الكتاب مكتوب عليه أنه رواية و لكن هو ليس برواية فروايات لا تخلو من الخيال لكن كل ما في هذا الكتاب هو الحقيقة و هذا أكثر شيء مؤلم في هذا الكتاب。كتاب عبارة عن كتاب تاريخي و وثائقي لما حدث في اليابان قبل و في أثناء و بعد القنبلتين النوويتين كتاب تناول فيه قصص الضحايا و الأطباء و الساسيين و الكيميائيين و كذلك الأبنية و الأشجار 。الأهم النقاط الأساسية التي لفتت نظري:١_على رغم من قوة قنبلة هوريشيما إلا أنها وصفت من قبل صانعيها على أنها فاشلة ！٢_صوت نقر صادر من عظام ساقا رجل تم بترهما في الانفجار。٣_رجل الكتاب مكتوب عليه أنه رواية و لكن هو ليس برواية فروايات لا تخلو من الخيال لكن كل ما في هذا الكتاب هو الحقيقة و هذا أكثر شيء مؤلم في هذا الكتاب。كتاب عبارة عن كتاب تاريخي و وثائقي لما حدث في اليابان قبل و في أثناء و بعد القنبلتين النوويتين كتاب تناول فيه قصص الضحايا و الأطباء و الساسيين و الكيميائيين و كذلك الأبنية و الأشجار 。الأهم النقاط الأساسية التي لفتت نظري:١_على رغم من قوة قنبلة هوريشيما إلا أنها وصفت من قبل صانعيها على أنها فاشلة ！٢_صوت نقر صادر من عظام ساقا رجل تم بترهما في الانفجار。٣_رجل أراد أن يوصل عظام زوجته إلى والديها بعد زوج أمتد لعشرة أيام فقط 。٤_طفلة الناجية من القنبلة في عمر السنتين و بعد ذلك تمرض و تعاني اللوكيميا في سن 12 سنه مع الف لقلق ورقي 。٥_أم تطلب مساعدة طبيب لإنقاذ ابنها و لا تدرك أن ابنها اصبح بلا رأس 。٦_ الجينرال حافي القدمين و قصته التي أصبحت سلسلة مانحا باسم جن حافي القدمين 。٧_تكتم الناجين عن هويتهم أولاً بسبب ضغط سياسي و معاهدة لإخفاء بشاعة ما حدث و ثانيًا حتى لا يكونوا منبوذين من الناس حولهم و كأن ما عانوه بسبب القنبله لم يكن كافي فلم يكن أحد يريد الزواج منهم أو أن يوظفهم 。٨_خوف أم من ابنتها بعد أن احترقت من الانفجار و وصفها لها بالوحش و تركها وحدها تعاني الألم و برد و الوحدة و و هي تنادي أمي أمي ، لتعتني بها امرأة غريبة عنها و تدفنها بعد موتها لتعيش الأم بعد ذلك مع ذنب لا يحتمل طول عمرها 。 ما يعيب الكتاب قليلًا من وجهة نظري هو انتقال الكاتب من فقرة لأخرى و من حدث إلى أخر دون ترتيب معين كان سوف يكون أفضل لو أن الكاتب نظم فقرات الكتاب بشكل أفضل ، لكن عدا ذلك الكتاب مهم يوضح فعلاً حقيقة ما جرى للبشر و شجر و الحيوان و الأبنية و حتى نفسية الضحايا ، كتاب يحمل بين دفتيه الكثير و الكثير من الدموع و الألم و المعاناة و لكن أيضاً الكثير من الصبر و التسامح و السلام 。 。。。more

I’m speechless about this one， it really had a huge impact on me I’ll even write my college research assignment about it。 The whole idea of war and how it effected so many lives is truly unbelievable。。 I’ll never understand the reason behind all this cruelty。 Ofc I heard about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki before but it’s so different when you know what happened to people there by hearing it from the survivors themselves， they lived after that horrifying incident and they lost th I’m speechless about this one， it really had a huge impact on me I’ll even write my college research assignment about it。 The whole idea of war and how it effected so many lives is truly unbelievable。。 