Le di una segunda oportunidad a Sidney Sheldon y esta vez salio bien :）。 La historia gira en torno a la venganza de una mujer， luego de ser encarcelada por un crimen que no cometió。 A lo largo del libro se va curtiendo en el mundo de las estafas y parece tener un gran ingenio para eso。Es una historia muy dinámica， aunque mas hacia el final se me estaba volviendo un poco repetitiva。 Sin embargo fue una lectura rápida y amena， un lugar divertido a donde llevar la cabeza。

voy a empezar de lo mejor a lo peor porque tengo muchas cosas para decir。destaco， como cada vez que lei a sidney sheldon， su facilidad para contar una historia y mantener la intriga sin importar la trama o lo que este pasando。 tambien la creacion de personajes， aunque termina siendo tediosa la cantidad exagerada de los mismos: no ayudan a la fluidez de la novela y mucho menos si es policial。tambien es interesante el punto de vista planteado desde la victima que se transforma en criminal， aunque voy a empezar de lo mejor a lo peor porque tengo muchas cosas para decir。destaco， como cada vez que lei a sidney sheldon， su facilidad para contar una historia y mantener la intriga sin importar la trama o lo que este pasando。 tambien la creacion de personajes， aunque termina siendo tediosa la cantidad exagerada de los mismos: no ayudan a la fluidez de la novela y mucho menos si es policial。tambien es interesante el punto de vista planteado desde la victima que se transforma en criminal， aunque narrado siempre en tercera persona omnisciente。fuera de eso， pocas mas cosas que sean positivas。desde la primera hasta la ultima pagina hay errores groseros de falta de coherencia， enumerando unos cuantos: que alguien se abra una cuenta de banco sin dni， que puedan ir de un pais al otro y hacer un monton de tramites importantes con dni y pasaporte trucho sin que nadie se de cuenta， que la protagonista sea tan imbecil en un principio de caer en una trampa tonta para despues convertirse en la mejor criminal del mundo， que una condena de 15 años por presunto robo e intento de homicidio se reduzca a menos de un año por la razon mas estupida que se te ocurra， entre muchos otros mas。esto， inevitablemente， se deriva tambien en la trama， porque es demasiado forzoso como el autor busca una manera de que todo resulte a favor de la protagonista。 no es entretenido leer una escena de un crimen sabiendo que no va a terminar siendo descubierta， es mas un "a ver como se la rebusca para que todo encaje perfectamente en la narrativa"。 ademas， la historia， durante 200 paginas de las 340 en total， parece que ira alrededor de la venganza de la protagonista contra quienes quisieron arruinarla， y no solo esta venganza resulta aburrida， ridicula e inconclusa， sino que luego cuenta todo el resto de su vida como millonaria por haber empezado a robar， cosa que no tenia absolutamente NADA que ver con la trama inicial。 son dos libros distintos， ni si quiera los personajes se mantienen。 una decepcion total de un autor del que ya habia leido 3 o 4 libros y ninguno bajaba de los 8 puntos， me esperaba cualquier cosa menos esto 。。。more

the first half of the book was just so heartbreaking omg 3 the prison life， tracy being raped， ernestine being the protector of tracy， big bertha scaring everyone， amy being the adorable little child she is。。。 its a rollar coaster of emotions and tracy whitney's character development was astonishing， she went from the naïve little girl to an independant woman- i love that about her！！now the second half when she starts her life as a con artist is just such a 180 from the first half？？？ its slightl the first half of the book was just so heartbreaking omg 3 the prison life， tracy being raped， ernestine being the protector of tracy， big bertha scaring everyone， amy being the adorable little child she is。。。 its a rollar coaster of emotions and tracy whitney's character development was astonishing， she went from the naïve little girl to an independant woman- i love that about her！！now the second half when she starts her life as a con artist is just such a 180 from the first half？？？ its slightly more lighthearted， joyful and brimmed with passion。 when jeff stevens was introduced i couldnt stop gasping as i had read 'chasing tomorrow' first and i sorta regret that now but i didnt realise my library had 'if tomorrow comes' until like the day before yesterday。。。 anyways going off topic rn so let me revert right back。。。 jeff brings so many complex emotions in tracy and i love the subtle contrasts between jeff and charles like its just- sidney sheldon is truly such an inspiration as a thriller author like， who else writes like that？？？i absolutely loved it and im very sure i'll be rereading it again very time soon and i realise this has been one of the longest reviews ive ever written。。。 sooo。。。 yay me ！！！ 。。。more
