Summary

Following the events of season one of Netflix's pop-culture sensation Stranger Things, our main characters struggle with returning to normal life after overcoming supernatural horror。

School is back in session in the normally quiet town of Hawkins, Indiana。 Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Will are still grappling with the traumatic encounters with the Demogorgon and the Upside Down in season one of the hit Netflix series。 As tensions rise and fractures begin to form in the group, a new kid shows up to AV club with a Betamax Camcorder and an idea。 The new Spielberg-wannabe friend, Joey Kim, wants to make a horror movie about a local legend, but when he sees Will's drawings, he discovers that his new friends are local legends。

Written by best-selling author Greg Pak (Mech Cadet YuThe Incredible HulkStar Wars: Age of Rebellion) and drawn by Valeria Favoccia (Assassin Creed: ReflectionsDoctor Who: The Tenth Doctor)。

Stranger things zombie boys is about this kid named will and his friends Lucas, Mike, and Dustin。 They shot this movie called zombie boy, but it is about Will。 He came back from upside down, and he has these flashbacks, and while they were shooting a film, he had a flashback, and he was。 in the upside down, and then he came out of the upside down, so basically, he has flashbacks。

Very short but pleasant read; surprisingly packed with a lot of story。 Set between Season 1 & 2, a new kid at school with a Betamax camera makes friend with the gang & recruits them to make a zombie movie, which is triggering for Will。

A must read for any Will Byers fan。

Yeah, this was super cute。 We haven't really revisited the AV club in the show, so it's nice to see Will and the boys do something they all enjoyed pre-Upside Down。 Just cute Party shenanigans (plus some random transfer student) and some hella good Mike characterisation for my feel Mike Wheeler stans (DOWN WITH THE MIKE ANTIS!)。 Yeah, this was super cute。 We haven't really revisited the AV club in the show, so it's nice to see Will and the boys do something they all enjoyed pre-Upside Down。 Just cute Party shenanigans (plus some random transfer student) and some hella good Mike characterisation for my feel Mike Wheeler stans (DOWN WITH THE MIKE ANTIS!)。 。。。more

This was so cute! Poor Will :( Poor Joey and Caleb having to deal with racist children。 But this was still a pretty cute story。

assuming this is between s1 ending and before s2 which makes the last line so sad cause he’s saying the year will get better and it literally gets worse for him💀💀

really loved the style of the comic (compared to some other st comics)one barrier for me was that i didnt read it in my native language so maybe it would have been better if i understood everything idk reading this after season four was really enjoyable because i do miss the boys friendship a lot since Will moved to Florida and the whole season was very serious so the book felt like a nice refresher

Stranger Things: Zombie Boys is a fun, quick read。 Zombie Boys takes place between seasons 1 and 2 of the Netflix show。 Will is still dealing with the trauma he experienced while trapped in the Upside Down。 Although Zombie Boys is a young adult graphic novel, it gives Stranger Things fans the best glimpse into Will's emotional aftermath after season 1。 A new character, Joey Kim, is introduced。 As far as I know, Zombie Boys is Joey's only appearance。 He's a new student who joins Will, Mike, Dusti Stranger Things: Zombie Boys is a fun, quick read。 Zombie Boys takes place between seasons 1 and 2 of the Netflix show。 Will is still dealing with the trauma he experienced while trapped in the Upside Down。 Although Zombie Boys is a young adult graphic novel, it gives Stranger Things fans the best glimpse into Will's emotional aftermath after season 1。 A new character, Joey Kim, is introduced。 As far as I know, Zombie Boys is Joey's only appearance。 He's a new student who joins Will, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas to make a zombie movie。 I'm not sure of the reason for Joey's introduction since he's not a canon character。 Any random Hawkins student would work, and using a minor, canon character would add more depth to Hawkins。 Zombie Boys' artwork is more cartoonish than the artwork in the main, Jody Houser Stranger Things comics。 This style works well for the book's younger target audience。 It has a more playful, comic-booky feel that emphasizes the story's tone。 Zombie Boys is a sufficient fix for those feening for Stranger Things between seasons。 。。。more

This is a good in-between the seasons seasons reading based from Will's perspective and deals with minor PTSD。 Love the art style。 This is a good in-between the seasons seasons reading based from Will's perspective and deals with minor PTSD。 Love the art style。 。。。more