I’ll never understand the reason behind all this cruelty。 Ofc I heard about the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki before but it’s so different when you know what happened to people there by hearing it from the survivors themselves， they lived after that horrifying incident and they lost their loved ones， does even life worth living after that？ I can’t imagine the mental and physical pain they went through for the rest of their lives， yet they told the story of what had happened and they were a big part of history， and i hope from the bottom of my heart that what happened there won’t happen again， ever。 。。。more

I read a different edition: “To Hell and Back: The Last Train From Hiroshima”。 It is a revised version after the first， withdrawn version， that corrects the errors in the first version。 It’s a shame that I can’t find that edition on Goodreads。 This is an excellent book that documents in detail what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 when the US dropped nuclear bombs on Japan。 There is the perspective of those who flew on the planes， the reaction of the Japanese government， but mos I read a different edition: “To Hell and Back: The Last Train From Hiroshima”。 It is a revised version after the first， withdrawn version， that corrects the errors in the first version。 It’s a shame that I can’t find that edition on Goodreads。 This is an excellent book that documents in detail what happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945 when the US dropped nuclear bombs on Japan。 There is the perspective of those who flew on the planes， the reaction of the Japanese government， but most of all there are the experiences of the survivors， with a focus on nine people who fled Hiroshima for Nagasaki， thus surviving an atomic bomb twice。 The horrific details should be enough to convince anyone that using nuclear weapons is immoral。 If you can’t face the length and detail of this non-fiction book， read “Hiroshima” by John Hershey。 It is an account by a journalist who went to Hiroshima shortly after the surrender to interview survivors。 All the horror is condensed there。 The Hiroshima uranium bomb went off with fewer megatons than expected。 The Nagasaki plutonium bomb actually missed Nagasaki， due to clouds （pilots could not see target）， and landed in a suburb。 From the pilot’s perspective， this was good: they took out the main military targets （various factories） yet missed the city center。 The Nagasaki bomb was about three times as powerful as Hiroshima， yet killed similar numbers of people。 In Hiroshima the bomb blast was followed by fire tornadoes that ravaged the city。 People jumped into the river bisecting the city but fire tornados simply converted to water spouts crossing the river then back to fire tornadoes on the other side。 The river was so choked with bodies that for a time people were crossing the river by walking on corpses。 