I was enchanted by this lushly-illustrated celebration of dreams， and was prepared to give it a perfect rating， but the wild-animal circus scene caused me to dock it a star。 It is my hope that these inhumane spectacles will indeed fade into the past and will someday be only as real as the "dream animals" scampering through the pages of this book， but currently， they still exist and I really wish they would stop getting so much free advertising in the pages of children's lit。 Other than the circu I was enchanted by this lushly-illustrated celebration of dreams， and was prepared to give it a perfect rating， but the wild-animal circus scene caused me to dock it a star。 It is my hope that these inhumane spectacles will indeed fade into the past and will someday be only as real as the "dream animals" scampering through the pages of this book， but currently， they still exist and I really wish they would stop getting so much free advertising in the pages of children's lit。 Other than the circus scene， this is another delightful little book from Martin featuring whimsical fantasy illustrations。 。。。more
