Fun Read!love this book! So many funny, random facts I never knew! Some facts I would have definitely thought were bullshit if someone just told me。 Would recommend this book to anyone else who loves random crazy facts!

Interesting facts and funny commentary。In regards to the author's bio at the end, I for one would also love an entire book about space facts。 Interesting facts and funny commentary。In regards to the author's bio at the end, I for one would also love an entire book about space facts。 。。。more

Truly fascinating stuffLoved this entire book。 Just fascinating stuff and so much of it I'd never heard。 I kept having to stop and look things up because the entries are sometimes too short and I need more info! The title kind of says it all, but the facts were interesting and the illustrations were amusing。

So much funUse this book to do classes at my senior center。 The seniors love the humor and also love the learning piece。 It’s hard to get everyone engaged and these true or false questions keeps my frail adults from falling asleep。

Kerri

Fun book of facts, some that were truly surprising。 I wish there had been a bit more explanation on some of the facts, but overall, I enjoyed this, and it was a quick read。

Huge Truth or Dare SectionsI think that truth or dare is not a good way to learn。 This book has large sections of truth or dare。

Sharon C。 Robideaux

Too many dubious claimsI found several errors in the book。 For instance, Robert E。 Lee did own slaves。 But I did appreciate the wit and humor of the writing。

george watson

Not a bad bookLots of fun facts to astound your friend s with。 Tends to be a bit clunky at times though。 Entertaining enough。

Kelly Bond

Decent toilet book just enough information to take in at one time

Akshay Misra

was a grat book

Interesting stuff!I loved this! A fast read and interesting! Some facts I swore by were debunked and others piqued my interest to research more! A great read!

Grace Tracey

Some interesting facts and funny commentary。

An amusing view of brief snippets of facts。 For the most part, all the ones that I already knew were presented correctly so it is a pretty good source of facts, but if you want in-depth information you will have to go elsewhere to get it。

True or FalseI was enjoying reading this book of facts when, all of a sudden, its format changed to True or False questions。 This happens many times in the book。 I didn’t get this book to learn false facts, so it was a big disappointment。 The drawing are very juvenile, too。

How did I survive without knowing that goats have regional accents, Frank Sinatra was offered the lead role in Die Hard and that until 2011 beer was categorised as a soft drink in Russia? This book loses a star for the sports section, which is so heavily US oriented that I pretty much skipped it (I wouldn't know whether a fact about baseball or American football is amazing or not)。But otherwise, very entertaining and with lots of "surely not!" moments。 How did I survive without knowing that goats have regional accents, Frank Sinatra was offered the lead role in Die Hard and that until 2011 beer was categorised as a soft drink in Russia? This book loses a star for the sports section, which is so heavily US oriented that I pretty much skipped it (I wouldn't know whether a fact about baseball or American football is amazing or not)。But otherwise, very entertaining and with lots of "surely not!" moments。 。。。more

A very interesting book with stone brilliant facts in it that are worth remembering! However, the sport section is 99% American sport which was very boring。 Apart from that, it was good。

Evil Secret Ninja

This was fun。 I admit that I got it for work because I have become the random fact person so I decided to see if I could find some more interesting facts for my coworkers to be fascinated over。

For the first half of this book I was really enjoying reading the bizarre facts - particularly the space ones。 Then I saw a “fact” I knew to be untrue。 At that point I had to doubt every fact in the book。 Especially when the untrue fact I had from the horse’s mouth while the author was surmising。Then I hit the section on sports and discovered that it was clearly aimed at Americans because it was all about American Football, baseball or basketball with a smattering of ice hockey thrown in。 A coup For the first half of this book I was really enjoying reading the bizarre facts - particularly the space ones。 Then I saw a “fact” I knew to be untrue。 At that point I had to doubt every fact in the book。 Especially when the untrue fact I had from the horse’s mouth while the author was surmising。Then I hit the section on sports and discovered that it was clearly aimed at Americans because it was all about American Football, baseball or basketball with a smattering of ice hockey thrown in。 A couple of golf and tennis facts and 1 about “soccer’ (not bizarre, commonly known in the UK)。Follow this with a couple more untrue facts, a few based on “widely-believed” and then in the notes at the end I discovered the author had garnered his information from Wikipedia。 。。。more

RubbishPointless book。 Just state the facts, what’s with all the true or false nonsense it just spoils the book? Boring

Nick Vantangoli

It’s interesting。。。but very few “wow I’ve never heard that before facts。” Try an “uncle John’s bathroom reader” instead。

Not what I expectedThe book was mostly written as true/false。 Got annoying after a while as that format isn't the best for reading or learning。 Not a good technique in my opinion。 Not what I expectedThe book was mostly written as true/false。 Got annoying after a while as that format isn't the best for reading or learning。 Not a good technique in my opinion。 。。。more