In Nagasaki， the valley containing the bombed suburb suffered a fire hurricane。 No-one knew （in the US or Japan） the effects of radiation on human bodies。 The Japanese were baffled by “Disease X” in which people with no visible injuries died horribly。 At first they suspected that the Americans had added biological weapons to their new， powerful bomb。 Eventually Japanese doctors changed the name to “atomic bomb disease “。 Because no-one knew about the cumulative effects of radiation or about radioactive fallout， people went back into radioactive areas searching for their families。 Most searchers died。 Many people who survived the initial blast， the resulting firestorms， and initial bouts of radiation sickness died within a year or two of leukemia。 Cancer took almost all the survivors eventually。 No-one knew how to treat radiation sickness， and even if the knowledge existed， the hospitals had been destroyed along with their medical supplies。 Doctors and nurses worked themselves to exhaustion trying to provide palliative care to the dying and to save those they could。 The lingering effects of radiation are why a nuclear bomb is so much worse than conventional bombs with the same number of megatons。The Japanese had atomic scientists who （correctly） estimated how much nuclear material the US was likely to have。 This delayed the surrender of Japan， because after Nagasaki the Japanese military command thought that the US had run out of bombs （they had; it would have taken another two months to make another）。 The Japanese Emperor wanted to surrender， and recorded a speech to that effect。 But extreme militarists in the government refused to let him broadcast it。 There was an attempted military coup， with the Emperor under house arrest， but finally cooler heads in the government prevailed and the surrender was broadcast。 。 I hope sincerely that no-one will be stupid enough to set off another nuclear bomb。 Our good luck in avoiding that for 77 years may not hold。 。。。more

⚠️ this is not a book this is a time machine it threws you right back to the living hell of August 6 ，1945 when an A-bomb was dropped on Hiroshima and 3 days later on Nagasaki 。 The least i can say is that it’s hunting， i’ve had nightmares the whole time I was reading it 。 It provides an up-close view of the horrors witnessed by survivors and the aftermath of it 。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 "أحب جارك كما تحب نفسك"。。القطار الأخير من هيروشيماتشارلز بلغرينو [الناجون ينظرون إلى الخلف] عدد الصفحات: 448سنة الإصدار: 2010الدار العربية للعلوم ناشرون。。[نبذة]هيروشيما وناغازاكي، قصة مدينتين تعرضتا للقصف الذري الأليم。 ففي صباح أحد الأيام -تحديداً السادس من أغسطس عام 1945- كانت سماء هيروشيما صافية وجوها عليل وهادئ يوهم أفرادها بالسكينة والسلام。 حلقت طائرة حربية من طراز B-29 في سماء مدينة هيروشيما فأطلقت من خلالها سلاح غريب مريع。 