Finally， some representation for India aimed towards little readers。 Jasbinder Bilan has compiled an informative guidebook for young readers about India。 There is a beautiful two-page spread map of India， alongside 70+ pages of journeying through the country and some of festivals， traditions， landmarks and history。 To be frank， even as an adult this was excellent and totally enjoyable （and you'll certainly want to visit by the time you're finished reading！）。 My only complaint， and I notice this Finally， some representation for India aimed towards little readers。 Jasbinder Bilan has compiled an informative guidebook for young readers about India。 There is a beautiful two-page spread map of India， alongside 70+ pages of journeying through the country and some of festivals， traditions， landmarks and history。 To be frank， even as an adult this was excellent and totally enjoyable （and you'll certainly want to visit by the time you're finished reading！）。 My only complaint， and I notice this has been pretty universal across reviews for this book， is that there are actually no photos of India in here - there are illustrations throughout， and beautiful ones， but I would have really liked a few pictures of the "real" India， not just hand-drawn depictions。 Nevertheless， I think this choice was to make the book more accessible for children and perhaps this is me casting my eye across it as an adult reader， but perhaps as a bibliography that would have been nice。 ARC provided from the publishers in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more
