Definitely my favorite erotic fantasy series for sure! It’s gotten me into this new and awesome kind of genre, and I’m always looking for more :)

Mixed feelings。 The story and characters were well written, and I thoroughly enjoyed the series。 My issue is the change in writing towards the end of the series。 The author went from telling a fantasy story with sex as a minor part, to erotic writing with the story suffering because of it。 I am in no way prudish, but it was excessive and unnecessary。 Brought a 5 star potential down to 3。

Amazing storyline and characters。 I love this series so much。 It says two more in the series and I can’t wait for them。 I highly recommend this book and series。

A fun series that takes a unique take on the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale。 An enticing world that's as sinister as it is appealing。 Whatever a reader is looking for -- heart-in-throat action, deadly romance, double crossing, moral complexity, it's all in there -- this series is one heck of a ride。 Highly Recommended! Absolutely loved this series。 All I could do was try to read as much as I could and listen to them on audio because I desperately wanted to know what happened。 I would definitely read these again I loved them so much。

Hi! A Court Of Thorns And Roses series by Sarah J。 Mass is arguably the most hyped up fantasy series ever。 (It’s a YA series for 15 years olds and up。) So, I (obviously), gave in to the hype and read it。 And, well, I was not disappointed。 It took me less than a week to complete this series, it was THAT addictive。 And five books of more than 500 pages each on an average is no joke。 I cried, laughed and fell in love with the characters and the world。I’m aware that there have been more than enough Hi! A Court Of Thorns And Roses series by Sarah J。 Mass is arguably the most hyped up fantasy series ever。 (It’s a YA series for 15 years olds and up。) So, I (obviously), gave in to the hype and read it。 And, well, I was not disappointed。 It took me less than a week to complete this series, it was THAT addictive。 And five books of more than 500 pages each on an average is no joke。 I cried, laughed and fell in love with the characters and the world。I’m aware that there have been more than enough reviews on this series (ACOTAR) with plenty of spoilers so in my post, I’ll be focusing on why you should read this series and whether or not you would like it (no spoilers, as usual)。The Plot/SummaryWhen nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it。 Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin- one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world。 As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she’s been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae。 But an ancient, wicked shadow over the faerie lands is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it… or doom Tamlin, and his world, forever。Why you should read this book*The writing and world building is just fabulous。 I was never confused or thrown in a loop。 I was able to follow the storyline perfectly and loved that it was a fast-paced series with no drawn out parts。 If you like action-packed fantasy series, with a good amount of romance mixed in with found family and hilarious moments, this series is for you!*The characters the author created were so complex and human-like (well, fae-like, I don’t know), you can’t help but fall in love with them。 There were no controlling male main characters you so often see in books dominating over the female main character and passed off as romantic。 The males characters, while dominant, never ever tried to control the female characters or make decisions for them。 It was one of the biggest selling points of this series for me。 Also, the female characters were just as powerful, if not more, than the male characters。*I ended this series with tears in my eyes。 Happy ones, for a change。 There’s never been a fantasy series where I could think of a more perfect ending than this one。 There were plenty of loose ends but they were stories waiting to be finished rather than sloppy writing。 I know that the last of my favorite characters will find happiness (though I would LOVE to read another novella(s) on it)。I would say this is a definite 5 star read。 Maybe not one I would re-read but it took me on an amazing journey nonetheless。 I will definitely be trying out other series by the author!I definitely recommend this series to you。 This is one of those cases where the series has been hyped up because readers love it genuinely! I recommend looking up trigger warnings beforehand though nothing is too graphic。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 The story itself started really well, definitely one of my favourite series。 I was a bit discouraged with the fourth book but I guessed that was more of a filler for some needed information。 Fifth book, a court of silver flames, redeemed the series for me 100%

Love this series a lot and look forward to rereading it soon! Awesome fae retelling of beauty and the beast。

Rebecca

Loved it mostly。 However i found the novella a bit slow, although it was a great lead up to Nesta and the story of a Court of Silver flames。 Rhysand forever though!

I feel like previous covers had more soul in them, new ones feel like ACOTAR books either went up a step and joined adult fantasy section among Game of Thrones & Tolkien or just became more distant。 I feel like previous covers had more soul in them, new ones feel like ACOTAR books either went up a step and joined adult fantasy section among Game of Thrones & Tolkien or just became more distant。 。。。more

I loved the books! The story, the feelings, the emotional rollercoaster (the endings of the books, etc。), the characters and just everything。 BUT the fourth book。 What the fuck was that? I mean, I loved that there were different POV‘s and I love setting BUT WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE ENDING, okay???? I didn‘t want to give it 5 stars because I feel sorry for every reader who had to wait 2 years for the fifth book。 SO so sorry。 I was so angry and dissatisfied and disappointed。 I was lucky that I go I loved the books!