وفي غضون ثواني معدودة فقط، مُحيت المدينة بالكامل （سميت بأرض الصفر "أحب جارك كما تحب نفسك"。。القطار الأخير من هيروشيماتشارلز بلغرينو [الناجون ينظرون إلى الخلف] عدد الصفحات: 448سنة الإصدار: 2010الدار العربية للعلوم ناشرون。。[نبذة]هيروشيما وناغازاكي، قصة مدينتين تعرضتا للقصف الذري الأليم。 ففي صباح أحد الأيام -تحديداً السادس من أغسطس عام 1945- كانت سماء هيروشيما صافية وجوها عليل وهادئ يوهم أفرادها بالسكينة والسلام。 حلقت طائرة حربية من طراز B-29 في سماء مدينة هيروشيما فأطلقت من خلالها سلاح غريب مريع。 وفي غضون ثواني معدودة فقط، مُحيت المدينة بالكامل （سميت بأرض الصفر كناية بمسح المدينة لتصبح أرض مستوية） وكأنها لم تكن يوماً موجودة。 ولم يكتفي الأمريكان عند هذا الحد، بل اطلقوا قنبلة ذرية أخرى بعد ثلاثة أيام على مدينة ناغازاكي ما أسفر على قتل 39 الف فرد。 。 。 فما الذي حدث خلال الثواني؟。。[رأيي]لا اعتقد بإمكاني إبداء أي رأي اتجاه هذه الحقيقة المفزعة。 سأذكر فقط المشاهد وبإمكانكم معرفة ما يجوب في خاطري الأليم。 。-الكتاب يذكر حقائق علمية ودراسات حقيقية على أرض المدينتين。 فهي ليست رواية كما ذُكر في الغلاف。 ويذكر أيضا المواد الكيميائية والطاقة المستخدمة في تركيب القنبلة الذرية وجزيئاتها。 。-شعرت وكأنني في الجحيم （والعياذ بالله）، إذا كانت هذه جحيم الدنيا فكيف هي الآخرة؟ سواد حالك، نيران حارقة شديدة الحرارة على هيئة ديدان تصل للسماء تتحرك في كل ارجاء المدينة تلتهم كل ما تراه امامها بلا رحمة، السماء تمطر سواداً تقتل كل حي، الأنهار مليئة بالجثث المتعفنة المنتفخة والتي تتحول إلى انفجارات فتخرج ما تحتويه من اعضاء وامعاء، البشر （وهل مازالوا بشراً؟） تحولوا لمسوخ يهوون كمشاة نمل من هول صدمتهم لا يدركون ما يفعلون، فقط يهوون مع القطيع وجلودهم تنسلخ وتتساقط من ابدانهم فتظهر لحومهم وعظامهم ويتقاطر صديد مؤلم من عضلاتهم المكشوفة وترى بعضهم من يتهاوى فيسقط ميتاً وهو لايدرك ما أصاب بدنه، وآخرون خرجت أعينهم من محاجرها تتدلى فوق الوجنتين والمخيف أنها لا تزال تعكس الأضواء فترى، يبكون ويصرخون ومنهم من تسمع أنينهم يلهثون طالبين ماءً يروي حروق جوفهم، ومنهم من أصيب بتقرحات في الجلد فتنمو عليها الديدان وتتكاثر ومهما حاولوا إزالتها تفقص في الجروح غيرها العشرات والعشرات。。فهل تتوقف آثار القنبلة هنا؟ 。للاسف لا، الناجون الذين ظنوا أنفسهم ناجين من الحروق الشديدة، تساقطوا واحداً تلو الأخر بعد عدة أيام، ينزفون دماً ويبصقون دماً فيخرج مع الدم أشلاء من معدتهم وأمعاءهم وتتساقط شعورهم وذلك لسبب تعرض أبدانهم لقوة الوميض （الإشعاع النووي） الذي أدى إلى تقطيع وتفتيت عظامهم واعضاءهم شيئاً فشيئاً。 。ومنهم من أصيب بمرض سرطان الدم （لوكيميا） بعد عدة سنوات وتوفى على أثرها。 ويقال ظهور هذه الأعراض كانت بنفس سرعة الوميض وتتطور بنفس السرعة وتختفي الأعراض بنفس السرعة。 وإلى الآن عجز العلماء من فهم حقيقة هذا الأمر。 。والأشد ألماً، لم يتبقى في المدينة معدات تساعد الأطباء والممرضين الناجين لإسعاف أنفسهم والجرحى。 ولم تصلهم إمدادات من الحكومة إلا بعد فترة طويلة وذلك بسبب ما أحدثتها القنبلة من دمار فصعب الوصول إليهم。 فكانوا يستعينون بما تبقى لديهم من أدوات قليلة علها تساعدهم وتخفف آلامهم ليالي وأيام معدودات。 。نهايةً: أبداً لم يحدث شي！ فقط محت القنبلة الذرية 70 الف فرد في ثواني في مدينة هيروشيما واعدمتهم من الوجود وكأنهم لم يكونوا احياءً قط。 اصبحوا رماداً فاختلطت رمادهم برماد المباني والتربة。 وتساقط عشرات الجرحى فلم يعودوا بشراً كما كانوا。。。وابداً لم يحدث شي، كما ذكر العلماء فإن القنبلة مخيبة للآمال حيث أن انفجارها صُدر منه طاقة أقل من نص طاقتها الحقيقية。 فالقنبلة لم تطلق كل طاقتها。ماذا عساي أن أقوول؟。。كان الكتاب يتنقل بين أولئك الذين شهدوا القنبلة، وبين أولئك الذين ألقوها。 وكأنك تعيش لحظات من الموت البطيء متنقلاً بين السماء والأرض。 وكل على حدى يصور ما رآه وشعر به وعاشه خلال هذه اللحظات المرعبة。 توتر، ألم، خوف، تعب شديد وارهاق من الحقائق الأليمة وكأنني كنت معهم، وظل هذا الأثر باقي في قلبي رغم إنتهائي من الكتاب قبل أسبوع من الآن، ولم استطع كتابة المراجعة مباشرة والسبب أن قلبي مبعثر، مشتت ومتقطع ومتألم وصعب علي كتابة مراجعة تليق بالكتاب。 。。وأترك لكم الساحة، أتصور بأن ما ذُكر سطّر ما يجوبُ في جوفي من ألم، ورأي في الكتاب💔 。。。more

من منا لا يعرف اليابان وماتقدمه من إنجازات؟ منها الأخلاقية المتجسدة في مبدأ الكايزن إضافة إلى الأخلاقيات الحضارية الأخرى。 ومنها الفنية التي تنطلق من خلال فن الإنمي والمانجا، الذي يكشف عن فوج المتابعين له والذي ندرك به فيما بعد أن الرسوم المتحركة لم تعد تُسَلِّي الأطفال فقط。 ومنها التقنية التي تبهرنا بآخر ما أنتجت من ابتكارات، ولشدة هذا الشغف صرنا نعترف بأنه كوكب آخر له غلاف جوي آخر - غير مدركين فيما بعد بأنهم بشر مثلنا ويعيشون معنا في كوكبنا -。وبشكل خاص، من منا لا يعلم عن هذه الحادثة المؤسفة ال من منا لا يعرف اليابان وماتقدمه من إنجازات؟ منها الأخلاقية المتجسدة في مبدأ الكايزن إضافة إلى الأخلاقيات الحضارية الأخرى。 ومنها الفنية التي تنطلق من خلال فن الإنمي والمانجا، الذي يكشف عن فوج المتابعين له والذي ندرك به فيما بعد أن الرسوم المتحركة لم تعد تُسَلِّي الأطفال فقط。 ومنها التقنية التي تبهرنا بآخر ما أنتجت من ابتكارات، ولشدة هذا الشغف صرنا نعترف بأنه كوكب آخر له غلاف جوي آخر - غير مدركين فيما بعد بأنهم بشر مثلنا ويعيشون معنا في كوكبنا -。وبشكل خاص، من منا لا يعلم عن هذه الحادثة المؤسفة التي تعتبر صفعة تاريخية تعلمت اليابان من ألمها فألهمت العالم بتلك التجربة المريرة؟ وكعادة الخسارة، تُعَلِّمُنَا ونحن ظانين بأنها تُحَطِّمُنَا！ هكذا تكون رحلة الكتاب، التي تشوبُ كلماتُهُ بِسَوَادِ هذه الذكرى التي حَلَّت على هيروشيما وناجازاكي في يوم السادس من شهر أغسطس عام 1945 للميلاد。 ونحتفي اليوم بذكراها الخامسة والسبعين。 بينما نرى انفجاراً آخراً مؤسفاً أودى بقلب ميناء بيروت في عام الجائحة！كلما تتردد هذه الحادثة على مسامعي، أتذكر "جين حافي القدمين "。 فيلم الإنمي الموثق لها، الذي يصور لحظة وقوع القنبلة والإنفجار، ويرسمها بطريقة مأساوية وكأن هذه الذكرى في يوم أمس، حيث المشهد الذي لم يسلم منه الطفل الصغير ولا حتى الشيخ الكبير من الشظايا النووية المدمرة！ وُثِّقَت شخصية هذا الفيلم المستوحى من شخصية كيجي ناكازاوا أو الجنرال حافي القدمين الذي كان يلتقط قطعة معدنية في لحظة الصفر！لم يقتصر الحديث عن الناجين القلائل في هذه الحادثة المروعة فحسب。 كان حبر الكيمياء له طريقة أخرى في جعل المأساة تُزِيدُ الطين بِلَّة، ومن هنا ندرك أن الضحايا قتلوا بلا ذنب نتيجة انفجار نووي لم يكن يتوقعوه في يوم من الأيام。 