This reminded me of the Heart Stopper series but definitely different and with the character’s one issues and dilemmas。 I felt like this was very realistic story and the advise given about what to do with a young adult relationship that isn’t working out was great advise。

Laura dean is a complete a$$whole and i am so happy Freddy was able to figure out what she wanted in a relationship and so it can definitely be said that I loved this book and I am so happy Freddy smashed Laura’s heart with a 2500 pound sledger hammer （ not literally）

4。75Esta novela narra una historia de amor， pero del propio， de aprender a romper con personas que no le aportan nada a tu vida， de dejar de recibir migajas cuando te mereces el pastel entero， de acabar con bucles destructivos y de cuidar a aquellas personas que te ofrecen un amor sincero。Como pasa con "Los lugares que me han visto llorar" creo que historias de este tipo son totalmente necesarias。 Esta tiene el plus de ser una novela gráfica con unas ilustraciones preciosas， una gama de colores 4。75Esta novela narra una historia de amor， pero del propio， de aprender a romper con personas que no le aportan nada a tu vida， de dejar de recibir migajas cuando te mereces el pastel entero， de acabar con bucles destructivos y de cuidar a aquellas personas que te ofrecen un amor sincero。Como pasa con "Los lugares que me han visto llorar" creo que historias de este tipo son totalmente necesarias。 Esta tiene el plus de ser una novela gráfica con unas ilustraciones preciosas， una gama de colores rosa， blanco y negro， un diseño que me fascinó y una forma muy original y estética de hilar las escenas。 El dibujo expresa perfectamente la angustia de Freddy （la protagonista de la historia）， su dolor y lo perdida que se encuentra; también su crecimiento y el de los personajes secundarios。 Otra cosa que me encanta es como se muestra la representación LGTBIQ+， de manera real y sin imponer una doctrina， simplemente fluye con naturalidad。 También se encuentran personajes racializados y relaciones muy diversas。 Toca temas bastante duros abordados de manera excelente y te hace reflexionar sobre lo que estamos dispuestos a aceptar en una relación （tanto de amistad como romántica）。Y me ha hecho sentir。。。que para mi es lo primordial en un libro， que no me deje indiferente y toque mis emociones para quedarse para siempre en mi corazón。 Una maravilla。 。。。more

Rating: 2。5/5 stars I really liked the art style， and the story had potential to be something good。 However I didn’t care for the main character。 I felt she was very self absorbed and as a result very unlikable。 Most of the other characters fell flat as the focus was constantly on the situationship between her and Laura。 Why bring up all these plot points about bullying， political discussions， marriage and abortion if you’re gonna brush over it？ Honestly glad I’ve never encountered someone as to Rating: 2。5/5 stars I really liked the art style， and the story had potential to be something good。 However I didn’t care for the main character。 I felt she was very self absorbed and as a result very unlikable。 Most of the other characters fell flat as the focus was constantly on the situationship between her and Laura。 Why bring up all these plot points about bullying， political discussions， marriage and abortion if you’re gonna brush over it？ Honestly glad I’ve never encountered someone as toxic as Laura。 She kept on doing whatever she wanted with whomever she wanted while simultaneously manipulating Freddy and her feelings when she decided she wanted to be with her again。 。。。more

Laura Dean is the worst。 Good job portraying a toxic relationship and standing up for yourself。 But the characters were flat and I felt like the story was created around the necessity to push identity politics first instead of the other way around。 Absolutely gorgeous art though。
