Summary

After the Seelie king Torin nearly froze me to death, I plunged through a portal into my true home。 Turns out, my hometown is a wild Unseelie kingdom known as the Court of Sorrows。 When Torin follows me and sees my new horns, he quickly realizes that his intended bride is an enemy of his realm。 In fact, his name for my kind is "demon。"

But even if I have the horns of an Unseelie, I'm not welcome here, either。 Queen Mab and her monstrous soldiers are delighted to torment us, accusing me of being a traitor。 If we want to get out of the Court of Sorrows with our lives, the only hope we have is to stay as close to each other as possible--even if it means fleeing in horseback and sharing a bed。 Every moment is bittersweet, since it could be our last--and Torin is condemned to kill anyone he loves。

awesome Great series, great characters and an epic story。 A must read, you won’t be disappointed。 You get hooked from the start。

Smut: 1/5 I feel like that might be a little generous。 So much tension in the first book that I felt like it was leading up to some really satisfying scenes。 But one scene I feel like left off mid scene。 When it ended I was left going "what just happened? Where's the rest of the scene? What about him??" The other scene was just ok, nothing spectacular and a little rushed。Story line: 2。5/5THIS PART MAY CONTAIN SPOILERSThere was a lot happening in this book。 And I kind of found myself bored。 How m Smut: 1/5 I feel like that might be a little generous。 So much tension in the first book that I felt like it was leading up to some really satisfying scenes。 But one scene I feel like left off mid scene。 When it ended I was left going "what just happened? Mmm, not buying it。 This book overall just missed the mark for me。 It was ok。 。。。more

LOVED IT!!This conclusion to the story was so EPIC! The whole book was like nonstop action and I absolutely loved it! Couldn’t stop reading! I’m definitely looking forward to any spin-offs!

With the bonus epilogue it’s 4 stars 🧝🏽‍♀️

lovedI absolutely love this mini series。 Such a wonderfully done story with twists and turns I didn’t see coming。 I enjoyed the ride the entire time! Ava and Torin are a wonderful couple that fought so hard together and for each other。 Thank you C。N。 for another amazing book!

Expectations were high after Frost which I devoured last year。 This didn’t quite do it for me as much, but it was a nice way to wrap up the story。 Would have been nice to see a bit more of what came after, maybe a bit more of Shalini and Aeron as well。

4。25。Thisbwas a very entertaining and enjoyable series。 Did it rock my world? Maybe, but in terms of the elements I like in a book of this type it was spot on。There isn't really anything not to like。 Great female MC, good romance, good plot pacing。。。 My first work from。 This author, but I'm off to see if another series hits the spot, too。 4。25。Thisbwas a very entertaining and enjoyable series。 Did it rock my world? Finished Frost within a day and just needed more! Started Ambrosia that day and I was honestly sad when I finished it。 I may just need to reread them both already。

Packed with a lot of heat, fights, and loveWe pick up where we left off。 Our to MC caught in the middle of their own history。 The spice between them is undeniable and patience waiting for them to give in is frustrating。 A web of truths and lies are being told but can our MC out the pieces together before its to late to save the kingdom and their very lives?

felt too rushedLoved that most of the unanswered questions were answered。 But the book felt too rushed。 I didn’t understand having the POV of Ava’s friend was in this book - found myself skimming through her chapters。 Overall all good book。。 will I be thinking about this book once it’s over? No。

Unspokenbooks

È stato un libro lento ma allo stesso tempo la trama troppo veloce。 Mi è comunque piaciuto ma nulla in confronto a Frost

3。5 starsThis book definitely kept me interested from start to finish。 I got some much needed romance out of it, closure for most of the characters, and a HEA。 That said, the writing was just “okay” for me, with so much going on that it was sometimes hard to follow the action。 Overall I enjoyed it though。

I really enjoyed the first book, but this one was very predictable, smut in moments that were unexpected and kinda forced tbh。 I thought about DNF at a bunch of moments。

I did not enjoy this one as much as the first! I feel like this duet would’ve been a grand series with great world building but the opportunity was missed and it felt a little lackluster。

I was so excited to read the Ambrosia。 Book was good but the Frost was better。 Ambrosia was to much action and not enough of romance。 Still satisfying read。 Frost 5 Ambrosia 3⭐。 In general stars。