لأرى أن محتوى الكتاب سيفيد المهتمين بعلم الكيمياء بشكل خاص، نظرا لضخامة المحتوى بالعناصر الكيميائية الفائقة والإشعاعات التي تحاول جذب القارئ بمدى خطورة القنابل النووية！فعندما ترى عن مطر أسود يهطل بعد الإنفجار ليشربوا منه فاتحين أفواههم كمحاولة لإنقاذ الحياة بداخلهم، أو عن هروب في محطات القطار لمحاولة التمسك بطوق نجاة يعيدهم لبر الأمان。 أو عن جلودٍ تَفَحَّمَتْ بعدما كانت الإشعاعات تؤدي مهامها بعد لحظات الإنفجار。 هكذا تكون الصورة الواضحة بين هاتين الدَّفَّتَين。 نرى منها مدينة هيروشيما وناجازاكي في مثل تلك الفترة كأعجاز نخل خاوية، سببها جائحة نووية لها أعراضها الصحية على ضحاياها。 وتصبح هذه الذكرى في هذا العمل، مملوءة بالتراجيدية الكيميائية المبكية من نووية هذه القنبلة ！وتنتهي أحداث هذه الرواية بأمل البناء ما بعد الهدم " فكل معاناة الماضي لا تعني شيئا إذا لم نستق العبر منها لبناء عالم أفضل لطفل الغد " وذلك من خلال الحوار الذي دار بين ناغي وأكيزوكي。 حيث يصر الأول أن قوة الذرة كانت هبة موجودة من الأزل ولكننا نحن استخدمناها استخداما خاطئا。 " فالله لم يغير هبات الطبيعة ويفسدها لكن نحن فعلنا ذلك " هذا الاقتباس كان أقرب إلى درس قاس للبشرية لبنائها بعد الهدم。 ثم تصل إلى توالي الأحداث ما بعد جائحة القنبلة الذرية。 إلى وضع الفوانيس التي تمثل ضحية الإنفجار على تلك البحيرة ثم لتوالي الأعمال الأدبية التي استلهمت من هذا الانفجار ومنها فيلم جين حافي القدمين وسلسلة الروايات القادمة منه。 ثم لقبة السلام في مدينة هيروشيما التي توثق هذا الحدث بطريقتها الخاصة。 بكونها معلما سياحيا في جمهورية اليابان الصديقة。 يروي بألم الذكرى مثلما شهدنا في أحداث الرواية وفي سطور التاريخ كذلك。 وبعدما كانت نهاية الأحداث بذكر الملحق عن قائمة الناجين من الحرب وبعض الملاحظات。 كأن هذا الاقتباس الآخر الأغرب في الكتاب هو الذي يبرز صداه في مخيلتي كقارئ لهذه المأساة "أيها الصغار ، علموا آبائكم " 。。。more

The tragedies and atrocities of World War II are now in the history books; and this book， although painful to revisit those darks days at the end of the war， is a reminder that humanity creates amazing and wonderful things， but it also we can destroy ourselves and all hope of a peaceful co-existence on this planet。 Really horrific what happened then and lets hope and pray it should never be repeated again。 Ever！

بقدر ما يحتوى هذا الكتاب على سرد لمآسي وتوثيق لآلام وأحزان لا يمكن أن تشفى ولا حتى يستطيع الزمن الذي يداوي كل شيء إلا هذة الأهوال 。。。 إنه تخليد لذكرى بشرية مآساوية إرتكبها الإنسان في حق الإنسان والحياة إنها حقاً جراح روحية ونفسية قبل ما تكون جسدية، من الذي عانى أكثر أو من هو المحظوظ ؟ أهؤلاء الذي نجوا أم من ماتوا … الإ أنه يرسم لوحات حية للموت والمآسي إنها دعوة لوقف القتال لوقف الدمار للرحمة والإنسانيةعمل عظيم ومجهود كبير جدا لتجميع هذة الروايات والسرد والقصص ولتوخي المصداقية فيها。

من الصعب جداً اتمام هكذا كتاب。 والسبب ليس عدد صفحات أو شدة عمق أو تلغيز。 لا。 السبب هو حجم المعاناة التي يحملها بين طياته。 على مدى سنوات وسنوات وأنا أحاول قراءة هذا الكتاب。 هناك شيء جامع بين الجمال والقبح البشري يجعله محل اهتمامي。 مثل لو انك تراقب الحياة في بطن الموت。