This was seriously cute and fun to read, I do love these four boys and their friendships。 I envy them since I never had something like that growing up, it is nice to read more about their adventures separate of the trauma that is the upside down!

this was cute but could’ve been better tbh all stars go for will and lucas ❤️

This one was okay。 Still not really good。 No fantasy elements, no horror, just kids coping with their past。Could have done so much more。

I loved this Stranger Things comic!!! This comic takes place after season one。 Will, Lucas, Dustin and Mike are still in the AV Club at school, but they've fallen behind in their classes and their beloved science teacher won't let them do anything else in the club until they've completed their make up work。 Enter Joey with a new video camera and the desire to film a zombie movie。 With a little persuasion, the group is able to complete their video as an extra credit project。 Read on to watch thei I loved this Stranger Things comic!!! A fun, quick read! This expands on the show without adding too much lore or plot to the Stranger Things story。 I thought it was cute and fun, and a nice show of how the boys rallied around Will after season 1!

This was another cute little stand alone story for "Stranger Things" set between seasons 1 and 2 focusing on Will and his friends making a zombie movie。 Really enjoying reading these graphic novels and catching up to where they are now with the current ones。 This was another cute little stand alone story for "Stranger Things" set between seasons 1 and 2 focusing on Will and his friends making a zombie movie。 Really enjoying reading these graphic novels and catching up to where they are now with the current ones。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this little snippet into the lives of the Hawkins boys when they aren't battling creatures from the Upside Down。 It was a great parallel to see this new friend help the boys deal with their trauma by making a horror film。 It was fun to see Will's talents put to use and to see Lukas play the hero。 It was a fun and easy read。 The illustrations were great as well。 I really enjoyed this little snippet into the lives of the Hawkins boys when they aren't battling creatures from the Upside Down。 It was a great parallel to see this new friend help the boys deal with their trauma by making a horror film。 It was fun to see Will's talents put to use and to see Lukas play the hero。 It was a fun and easy read。 The illustrations were great as well。 。。。more

great read I really liked the expansion on Will being called a zombie boy by fellow class mates and his true feelings that he is trying to shield from everyone。

This was my least favourite of the Stranger Things graphic novels I've read so far。 I was not a fan of the artwork and the story left a lot to be desired。The entire plot is that the boys decide to make a zombie film for extra credit and so they do。 That's it。 Nothing strange happens, there are no unexpected twists or surprises。 I thought at least there might be something going on with the new student who likes making films, but no, he was just ordinary, if unlikable。This was a very short story, This was my least favourite of the Stranger Things graphic novels I've read so far。 I was not a fan of the artwork and the story left a lot to be desired。The entire plot is that the boys decide to make a zombie film for extra credit and so they do。 That's it。 Nothing strange happens, there are no unexpected twists or surprises。 I thought at least there might be something going on with the new student who likes making films, but no, he was just ordinary, if unlikable。This was a very short story, which was a relief。 。。。more

Stranger Things: Zombie Boys is a Dark Horse Comics graphic novel written by Greg Pak with art by Valeria Favoccia。 Set after the events of Stranger Things Season 1, Will is in a depressed state and expressing him emotions through art。 A new kid in Hawkins finds one of Will’s zombie drawings and asks the gang if they want to make a zombie movie。 This book is geared towards a younger pre-teen audience but is still pretty fun。 I wish we got the more “adult series” of comics to continue as well as Stranger Things: Zombie Boys is a Dark Horse Comics graphic novel written by Greg Pak with art by Valeria Favoccia。 Set after the events of Stranger Things Season 1, Will is in a depressed state and expressing him emotions through art。 A new kid in Hawkins finds one of Will’s zombie drawings and asks the gang if they want to make a zombie movie。 This book is geared towards a younger pre-teen audience but is still pretty fun。 I wish we got the more “adult series” of comics to continue as well as doing young this adult series。 I felt like the adult line was finally getting fun and interesting。 But I am all for more titles to get kids into comics。 。。。more

"Oh, no, I'm doing awesome。。。 because I'm making a horror movie。 Because horror movies tell me it's okay to be scared。" Something as simple as that, the reminder that everyone gets scared and that there is nothing wrong with feeling scared, was enough to provide some much needed optimism to the party。 。。。more
