I am reviewing this book for Naoko Sakamoto; Kamo, and NetGalley who gave me a copy of their book for an honest review。I love how-to-draw books and this is a good one。 So many things to choose from。 Will be using it with the youth groups I work with

I was sent a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review。This is such a great book to get kids into drawing and unleash their creativity! With cute step-by-step illustrations and lots of observing, kids are guided by our two authors to draw almost everything from pets to building to moving humans! It's not only a great exercise book for kids, but also one that will help with their creativity and confidence。 Plus the authors talk a bit about colors too and creating atmosphere, but als I was sent a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review。This is such a great book to get kids into drawing and unleash their creativity! Charming how-to-draw book for kids of all ages, 5-105。 The authors encourage the reader/drawer to learn to draw by observing and tracing, then freehand drawing and finally changing details to add your own touch。 How to Draw Almost Everything for Kids Includes: People, Animal, Plants, Food, Everyday Objects, Icons and Holidays。 I thought the Japanese Zodiac signs were the most charming。 The color scheme is subdued, but cheerful spring colors in this well-organized book。 I'd recommend buying a har Charming how-to-draw book for kids of all ages, 5-105。 The authors encourage the reader/drawer to learn to draw by observing and tracing, then freehand drawing and finally changing details to add your own touch。 How to Draw Almost Everything for Kids Includes: People, Animal, Plants, Food, Everyday Objects, Icons and Holidays。 I thought the Japanese Zodiac signs were the most charming。 The color scheme is subdued, but cheerful spring colors in this well-organized book。 I'd recommend buying a hard copy of it, and not an ebook - because the value in drawing is actually drawing on paper。 This would make a nice gift book for any child, young or old, interested in simple drawing。Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for granting access to an arc of this book for an honest review。 。。。more

Thanks to the publisher and Net Galley I had a chance to read this。 The following is my honest review。Firstly, the doodles found in this book are very cute! Japanese style ball point pen doodles。 The book is colorful and put together in different sections。 There is a few step by step instructions and the rest are displayed with a few spaces where you are meant to trace, and then a couple free hand drawing spaces。 I think for younger kids more step by step instructions would be useful, but maybe Thanks to the publisher and Net Galley I had a chance to read this。 The following is my honest review。Firstly, the doodles found in this book are very cute! How to Draw Almost Everything for Kids uses a four step process to teach kids how to draw: observe, trace, freehand, and change it up。 It starts with basic stick figures and teaches the reader to morph these sketches into more detailed drawings。 The subject matter covers people, animals, plants, foods, everyday objects, and holidays and special occasions。 These categories cover a lot of what kids would be interested in drawing although I didn’t think the inclusion of astrological signs was appro How to Draw Almost Everything for Kids uses a four step process to teach kids how to draw: observe, trace, freehand, and change it up。 It starts with basic stick figures and teaches the reader to morph these sketches into more detailed drawings。 The subject matter covers people, animals, plants, foods, everyday objects, and holidays and special occasions。 These categories cover a lot of what kids would be interested in drawing although I didn’t think the inclusion of astrological signs was appropriate or needed for the target audience。 The juvenile style lends itself well to not only drawings by kids, but also for doodling in journals。 I enjoyed learning a few new tricks for drawing people from this book。 。。。more

I love cute drawing books for kids and adults, and this is one of the best! Showing a variety of people, animals, and possessions, this book is easy to follow and the cute doodles are easy to recreate。 I like that there isn't a lot of messy sketching-then-erasing as some books have。 Instead it's a few shapes and lines, then you're done! Perfect for beginners or people who just want to make quick cute drawings。 I love cute drawing books for kids and adults, and this is one of the best! Great book for children from the age of around 7。 Lots of instructions and the opportunity to trace and then try to draw。 A basic book that starts with stick figures and then builds skills to faces, hands and clothing。 The illustrations are very cartoon like。 I think older children would find it too basic。

My maternal Grandmother took up painting in her ‘70s。 I seem never to have inherited her artistic genes。 But I feel sure I could learn after reading this winsome guide with the sweetest illustrations and easy-to-follow instructions。 5/5 Thanks to the author, Quarto Publishing Group – Quarry, and NetGalley for a review copy。 Opinions are fully mine。#HowToDrawAlmostEverythingForKids #NetGalley

I love how this book approaches the idea of drawing with simple, step by step instruction and illustrations, as well as providing exercises for practicing the techniques。 Even someone with little to no artistic ability, like me, can create recognizable drawings following along with this book。 This book teaches how to draw faces, figures, clothing, accessories, and much more。 It should provide hours of entertainment to anyone interested in drawing。I received this e-book ARC through Net Galley in I love how this book approaches the idea of drawing with simple, step by step instruction and illustrations, as well as providing exercises for practicing the techniques。 Even someone with little to no artistic ability, like me, can create recognizable drawings following along with this book。 This book teaches how to draw faces, figures, clothing, accessories, and much more。 It should provide hours of entertainment to anyone interested in drawing。I received this e-book ARC through Net Galley in exchange for a truthful review。 。。。more

I got its e-ARC。 Although this book is for kids, I want to have the printed version for myself。 It is so cute。 It is easy to follow all the instruction。 So all the beginners will not find any difficult to start their first drawing。 But most of them is quite tiny。 I think it will be perfect if all the drawn pictures are bigger。

This book is great for kids, but even adults could use this book for learning how to draw。 I am not at all an artist。 I can't draw a straight line with a ruler。 i love how this book shows you what you will be drawing then you gives you spaces to trace over their lighter lines, then blank spaces for you to practice。 Heck even I was able to draw with this book。The book is broken down into sections like : faces, food, everyday things, icons, animals and more。 It gives you coloring patterns, color s This book is great for kids, but even adults could use this book for learning how to draw。 I am not at all an artist。 I can't draw a straight line with a ruler。 i love how this book shows you what you will be drawing then you gives you spaces to trace over their lighter lines, then blank spaces for you to practice。 Heck even I was able to draw with this book。The book is broken down into sections like : faces, food, everyday things, icons, animals and more。 It gives you coloring patterns, color schemes, different types of pens and more。 Like I said this boo is great for kids and adults alike。I received this book from the Author or Publisher via Netgalley。com to read and review。 。。。more

This is not just a how-to book, it is a book with exercises for children to learn how to draw "almost everything" by following some easy steps: observe, trace, freehand, change it up。 A short but informative guide on materials prefaces the first exercises。 Each topic is introduced on a single page by step-by-step drawings and is followed by several pages of drawing exercises。 I'd recommend it to children aged 8 and up。 This is not just a how-to book, it is a book with exercises for children to learn how to draw "almost everything" by following some easy steps: observe, trace, freehand, change it up。 A short but informative guide on materials prefaces the first exercises。 Each topic is introduced on a single page by step-by-step drawings and is followed by several pages of drawing exercises。 I'd recommend it to children aged 8 and up。 。。。more
