This volume began a trend of several mediocre books with repetitive plots。 Rozemyne casts blessings， starts trends， and mixes with novels all causing headaches for her guardians。（ Rinse， lather and repeat with Rymsham。）

As Rozemyne's first year at the academy comes to its end， she's got plenty to do in her own dutchy before returning to school to inadvertently terrorize her teachers and peers。 And despite her best efforts， she's going to have to attend a few social gatherings 。 。 。So this volume is kind of all over the place， in a good way。 We're getting a lot more of what's going on back home， including the usual High Bishop duties， Rozemyne starting to expand her printing empire to other parts of her dutchy， As Rozemyne's first year at the academy comes to its end， she's got plenty to do in her own dutchy before returning to school to inadvertently terrorize her teachers and peers。 And despite her best efforts， she's going to have to attend a few social gatherings 。 。 。So this volume is kind of all over the place， in a good way。 We're getting a lot more of what's going on back home， including the usual High Bishop duties， Rozemyne starting to expand her printing empire to other parts of her dutchy， and some good detail on several of her retainers。 Then there's the school parts， where Rozemyne proves yet again that no matter how much her family and friends try to contain the likely damage， she'll always find a way around whatever safeguards they've got in place。And somehow it never occurred to me that some goodbyes would be necessary。 Myne has been hanging on to her lower city connections for dear life 。 。 。 but that isn't the life she leads anymore。 Right now she's old enough that talks about her marriage have already started。 Though Sylvester isn't completely disregarding her opinions， this is going to be a political marriage through and through。 Can't say I'm fond of her husband-to-be， though。Overall this is another fantastic volume。 The series continues to flesh out its characters and world， but it stays accessible。 It's funny and heart-wrenching in turns， and if Myne is constantly outside her own comfort zone， she's forcing everyone else out of theirs too。 I rate this Highly Recommended。See my reviews and more at https://offtheshelfreviews。wordpress。。。。 。。。more

My first review for this series that i love so much。 What can i say。 Each instalment has me gripped， sometimes laughing， sometimes moved。 Its always interesting to see how far the characters have come and what Myne/Rozemyne will “come up with” next。 Can they handle the duchy of Ahrensbachs antagonism？ Without giving away too much， the bit i find most exciting in this volume is Myne finding a “bookworm friend”。 What possibilities will that open up？If you read the Bookworm series you probably know My first review for this series that i love so much。 What can i say。 Each instalment has me gripped， sometimes laughing， sometimes moved。 Its always interesting to see how far the characters have come and what Myne/Rozemyne will “come up with” next。 Can they handle the duchy of Ahrensbachs antagonism？ Without giving away too much， the bit i find most exciting in this volume is Myne finding a “bookworm friend”。 What possibilities will that open up？If you read the Bookworm series you probably know that it doesn’t always move very fast and that open conflict isn’t always prevalent。 The same is true for this volume， but as with many of the others， there are always more than enough interesting developments in this little world to keep us entertained。I look forward to the next instalment in December！ 。。。more

Love it！Another great entry in the series。 This one maybe had less action but I liked it more。 It had so many laugh out loud parts which were needed as a break from the parts which made me cry。 I cried several times。 The author is so good at bittersweet moments。 The ending though left me so nervous for the next book。 I needs it now！

A great addition to the series in which we see some of the ugliness of society and the consequences of getting older。 If you got this far in the series there is little to say。 The book shines in its world building and characters， it does not have much action and its cast might be a tad big （at least there is a name list at the start of the book）。 As always eagerly looking forward to the next part。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 快追上台版進度了⋯之後又要等待了QQ這集看到約定與離別的部份讓我很揪心，幸好後面有成長的多莉讓整個感覺調節，也有路茲的視角讓約定的部份又多了一些補充班諾等人對於梅茵可能會發生哪些事情，以平民的身分而言真的蠻有先見之明的，真是厲害的大人呢吉魯跟路茲從以前的關係，到現在可以產生共鳴的情誼也讓人覺得很欣慰
