4。5*Enjoyed this book even though I don’t read fantasy often。 A bit of a lull in the middle and some eye-rolling plot advances but I’m still super excited to see what the rest of the series entails。Romance in this book unexpectedly drew parallels with The Ravenhood series， depicting Tamlin as Sean and Rhysand as Tobias。

I really do love books about faeries！ And this one did not disappoint！ I loved the Beauty and the Beast elements as well woven throughout。 Which is probably why it’s a 5/5。 Without that it would’ve been 4/5。 There were some parts though， that I was like， really？ Like really？！ Why？！But all in all I did thoroughly enjoy it！

To be honest， I didn't think I'd love this book as much as I did。 Sure， the story is a bit basic with the whole "bloodier retelling of beauty and the beast"， but I was still sucked in。 I hated some characters， while I would die for others *cough cough* Lucien *cough cough*。 One thing I wish the author hadn't done though was making Feyre's future so obvious。 Obviously， she's going to end up with Rhys and not Tam。 I mean come on， a week a month with her and Rhys， no Tamlin in sight？ Am I supposed To be honest， I didn't think I'd love this book as much as I did。 Sure， the story is a bit basic with the whole "bloodier retelling of beauty and the beast"， but I was still sucked in。 I hated some characters， while I would die for others *cough cough* Lucien *cough cough*。 One thing I wish the author hadn't done though was making Feyre's future so obvious。 Obviously， she's going to end up with Rhys and not Tam。 I mean come on， a week a month with her and Rhys， no Tamlin in sight？ Am I supposed to believe nothing's going to happen？ Feyre's going to believe she's in love with Tamlin and then all of a sudden Rhys is going to realize he's in love with her， she's going to reject him， and then one night will realize she loves him too， yadda yadda ya。 （That doesn't mean I don't want it to happen though， I do）。 One question I do have is what was the look on Rhys' face at the very end。 The shock and disgust？ Was it him realizing something about Feyre？ Or about himself？ Overall， I absolutely loved this book。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 O livro é muito bom，entendo ele ser um pouco mais devagar do que os outros，pois você precisa entender a história e entrar no universo，se apaixonar por cada personagem e conhecer cada um。 Feyre é com certeza uma das minhas protagonistas femininas favoritas，ela é forte e sabe bem o que quer sem exitar em momento algum。Sob a Montanha é literalmente um salto no livro，a leitura fica tão boa que você não quer largar o livro um minuto，as cenas de Feyre acabando com Amarantha são as melhores da história O livro é muito bom，entendo ele ser um pouco mais devagar do que os outros，pois você precisa entender a história e entrar no universo，se apaixonar por cada personagem e conhecer cada um。 Feyre é com certeza uma das minhas protagonistas femininas favoritas，ela é forte e sabe bem o que quer sem exitar em momento algum。Sob a Montanha é literalmente um salto no livro，a leitura fica tão boa que você não quer largar o livro um minuto，as cenas de Feyre acabando com Amarantha são as melhores da história，Rhysand foi outro personagem fundamental para a Feyre nesse momento，ele trás um pouco de distração，mesmo nos momentos que ele irrita ela。E Tamlin cria uma relação bonita com a Feyre，mesmo dando alguns traços de quanto isso pode acabar com os dois em algum momento。 。。。more

I simply adored this book。 It was a great fantasy novel to get lost in。 You love the characters from the start and the author does a great job with setting everything up so that its not rushed but does not drag either。 I am excited for the next book because this story is just getting started。 :）

was HELLA slow at the beginning and up until like， chapter 35， i legitimately had no thoughts or feelings about this book。 it was such a mindless read and i was gonna rate it 1。5 stars AT BEST。 yet i hate to say this but i enjoyed it more than i should’ve towards the end so i bumped up my review to three stars lmfao ！！！！

