Each famous five book had the potent capacity to give serious goosebumps。 Each brought its own unique plot, twists, and storylines that kept you hooked。 Undoubtedly the best of Enid Blyton。

Enid blyton berhasil membuat pembaca sangat kesal pada tokoh baru dalam cerita ini, namun respek pada akhir cerita。Petualangan tidak terduga yang cukup mendebarkan!

As a teen, Enid Blyton's works are clearly your go-to books if you desire to while away your time。 Sadly for me, I was never serious about reading then & chose reading as a hobby while at university。 So recently, at a book exhibition, when I got an opportunity to buy one of Enid's novels, I was elated。 I really couldn't help myself with not purchasing it。 Experience this novel without reasoning as to whatever will fit wherever。I got the illustrated version & I must say the pictures assist in bui As a teen, Enid Blyton's works are clearly your go-to books if you desire to while away your time。 Sadly for me, I was never serious about reading then & chose reading as a hobby while at university。 So recently, at a book exhibition, when I got an opportunity to buy one of Enid's novels, I was elated。 I really couldn't help myself with not purchasing it。 Experience this novel without reasoning as to whatever will fit wherever。I got the illustrated version & I must say the pictures assist in building a graphic plot to further savor the book。 Children/adolescents are surely gonna like this one more than the mere textual production one。 The overall novel-writing form is eloquent & the plot unusual。 Though I began with #8 in the series, other than the five's connection, I didn't truly miss anything from the earlier ones。The events at the commencement for the five kids to commence a trip look a little too absurd; but, I think the narrative wouldn't have grown as it did。 I am not positive I'll re-read this one; yet, I believe the youngsters might savor it。 Seems like a fine buddy-read book if anyone is into mystery/adventure reads。 。。。more

This one is a fabulous Blyton。 So much requires suspension of disbelief from the general plot to small details (such as why can't Julian or Dick fit into the boot of a Bentley but Richard can。)There's the signs of the "glorious leader"Julian I remember: conceited, arrogant and controlling。One other mystery is is "tinned shortbread" shortbread in tin box or in a can that requires an opener。 This one is a fabulous Blyton。 So much requires suspension of disbelief from the general plot to small details (such as why can't Julian or Dick fit into the boot of a Bentley but Richard can。)There's the signs of the "glorious leader"Julian I remember: conceited, arrogant and controlling。One other mystery is is "tinned shortbread" shortbread in tin box or in a can that requires an opener。 。。。more

I initially thought that I hadn't read this entry in the Famous Five series before, but as the story progressed, I found that I did actually remember quite a few of the plot points。 (i。e。 the Bentley, the screech owls around Owl's Dene, Owl's Dene itself) so I'm guessing that I must have read this and just forgotten it in the meantime。 (probably not so unusual, given the fact that I likely read it thirty years ago。) This was an exciting book, involving mistaken identities and kidnap plots among I initially thought that I hadn't read this entry in the Famous Five series before, but as the story progressed, I found that I did actually remember quite a few of the plot points。 (i。e。 the Bentley, the screech owls around Owl's Dene, Owl's Dene itself) so I'm guessing that I must have read this and just forgotten it in the meantime。 (probably not so unusual, given the fact that I likely read it thirty years ago。) This was an exciting book, involving mistaken identities and kidnap plots among other things。 The Famous Five are really in a fix in this one。 It was a thrilling ride which I know I will enjoy again in the future。 。。。more

It was nice to see more involvement of characters more rarely spoken about。 In this book it was Dick。 The reason for the two stars is because it was confusing at times what was happening and the concept of time was a bit messy。 At some point there had been many chapters and like the way the rest of the books had followed I assumed it was several days later but towards the character said something along the lines of "You have only been here a day。" to Julian。 Still having read the blurb to the ne It was nice to see more involvement of characters more rarely spoken about。 In this book it was Dick。 The reason for the two stars is because it was confusing at times what was happening and the concept of time was a bit messy。 At some point there had been many chapters and like the way the rest of the books had followed I assumed it was several days later but towards the character said something along the lines of "You have only been here a day。" to Julian。 Still having read the blurb to the next book I continue to look forward to the sequel。 It would be nice to see more of Anne in these books she seems to be a character in the background at the moment。 。。。more

It was a plot point! Richard is the son of some rich man and he’s irresponsible and idiotic and the children are okay with him but find him a bit silly。 He leaves and the children upon setting up camp decide they need food。 Julian and George go to find said food with Timmy。 They find a horrible farm and leave pretty quick。 However in the meantime Ann and dick left at camp meet a panicked Richard who’s running from someone。 Richard wants Timmy and runs off as quick as he appears leaving dick and Ann puzzled。 Ann climbs a tree (proving she can be tough - for a *sneer* girl。) to try and spot Richard。 Dick on the ground is mistaken for Richard and dragged off, leaving Ann in a tree with nothing but the night and the name of a house。。。 Anyway I’m not going to reiterate the whole plot but the four and Richard hunt down dick and they all get into a whole lot of trouble。 Some interesting themes on loyalty, friendship, brevity and how you can be surprised by someone you have judged。 Not bad。 。。。more
