i read this online because i wanted to know more and i’m bored and also can’t get a copy of this volume right now so i caved and read a online version。i like isagi， the bickering between the teammates is funny but they’re still working on it even when all of them want to be the best player on the team。 the part where kunigami goes up to isagi and thanks him for the pass he sent and then shares his steak with him。 the magic of teamwork。 also like bachira and isagi’s little friendship。 also bless i read this online because i wanted to know more and i’m bored and also can’t get a copy of this volume right now so i caved and read a online version。i like isagi， the bickering between the teammates is funny but they’re still working on it even when all of them want to be the best player on the team。 the part where kunigami goes up to isagi and thanks him for the pass he sent and then shares his steak with him。 the magic of teamwork。 also like bachira and isagi’s little friendship。 also bless kuon just trying to keep all of them on the same page。 i’m definitely gonna keep up with this manga。 i’m into it。 that last scene where isagi is standing over niko after team z’s win。 gosh dang。 that’s hard。 i do want to end up getting this vol though。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 BLUE LOCK reminds me of KUROKO’S BASKETBALL in the sense that while the BLUE LOCK characters don’t have superpowers， a lot of them do seem to be defined by one extraordinary skill and you really gotta suspend your disbelief while reading it。 i still find ego’s push for individualism an interesting concept but the more i think about it， the more i can’t fully get behind it， especially as soccer， at its core， is still a team sport。 even in this volume， team z are shown to struggle when they were a BLUE LOCK reminds me of KUROKO’S BASKETBALL in the sense that while the BLUE LOCK characters don’t have superpowers， a lot of them do seem to be defined by one extraordinary skill and you really gotta suspend your disbelief while reading it。 i still find ego’s push for individualism an interesting concept but the more i think about it， the more i can’t fully get behind it， especially as soccer， at its core， is still a team sport。 even in this volume， team z are shown to struggle when they were all trying to play to win by themselves; it was only after they compromised and worked together that they were able to eventually overcome the rival team and win。 because of this dichotomy， it’s a little hard for me to get invested in this series even though i still like the art and find it an overall fun， though somewhat slow-paced， read。 。。。more
