If you have read any of the others books in this series， you already know how much the series has changed。 I don't have to explain it to you and waste your time。 I recommend reading at least a couple of her newer books so you can familiarize yourself with some of the characters in this book。 And there are a TON of characters！ Ms。 Sands has the wonderful habit of using many of her starring characters repeatedly as secondary or even tertiary characters。A familiar trope of a single Mom doing what s If you have read any of the others books in this series， you already know how much the series has changed。 I don't have to explain it to you and waste your time。 I recommend reading at least a couple of her newer books so you can familiarize yourself with some of the characters in this book。 And there are a TON of characters！ Ms。 Sands has the wonderful habit of using many of her starring characters repeatedly as secondary or even tertiary characters。A familiar trope of a single Mom doing what she can do to keep her family together--in this case， it's owning and taking care of a golf course/restaurant。The vamps are looking into a serial killer， and soon it seems that this killer may be after the course owner， Natalie。Sorry， but I'm not going to spoil this book with more of the story or simply re-write the synopsis of the book to pad my review。 So I will just say that this book had a major twist and I did figure out the clumsy murderer- but the why of it just floored the poop out of me！The author also goes with the happily-ever-after trope （well， it IS a romance after all！！！）。 There is a tone of sizzlin' sex and the inevitable human-to-vamp change。I loved it and read this in a single day。*ARC supplied by the publisher Avon and Harper Voyager， NetGalley， and Lynsay Sands， the author。My thanks。 。。。more

Book 35 of the Argeneau series doesn't disappoint。 Valerian meets his life mate Natalie and her daughter Mia at her family golf course。 This story has a little bit of everything， a sexy immortal， a strong female， a villain， suspense， humor， romance， etc。 It was nice to catch up with some characters from earlier in the series as well。There was a lot going on in the story with solving the mystery of the bad guy， but I would have liked to see a little more of Valerian， Natalie and Mia getting to kn Book 35 of the Argeneau series doesn't disappoint。 Valerian meets his life mate Natalie and her daughter Mia at her family golf course。 This story has a little bit of everything， a sexy immortal， a strong female， a villain， suspense， humor， romance， etc。 It was nice to catch up with some characters from earlier in the series as well。There was a lot going on in the story with solving the mystery of the bad guy， but I would have liked to see a little more of Valerian， Natalie and Mia getting to know each other as a family。 I received this book in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

I stayed up way to late。 It was only the first few。。。pages， no chapters。 Lynsay always writes an exciting tale。 Her world keeps expanding and I find myself excited for the next installment in the series。 After the bite will keep the pages turning。

I've been reading Lynsay Sands' books for a long time and never once have I ever been disappointed。 Every single book of hers is so filled with love， friendship， trials and healing， action， adventure， and so much more。 I remember the very first time I ever saw a book of hers on the shelves at my local Walmart。 It was her book "Tall， Dark， and Hungry。" I picked that book up on a whim and it has led me down a most spectacular path of intrigue， the paranormal， and love。 And this book is no differen I've been reading Lynsay Sands' books for a long time and never once have I ever been disappointed。 Every single book of hers is so filled with love， friendship， trials and healing， action， adventure， and so much more。 I remember the very first time I ever saw a book of hers on the shelves at my local Walmart。 It was her book "Tall， Dark， and Hungry。" I picked that book up on a whim and it has led me down a most spectacular path of intrigue， the paranormal， and love。 And this book is no different。 Valerian is like most of the immortals in this world: strong， handsome， used to taking charge。 However， when he meets Natalie and Mia something inside of him stops him from taking over like he would normally be prone to do and to allow Natalie to choose what she would like to do。 I love how all of the Life Mates in this series are always given a choice and never forced。 Love should come freely and if it's forced can it really be called love？Anyway， Natalie has had a rough go of things and because of that she is hard won to trust anyone let alone another man。 However， she is also smart enough to recognize that Valerian and his friends and family are different。 I loved the mystery aspect of this one。 It was a bit chilling， it definitely thrilled， and it made your heart race all at the same time。 I loved it。 Another marvelous book to add to this ever-growing series and this series never gets old！ Please， keep them coming。 As long as you write them， then I will most definitely read them。 I absolutely whole heartedly recommend this book and all of the previous ones in the series to boot。Thank you to Net Galley， the publishers， and to Lynsay Sands for the ability to read and review this book。 All opinions are my own and completely honest。 。。。more

