This was a book of short stories where Poirot figured out the murders。 Agatha Christie was amazing in her plotting out the crimes and their solutions。

Excellent collection of four short stories。 My favorite was ‘Triangle at Rhodes’。 ‘Murder in the Mews’ is quite good。 Unfortunately， it recycles the plot from an earlier Poirot short story， so there really wasn’t much surprise reading it。The other two weren’t as memorable to me， but they still are enjoyable reads。

Two of the stories were great， the others just okay though I would have enjoyed one more if I didn’t realize that she had expanded on the setup in a later novel I’d already read and thus guessed the plot immediately。 The culprit in the titular story pulled off a brilliant misdirection。

This wasn’t bad for a short story。 I liked the plot and the mystery elements。 It was a quick read。 It got straight into the story and we quickly discovered the ending but it didn’t feel rushed。 The characters were kept to a few， of which we found out just enough about them that kept them likeable。 I’ll definitely read more shorts from Agatha Christie。
