAN who they gave more POVs to than WindClan。 Did WindClan ever have a main Arc POV?)。More might be added to my review, but for now, that's it。 Long story short, read Survivors。 。。。more

I love that this book series started out quicker than the other ones。 At least half the time, the characters are kits or apprentices, but most of our protagonists were warriors (or soon-to-be)。 All the series don't exactly dive straight into the main plot and focus more on the characters and normal things that happen in the Clans。 I found it really intriguing the new rules that the Clans were proposing to change! There are three specific archetype sort of characters that are used in Warriors, and I enjoyed how it was done in this book。 Sunbeam's story interested me the most and hers was mostly emotional-based。 I could predict from the first appearance of a character what would happen。 Setting that part aside, Warriors can sometimes be predictable, while other times the Erins put a twist upon it。 Sunbeam went through a good emotional group。 Frostpaw felt the youngest out of the characters and, honestly, the most generic。 She followed the usual routine of medicine cats confused over what StarClan was telling them。 Despite Frostpaw being the least interesting character in my perspective, RiverClan was the most interesting Clan in this book。 Flamepaw was a character who felt a lot of conflict, within himself and with his mother! His struggle with the legacy that he comes from of great cats is pressuring。 I enjoyed his POV and am excited to see more from him。 /\_/\ (\ __ /) A__A ( ˶•o•˶) ( •ω• ) ( •⤙• )ଘ(ა📕) (ა📗૮)。 (📘٩ )੭🆗PLOT🆗PLOT TWIST✅CHARACTERS 。。。more