3。5/5Fun sequel to the first book but found myself just wanting more from it。I would’ve really loved a bit more world building and character development from the Unseelie world and those characters。 With it not being super fleshed out, portions of the plot (especially the evolving dynamic of Ava and Torin) just felt a bit too easy leaving some major events overlooked。In the end, I really enjoyed it and am glad I read this duology, I just didn’t find myself super invested overall 🤷‍♀️

Not as good as Frost, idk why there was so much of Shalini POV, but still worth the read to see the conclusion。

I fell in love with this series from the first chapter of book one, and it just keeps getting better。 The world building is fascinating, and the characters are very well developed。 The storyline is extremely engaging, with many twists in the plot。 It is fast becoming one of my favourite series from this author, I love how morally grey her characters are。 Neither good nor bad, I also love the slow burn enemies to lovers deal。 Especially when they get together only to be driven apart by unforseen I fell in love with this series from the first chapter of book one, and it just keeps getting better。 The world building is fascinating, and the characters are very well developed。 The storyline is extremely engaging, with many twists in the plot。 It is fast becoming one of my favourite series from this author, I love how morally grey her characters are。 Neither good nor bad, I also love the slow burn enemies to lovers deal。 Especially when they get together only to be driven apart by unforseen circumstances, and you sit biting your nails wondering how long before they finally get back together。 C。N。 Crawford is a classic for this, she does it so well。 My favourite thing in this series is the dual point of views, both of our main characters take point in this series。 It adds to the story, giving you that closeness to both characters。 There is one part in the early chapters that scared the living daylights out of me, honestly I'll be having nightmares for a long time now。 I won't say what caused that, because I don't want to touch on any spoilers。 Still nightmares aside, this is a fantastic continuation of an incredible series。 。。。more

I was really really really looking forward to Ambrosia after finishing Frost last year。 I didn’t not like it, but I definitely preferred Frost。 The way everything came together and the tests was a nice touch and I am thankful for the extended epilogue because it gave a little more resolution, which I thought it needed。 There was tension and banter between Ava and Torin in frost and I missed that in Ambrosia。 I did like the whole character shift in Ava where she became more of her own person。 The I was really really really looking forward to Ambrosia after finishing Frost last year。 I didn’t not like it, but I definitely preferred Frost。 The way everything came together and the tests was a nice touch and I am thankful for the extended epilogue because it gave a little more resolution, which I thought it needed。 There was tension and banter between Ava and Torin in frost and I missed that in Ambrosia。 I did like the whole character shift in Ava where she became more of her own person。 There were moments that felt rushed - but there were also moments I enjoyed, like the multi POV so you can see what is happening in both courts。 I just feel like I needed more - I don’t know what I need more of…。 But just more of something。 It was missing something to really grab me and be amazing。 Overall:3。5 ⭐️ 1 🌶️ 。。。more

I enjoyed the first book, but this one really dragged for me。 If it wasn't a sequel, I probably would have DNFed cause I was pretty bored。 But I still wanted to know how it ended。 Idk the plot felt overly busy, but at the same time like nothing was happening。 It felt repetitive to me, like it seems like there's "action," but really they're going in circles again and again。 There was a LOT of showing, not telling。 And it felt like the relationship jumped a lot without a lot of actual development I enjoyed the first book, but this one really dragged for me。 If it wasn't a sequel, I probably would have DNFed cause I was pretty bored。 But I still wanted to know how it ended。 Idk the plot felt overly busy, but at the same time like nothing was happening。 It felt repetitive to me, like it seems like there's "action," but really they're going in circles again and again。 There was a LOT of showing, not telling。 And it felt like the relationship jumped a lot without a lot of actual development of it。 Also I didn't find Shahini's POV very interesting。 And I usually LOVE the villain。 But Moira just was so cliche and not interesting to me。 She just didn't have much depth as a villain and it made the whole thing feel a little lack luster to me。 Below are some more specific examples, but with some light spoilers。 (view spoiler)[It felt like it was escape-capture over and over。 I mean。。。 between the two plot lines it seriously happened like 4 times? Too much whiplash。 And like we make progress and then backtrack。 And I know at the end she kinda explained the "point" of it, but that didn't make it better when I was reading it。 It felt like all the sudden she went from no magic to an expert magic wielder。 And it was just unbelievable to me。 Also。。。 ok this is petty。 But she used the Rhys line from ACOTAR of "There you are。 I've been looking for you。" And it's not like SMJ owns the line or anything, but I really didn't feel like it even fit the situation。。。 like Torin has been contained the whole time。。。 he hasn't been looking for him? If anything, SHE was looking for HIM。 I just feel like she threw it in because that line has a cult ACOTAR following, but it had the opposite effect for me and gave me the ick, like she was trying to make something work that was not working。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

