Charming read。 Great illustrations。I had never heard of biryani but now I want to try it there is the recipe on the last page or， rather a link to a recipe。 I think I will try to find it first in an Indian restaurant。 It sounds delicious。 The illustrations are lovely。

This book will make anyone dream of Biryani！ It will also interest kids with the secret job Anni gives herself and the interaction with Uncle gives just the right amount of conflict for younger audiences。 It would be fun to read this book in a lower level class and then cook Biryani with them！
