2。5 ⭐️This book was so incredibly frustrating。At first because everyone in this universe besides Fourth Kingdom is so f***ing evil， it is insane。 Not a single good person。 Starting off the book in Queen Kaila's POV made me mad already。Then， the story was so long for no reason。 Nothing happened in this book。 For most of this book。 Though that is true for Glint as well。 I think that this author is someone who reads books and then wants more of the book characters: all of their thoughts and experie 2。5 ⭐️This book was so incredibly frustrating。At first because everyone in this universe besides Fourth Kingdom is so f***ing evil， it is insane。 Not a single good person。 Starting off the book in Queen Kaila's POV made me mad already。Then， the story was so long for no reason。 Nothing happened in this book。 For most of this book。 Though that is true for Glint as well。 I think that this author is someone who reads books and then wants more of the book characters: all of their thoughts and experiences。 And that is what she gives you with Auren when it is so unnecessary。 Auren getting comfortable with herself and her magic lasted from around lage 120 to 600。 It was so annoying。 And then peppered with sex scenes。Lastly， the end of this book made me sick。 Seriously the people in this universe are so awfully evil。 SPOILER -> The trial was the most frustrating event ever， it was a complete farce。 The sex scenes were the best in this book though。 Only plus。 Also， Osrik and Rissa。 As always， I hate Malina so much。 。。。more

This is the fourth book of the plated prison we series and oh。 My。 God。 So it started out very fast paced and good。 I do feel like the middle was slow and I just wanted to fast forward to the action。 But then the last 30% of the book was so amazing but incredibly heart wrenching。 I can not wait for the fifth book to come out。 Also， the spice was 🌶️🌶️🌶️

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 What an absolute waste of time 🤧🤧🤧 600 pages of reading about people marching in a winter wasteland and a girl whining about her powers。 This could have been 600 pages shorter。 The ending was interesting but did not nearly make up for how boring the rest of the book was。 This feels like the filler that we never asked for in this series and I really did not appreciate it。

This book was dense。 I think the 3rd book in the series is still my favorite in terms of the intrigue and the character development but I am genuinely excited for the final book。