It's amazing to see that this is book number thirty-five in the Argeneau series！ While I haven't read each book in the series， I can honestly say I've enjoyed every one that I've read。 And even though there are lot of books in the series， you don't need to feel as though you need to read them all in order to appreciate them。 That said， if you like paranormal romance with a touch of humor， you're sure to enjoy these books。 As is often the case in paranormal romance， the supernatural character oft It's amazing to see that this is book number thirty-five in the Argeneau series！ While I haven't read each book in the series， I can honestly say I've enjoyed every one that I've read。 And even though there are lot of books in the series， you don't need to feel as though you need to read them all in order to appreciate them。 That said， if you like paranormal romance with a touch of humor， you're sure to enjoy these books。 As is often the case in paranormal romance， the supernatural character often recognizes their significant other way before the mortal character does。 In this case， Valerian， an immortal， not to be confused with a vampire， meets single mom， Natalie and knows she is his lifemate。 But convincing her of that little fact while also saving her from a potential serial killer keeps Valerian and his immortal family and friends very busy。 It's amazing that after thirty-five novels， Lynsay Sands manages to keep the series fresh and enjoyable， but she does！ 。。。more

It’s been years since I’ve read an Argeneau story。 So when I saw this one available， I immediately grabbed it。 I was a little worried I might be lost since I was jumping into the 35th book， but I shouldn’t have worried。 There was enough backstory so that I was able to effortlessly reconnect with the series。In this installment， immortal Enforcer Valerian enjoys teeing off after sunset on the golf course。 After three months of playing the course， he finally meets the owner， Natalie， who is also hi It’s been years since I’ve read an Argeneau story。 So when I saw this one available， I immediately grabbed it。 I was a little worried I might be lost since I was jumping into the 35th book， but I shouldn’t have worried。 There was enough backstory so that I was able to effortlessly reconnect with the series。In this installment， immortal Enforcer Valerian enjoys teeing off after sunset on the golf course。 After three months of playing the course， he finally meets the owner， Natalie， who is also his life mate。 It’s unexpected but a connection he cannot deny and will protect。 Especially when Natalie’s life is threatened。I loved Mia and Sinbad。 And I loved how Valerian immediately accepted both。 Told from alternating POVs， we get to experience not only the attraction to each other， but the forming connections between Valerian and Mia， and Natalie and the other immortals。There’s a lot of info packed into this story coupled with a mystery that needed to be solved and a twist I admittedly， did not see coming。 The pacing kept me on my toes and the writing flowed smoothly。 There’s a lot of backstory， family history， and background into Valerian and Natalie’s life to give you a well-rounded view of the story。 But I would have liked to have spent more time with Valerian and Natalie together， as a couple and family。 While the physical chemistry was there， I wanted to experience more of the emotional connection， especially from Natalie。There’s a large cast of characters。 Many， I assume， who were featured in prior series books。 I’m sure regular series readers will get recaps and see their favorite couples again。 There were a few lingering non-relationship-related loose ends for me that were introduced here， but I’m assuming they will be touched on in subsequent series books。 /I received an early edition of this book。 This did not affect my opinion of the story or content of my review。/ 。。。more