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 RE-READI have been in a little bit of a reading slump since finishing 'A Court of Silver Flames。' I really wanted to get back into reading with a book I love。 I read this for the first time last year， during quarantine。 This was the first time I had any experience with Sarah J Maas。 I had ordered a box of about 10 books and 4 of them were the series。 I adore this book and am always finding new hints。 It also helps me understand characters development。 I absolutely disagree with the idea of Tamli RE-READI have been in a little bit of a reading slump since finishing 'A Court of Silver Flames。' I really wanted to get back into reading with a book I love。 I read this for the first time last year， during quarantine。 This was the first time I had any experience with Sarah J Maas。 I had ordered a box of about 10 books and 4 of them were the series。 I adore this book and am always finding new hints。 It also helps me understand characters development。 I absolutely disagree with the idea of Tamlins abuse being out of nowhere。 The signs were there from the beginning。 He was controlling and hurtful， making Feyre feel bad for everything。 One of the signs is when he saw the tattoo on Feyres arm after escaping from under the mountain。 He immediately speaks to her like a child who made a mess。 He says her name in a condescending tone and says they'll fix it。 She was dying and took a deal that saved her life and he was annoyed。 He didn't tell her the truth about anything important， dragging her into a world in chaos。 He made her feel like she was stupid because he let her hear things。 He didn't out right tell her， expecting her to fall at his feet。 He also manipulated her throughout the book。 He gave bare minimum comments about her and her appearance， making her feel special to hear any time of praise。 He manipulated situations to make it seem like the Night Court attacked unprovoked and finally， he attacked her the night of the fire night。 Now， I understand that he was not in control， but he didn't tell her what was going to happen。 He just told her she wasn't welcome。 He revelled in the fact that if she was there he would have attacked her， making it her fault。 Despite Tamlin， I really enjoyed this book， even the second time around。 I love the stories and characters and loved seeing Rhys and Feyres original relationship， I mean how cute were they。 It was sort of enemies to lovers， which was perfect。 I love an enemies to lovers arch and I think this is one of the first books I've read with this troupe。 。。。more

I will admit that for the entire first half of this book， I was super bored。 Like superrrrr bored。 The plot seemed super contrived and not at all interesting。 I just loved the throne of glass series and this seemed to pale in comparison。 Like， insert cheesy romance here with faeries。 However。 I will take it back because the ending itself makes me think that there is great potential for this series。 First of all， one second this book was moving at a snail pace and the next I was reading it at sup I will admit that for the entire first half of this book， I was super bored。 Like superrrrr bored。 The plot seemed super contrived and not at all interesting。 I just loved the throne of glass series and this seemed to pale in comparison。 Like， insert cheesy romance here with faeries。 However。 I will take it back because the ending itself makes me think that there is great potential for this series。 First of all， one second this book was moving at a snail pace and the next I was reading it at super speed because I was very invested in how it was going to end。 I think maybe this book was to establish the plot line but I feel like the world has a lot of potential。 I'm interested to see where Mass takes this because， at its current state， I'm severely disappointed in our current romance situation going on。 I'm just not a huge fan of Tamlin。 He's boring。 He essentially does nothing to help her by the end of the book besides being silent and brooding and the other guy almost gets himself killed to help her。 I'm rooting for them to happen because it is so much better than the current situation that is going on。 。。。more

Awesome read！ I was pleasantly surprised with the plot of this book - especially since I felt like something was always happening。 Unlike TOG， ACOTAR always has something going in， and there are few moments of deep reflection or segues。 Therefore， this book made me forget that I was reading and even though it ends off without a major cliffhanger， I am desperate to start reading the next book。 Spoiler Warning Ahead！！-I loved loved loved how Sarah grew and described Feyre and Tamlin's relationship Awesome read！ I was pleasantly surprised with the plot of this book - especially since I felt like something was always happening。 Unlike TOG， ACOTAR always has something going in， and there are few moments of deep reflection or segues。 Therefore， this book made me forget that I was reading and even though it ends off without a major cliffhanger， I am desperate to start reading the next book。 Spoiler Warning Ahead！！-I loved loved loved how Sarah grew and described Feyre and Tamlin's relationship。 I know she ends up leaving him in the future， but throughout ACOTAR， their love evolved perfectly and the book ends off on a hopeful note。 ACOTAR describes the perfect fairytale -poor， innocent girl falls in love with powerful guy， later needs to save him in order to prove her love。 The way that Sarah twisted this classic plot to include many darker concepts， she truly sets up the series and characters to hold a lot of potential。-Additionally， I want to state how perfectly the author crafted the conflict。 When we are first introduced to Amarantha， she is portrayed as the most powerful woman in Prythian， and one will assume that the series will revolve around Feyre discovering secrets about her and ultimately defeating her。 We are shocked when Amarantha is killed- this only proves how powerful Feyre is especially since Amarantha seemed to be only an obstacle in her way - now she is headed for bigger， more intense things- which she must face as High Fae alongside Tamlin。 。。。more
