This is a sweet board book perfect for tots who don't want anything scary in their Halloween fare。 Peter helps his sisters work on a Halloween costume （princess fairies） but runs out of time to work on his own。 Mother Rabbit comes to the rescue with a pumpkin costume for him。 Simple story but illustrations are lovely and very gentle in the Peter Rabbit style with only a few autumn leaves and pumpkins to create the autumn ambiance and no "Halloween" decorations such as ghosts， witches， bats， etc。 This is a sweet board book perfect for tots who don't want anything scary in their Halloween fare。 Peter helps his sisters work on a Halloween costume （princess fairies） but runs out of time to work on his own。 Mother Rabbit comes to the rescue with a pumpkin costume for him。 Simple story but illustrations are lovely and very gentle in the Peter Rabbit style with only a few autumn leaves and pumpkins to create the autumn ambiance and no "Halloween" decorations such as ghosts， witches， bats， etc。 More of a three stars for me now， but there was a time when this book would have been absolutely perfect for my sensitive little ones and it is nice to see a book that fills this need so I bump it to four。 。。。more