Valerian and Natalie Lynsay Sands and the Argeneau series was my first dive into the world of paranormal romance and after thirty-five books， I am as engaged in this series as I was at the beginning。 Each book is different， but still manages to give you all the feels along with a laugh or two。 Valerian is a character we have known since the beginning。 He was first introduced in Lissianna and Greg's story。 He is a younger immortal who is currently a rogue hunter and makes appearances in several o Valerian and Natalie Lynsay Sands and the Argeneau series was my first dive into the world of paranormal romance and after thirty-five books， I am as engaged in this series as I was at the beginning。 Each book is different， but still manages to give you all the feels along with a laugh or two。 Valerian is a character we have known since the beginning。 He was first introduced in Lissianna and Greg's story。 He is a younger immortal who is currently a rogue hunter and makes appearances in several of the other stories in the series。 Natalie was a great character to meet。 She is tough as nails and has been put around the ringer emotionally。 She has had a tough life and has made mistakes （who hasn't） but is trying to work through them and become a better person and mother to Mia。 Mia was a sweetheart and is already going to be so spoiled。 I always love the immediate chemistry between lifemates， but also love how caring Valerian was with Mia and understanding Val was with Natalie and knowing that he would have to tread slowly。 There was a small little mystery that follows throughout the story and while parts of it were obvious there were also parts that weren't。 We also got to have cameos from beloved characters we haven't seen in a while like Valoree and Alex。 Along with old friends we got to meet some new ones like Valerian's sister Aileen and his two cousins。 If you love the Argeneau's you will like this book。 I am giving it four stars， but that is because of the erupt ending and I wanted a little more， maybe an epilogue to help tie everything together。 This story may set up a few future stories also。 -----Favorite part is how Natalie meets Tybo----------Also want a future story for Sheila because she has been through so much----------Hoping for VASCO （have always been transparent about my love for him） or TYBO （he is so fun and playful） to meet their lifemates next。 *I have received this ARC to review from Netgalley and all opinions are my own。" 。。。more

Trying to keep this spoiler free is a bit hard because saying why I liked it will give a lot away！ Basically there’s a twist in there。 And the twist is pretty great and very unexpected。 I love the dynamic between the Hh。 They have a very sweet interaction but also very honest。 I think they are the more interesting of the couples。

I quite enjoyed this book i really liked the plot and the characters and the ending i did not see that coming at all！ 🤯 I really liked the build up and how the relationship between valerian and natalie changed and developed throughout the story i did really like how the story went and how it ended again i did not expect that ending whatsoever。 I love how valerian understood that natalie and mia were a package deal and that he couldn't just have one and loved how he was so patient with natalie！ I quite enjoyed this book i really liked the plot and the characters and the ending i did not see that coming at all！ 🤯 I really liked the build up and how the relationship between valerian and natalie changed and developed throughout the story i did really like how the story went and how it ended again i did not expect that ending whatsoever。 I love how valerian understood that natalie and mia were a package deal and that he couldn't just have one and loved how he was so patient with natalie！ 。。。more

Taking place approximately 4 months after Immortal Rising we find that Valerian and the crew are looking for the Angel Maker Serial Killer。 Taking time off for he goes back to his farm and goes to play golf at his local golf course owned by our female main character Natalie。 When Valerians golf cart runs our of gas he then treks back to the main club house from the 17th hole。 He then meets Natalie and when trying to control her to tell her it wasn’t a big deal。 When he goes back to the golf cart Taking place approximately 4 months after Immortal Rising we find that Valerian and the crew are looking for the Angel Maker Serial Killer。 Taking time off for he goes back to his farm and goes to play golf at his local golf course owned by our female main character Natalie。 When Valerians golf cart runs our of gas he then treks back to the main club house from the 17th hole。 He then meets Natalie and when trying to control her to tell her it wasn’t a big deal。 When he goes back to the golf cart to retrieve his keys he finds that Natalie has been gravely injured and is in one of the water features。 Did the Angel Maker follow him back to his home？ Read and find out！！ Lynsey Sands never disappoints and is an author I can always turn to if I feel like I am in a book Slump。 After The Bite definitely came to me at the right time and was a fast， one sitting read for me that makes me want to read the whole series all over again！！ 。。。more

Another great read from Lynsay Sands。 The Argeneaus are one of my favorite families to revisit with each new publication。 Natalie was such a different character than what you normally see in romance。 She had deeps flaws that she freely admitted to and was working to fix on her own。 I feel like that is not something you normally see。 Valerian was a very typical hero which isn't a bad thing at all。 Another great read from Lynsay Sands。 The Argeneaus are one of my favorite families to revisit with each new publication。 Natalie was such a different character than what you normally see in romance。 She had deeps flaws that she freely admitted to and was working to fix on her own。 I feel like that is not something you normally see。 Valerian was a very typical hero which isn't a bad thing at all。 。。。more
