Summary

This is the 3rd time I have read the Goblet of Fire。 It was the first HP book I read back in the day。 After reading it， I went back and read the first three。 It is one of my favourites， as it has so many characters in it。。。。and I am a big supporter of international magical cooperation。 It is a great HP to read over the holidays because of the Yule Ball！ I received the new HP and the Order of the Phoenix for Christmas this year！！ These illustrated HP books are amazing。 I love Jim Kay's perspectiv This is the 3rd time I have read the Goblet of Fire。 It was the first HP book I read back in the day。 After reading it， I went back and read the first three。 It is one of my favourites， as it has so many characters in it。。。。and I am a big supporter of international magical cooperation。 It is a great HP to read over the holidays because of the Yule Ball！ I received the new HP and the Order of the Phoenix for Christmas this year！！ These illustrated HP books are amazing。 I love Jim Kay's perspective on the scenes and characters。 I would recommend buying these large illustrated versions as they add to what is already a fantastic reading experience， and you can hand them down to future generations！ 。。。more

This book is definitely one of my favorite books， and is by far my favorite Harry Potter book。 I highly recommend this book， as well as the rest of the Harry Potter books。 Despite it being long， it was so entertaining that it was difficult to put it down。 Overall， it is an astonishing book， and I recommend that everyone reads this at least once in their lifetime。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Thrilling， infuriating， profound， and still in the end hopeful。 The parts that especially resonated on this re-read were those about how the threat of Voldemort—an unimaginable evil—can bring out both the best and worst in people。 We see the best in Dumbledore’s determination to confront Voldemort and his call for unity and friendship， in Harry’s bravery， and in the people who love and support Harry—Ron， Hermione， Mrs。 Weasley， the Weasley twins， Hagrid， and more。 And we see the worst in Mr。 Cro Thrilling， infuriating， profound， and still in the end hopeful。 The parts that especially resonated on this re-read were those about how the threat of Voldemort—an unimaginable evil—can bring out both the best and worst in people。 We see the best in Dumbledore’s determination to confront Voldemort and his call for unity and friendship， in Harry’s bravery， and in the people who love and support Harry—Ron， Hermione， Mrs。 Weasley， the Weasley twins， Hagrid， and more。 And we see the worst in Mr。 Crouch’s extreme and merciless approach to the Death Eaters—his willingness to ally himself with Dementors and throw even his own family under the bus。 On the opposite side， we see the worst as Minister Fudge refuses to believe Voldemort could have returned—because it would destabilize his career and comfort—and instead mobilizes to lie about Harry and rein in Dumbledore。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Die battle tussen Harry en Vollie is wel vet geschreven aan het einde。 Goed verfilmd ook dat。 Kan wel waarderen hoe veel beter Krenck Juniors verhaal wordt verantwoord in het boek， met oa hoe hij Azkaban is ontsnapt。 Ook nice hoe goed Droebels argumenten zijn voor het niet herrezen zijn van Voldemort。 Wel beetje wappie， maar alsnog begrijpelijk。 En Snapes dubbelrol wordt al geteased in dit boek， ook nice

This was much better than the film in my opinion because there was a lot more information of the ‘why’ things happened。 In the film， there was quite a bit that was left to interpretation so I know actually know lots more。 Easy， fun listen to the audiobook。 Looking forward to order of the Phoenix and patiently waiting for more of Ginny！