Campy funThese books are what they are, and I enjoy the hell out of it! This series is a step above some similar ones out there。 Tropes are still there (one bed) but deployed in a fun and easy way。

I can’t remember the first book 100% but I could have sworn it was just her curse not that her eyes were physically damaged。 If you know the answer please let me know!!

Like, come on! Who wants to read that for 75% off the book。 I wanted character development between these two。 Don’t even get me started on the Shalini POV chapters。 I like her enough as a side character to Ava but her chapters added nothing! I found myself getting frustrated and started skimming ahead to Ava/Torin chapters and then getting worried when I realized the book was almost over。 Way too much was rushed and covered at the end。 The book needed to “breathe” & relish some of the accomplishments by Ava/Torin。 I hope no one was waiting for a heated reunion scene, marriage, coronation or anything pleasant that romance readers love cause it’s just not there。 And no, I don’t count the quickie before Torin leaves Ava through the mirror。 There was no heat。 How could they even think of that after being starved and tortured and probably foul smelling。 Where was the promise of a Beltane pleasure session with Ava?? I like these writers… a lot。 I’ve devoured the Agent of Enchantment series and Frost。 Maybe that’s why I’m disappointed and frustrated with this long awaited sequel。 I’m sad it’s over and I’m unfulfilled。 😢 。。。more

Ambrosia-book 2 of Frost and Nectar。 Crawford wrote this book spicy and exciting。 I loved the magical imagery, the emotional journey, Example: She made the giant butterfly who was strong, masculine, and brutal (what?) grow a soft spot for the estranged sister he could not begin to understand。 Plus, I am always here for a happy ending。I am conflicted。 The villains in these books did really bad stuff。 So did the "flawed heros。" I found myself sympathetic to the pain inflicted on the villains almos Ambrosia-book 2 of Frost and Nectar。 Crawford wrote this book spicy and exciting。 I loved the magical imagery, the emotional journey, Example: She made the giant butterfly who was strong, masculine, and brutal (what?) grow a soft spot for the estranged sister he could not begin to understand。 Plus, I am always here for a happy ending。I am conflicted。 The villains in these books did really bad stuff。 So did the "flawed heros。" I found myself sympathetic to the pain inflicted on the villains almost as much as what the main characters endured。 The plot was a strong continuation of Frost but the feels were different。I can recommend these books if you have a fantasy addiction like me 。。。more

I really had high hopes for this book, it wasnt horrible, just seemed rushed with little details, like they were just here, then there。 Like running from enemies in the forest who are on their tails (who can also fly) yet they reach the woods and bam。 Find a house。 Enemies gone。 The house has food。 Thats not expired。 Bam。 Then, the battle with the Unseelie Queen。 Shes forgiven for torturing and kiddnapping。 Yet they hate Moria for being traumatized that he killed her sister and was abused by her I really had high hopes for this book, it wasnt horrible, just seemed rushed with little details, like they were just here, then there。 Like running from enemies in the forest who are on their tails (who can also fly) yet they reach the woods and bam。 Find a house。 Enemies gone。 The house has food。 Thats not expired。 Bam。 Then, the battle with the Unseelie Queen。 Shes forgiven for torturing and kiddnapping。 Yet they hate Moria for being traumatized that he killed her sister and was abused by her father… AND HE DIDN’T EVEN TRY TO EXPLAIN TO MORIA WHAT HAPPENED。 Not to mention, there was no mention of any of his people not accepting her。 As soon as they get back the curse is broken。 No issues。 No plot or development in this one。 Then after the curse is broken and she wakes up bro and new mom just waving casually of the window, after she done slaughtered half their court。 Just crazy sh** going on with no explanation。 Was a quick read but wasnt captivating。 Gave three stars because I loved the first book so much。 。。。more
