Really cute books that come with little sidestories that are still canon to the series and take place between different arcs。 I would definitely recommend you read it if you are into My Hero Academia/ Boku No Hero Academia。

it was a good side story i enjoyed how it was not to far outt of the time line or from tthe actual story but was still closly tied to the story line it also offerd a inner perspective of how characters think that is noet seen as much in the manga。 overall it was different in a fun unique way adding to the story of my hero acadamia。

A short side-story for one of the greatest manga and anime series to have come out in the past decade。 It's in the same vein as the movies and OVAs in that it is a fun， fan-service story that doesn't effect the overall narrative and doesn't make major character changes to our favorites。 It's more of a slice-of-life type of story with every chapter focusing on groups of students and the teachers in Aizawa's chapter and the adventures and problems that they are faced with。 As some who works in edu A short side-story for one of the greatest manga and anime series to have come out in the past decade。 It's in the same vein as the movies and OVAs in that it is a fun， fan-service story that doesn't effect the overall narrative and doesn't make major character changes to our favorites。 It's more of a slice-of-life type of story with every chapter focusing on groups of students and the teachers in Aizawa's chapter and the adventures and problems that they are faced with。 As some who works in education and is involved with students' education， it's always good and relatable to read and understand the points of view of both the teachers and the students。 As someone who loves superheroes and comic books， the situations and dialogue that these characters are placed in with the use of their quirks and the roles of villains and heroes are still as interesting as what we see in the manga and the anime。 Each chapter actually feels like a comic book/manga issue with a focus on the characters and their own unique story and problem and how that is resolved by the end of the chapter。 On top of that， every situation is one that is very much relatable whether you personally have done it or have known people who have experienced these sorts of things。 Parent's Day is the thread that connects each of these stories together， and in some ways， it acts as a dark cloud that some characters are dreading， which is in lieu of many school kids who would be nervous having their parents coming into class with them。 In the minds of most kids， the school world and the home world are two entirely different entities that should never be mixed。 All in all， an entirely wholesome and identifiable book that while， not necessary to the main plot and not entirely changing to the characters to the manga and anime， it is nonetheless a good read for fans of both。 。。。more

This is a light novel companion series to the Manga that follows the gang through the day to day school activities that the Manga's heavily driven action plot has no time to show。 It’s authorized by the Manga creator and Vol 1 is basically a series of vignettes that surround an upcoming Parent’s Day。 It reads like a fan fiction but with stiff writing which is probably due to translation。 There are a few cute illustrations but for the most part it was pretty boring， especially with the time taken This is a light novel companion series to the Manga that follows the gang through the day to day school activities that the Manga's heavily driven action plot has no time to show。 It’s authorized by the Manga creator and Vol 1 is basically a series of vignettes that surround an upcoming Parent’s Day。 It reads like a fan fiction but with stiff writing which is probably due to translation。 There are a few cute illustrations but for the most part it was pretty boring， especially with the time taken to introduce each character and their quirk as if non fans are reading。 It was saved by the Todoroki and Aizawa scenes which is why I went with a 2。5 rounded up instead of a 2。 Unfortunately those were in the beginning and what followed were some boring scenes with way to much Mineta and not enough Bakugo！ Plus it was really hard to tell what age it was targeted to。 It read really young but then it goes on about boob size and picking up women。 ？？？ I doubt I will continue on with the series but overall if you can get past Mineta it’s pretty harmless and probably reads better in it’s original language。 。。。more

A cute collection of "slice of life" stories focusing on the BNHA/MHA cast that all center around one main plot。 I found it enjoyable to get glimpses of the thoughts and reactions of characters that get a lot less screen time （like Tokoyami， for example）。 In this way， the book was a refreshing， cute， quick read。 Kind of like licensed fanfiction， if you will。Which is not to say that the book is without it's flaws。 Granted， the original was written in Japanese and has been translated to English so A cute collection of "slice of life" stories focusing on the BNHA/MHA cast that all center around one main plot。 I found it enjoyable to get glimpses of the thoughts and reactions of characters that get a lot less screen time （like Tokoyami， for example）。 In this way， the book was a refreshing， cute， quick read。 Kind of like licensed fanfiction， if you will。Which is not to say that the book is without it's flaws。 Granted， the original was written in Japanese and has been translated to English so some of the stiffness in the writing may be more on the part of the translation team than anything else。 Content-wise I agree with everyone else's reviews that we could have done entirely without Mineta。 His subplot of trying to pick up girls at a theme park was undeniably creepy with perturbing language like "targets"， and， "prey"。 But - while I'd like him to stop being a character altogether - I have to point out that both the narration and the other characters viewed Mineta and his actions with disgust and contempt。 Still， I would prefer if the content was forgone entirely。 Outside of this， I feel the strangest choice was to introduce every character and their quirk as they showed up in the story。 Given that this is a derivative work of a popular manga and anime wouldn't the reader base be EXCLUSIVELY fans familiar with all of this？ The choice seemed baffling and made sections of the stories slower and heavy with info dumping。 Ironically， in that way fanfiction is superior as it already assumes the reader's familiarity and just gets straight to the actual plot。Ultimately I give this book a 3 or 3。5 rating。 It's cute overall， it's BNHA content， and it's some degree of canon due to being licensed。 Worth a read for a fan but know that the writing （and/or translation） could have been much stronger。 I'll be reading the other three School Briefs all the same。 。。。more
