All in all the book was entertaining。 There was a lot about the world and its inhabitants that was interesting and entertaining; I love how the long running plot about the Psy-Net and Psy race is going, there was good enough chemistry between the main couple, there was some entertaining suspense and action and drama。。。 but, disappointingly there wasn't as much of this about the main couple Memory and Alexei。 Partly because the novel isn't only about them or mostly about them, in my opinion there All in all the book was entertaining。 There was a lot about the world and its inhabitants that was interesting and entertaining; I love how the long running plot about the Psy-Net and Psy race is going, there was good enough chemistry between the main couple, there was some entertaining suspense and action and drama。。。 but, disappointingly there wasn't as much of this about the main couple Memory and Alexei。 Partly because the novel isn't only about them or mostly about them, in my opinion there's TOO MUCH GOING ON; so many different sub plots and on-going plots and POVs that my attention was often taken away from the main ones and lost completely on things I had no investment in。 As the book begins to tie lose ends it felt as if it'd never end, it was frustrating。 To be honest I was more interested in secondary character that plays and interesting part in how the situation with the Psy-Net is gonna go, how it's "doom" is developing。 As well as an Arrow who befriends Memory and I'd love to read a book about。。。 but I wasn't as interested in Memory as I was those two others。 Speaking of Memory, her introduction is great, there's drama and spirit and ground laid to make her a compelling character。。。 then she becomes a cookie cutter pink and glitter girl I rather not read about。 At times she'd show something unique but it was quickly forgotten with all the cookie cutter stuff。 I was actually excited about her being (finally) a dark, truly dark character like Krycheck。。。 but ended up disappointed。 I did like how her trauma and emotional growth after breaking free is treated, it's respectful to survivors irl and a good representation of how it can feel。Alexei on the other hand felt very secondary。 His story is about a serious issue with changelings that has been touched before, it's emotional and serious and it is used to show his personality and to affect his developing feelings for and relationship with Memory。。。 but that's it。 Yes, he is part of Memory's story in romance and vengeance and what not but that's why he feels secondary and rather。。。 boring in the end。 How his personal growth and problems are solved at the climax of the novel only worked to dimish the importance of those problems and why they meant something to his romantic relationship, it was so "I have no choice so I chose this。。。 oh wait, I had a choice。。。 oh well, what's done it's done" (facepalming myself)。 I was also bothered by his attittude (mostly) at the beginning with the whole "better angry than depressed/defeated" thing。。。 once or twice makes sense, I get that he's grumpy and growly but it quickly becomes obnoxious and at times kind of abusive。 Now。。。 taking a moment to talk about POVs since this is a repetitive detriment to Nalini S。's writing。 I appreciate her giving past characters some air time to give fans some service, particularly with favorite pairings。 But。。。 BUT。。。 it's one thing to give readers a "snipet" and another to give a whole chapter or several paragraphs full of emotional writing about the pairing sprinkled with things that have。。。 "something" to do with the main plots。 This was distracting, boring, annoying at times and DEFINITELY UNNECESSARY。 It slowed down the pacing and mixed with Memory's meh character and Alexei's uninteresting one the book DRAGGED for weeks while other novels by N。S。 I've read in a couple days。 I caught myself several times checking my TBR pile instead。。。 that, to me, is a huge red flag。 And a note。 I don't know how other people feel about this, this is a pet peeve of mine。 Nalini S。 tends to use expressions or words several times in a book like "Silver Fucking Mercant" in Silver Silence, which some readers commented on as a negative。 I found it。。。 ok? Yes, it's a bit repetitive, about once or twice every 3 chapters when here it's around once (at least) per chapter。。。 IT DROVE ME NUTS。 It's not like it was a stupid expression, it made some sense to the character giving it and the one receiving。。。 to their relationship, it's just that it was also cheesy and silly so it killed the mood for me a lot, not to mention it comes a point where you're beginning to get out of the book just to wonder "how many times is it now?" or "should I make a drinking game out of this"。。。 that's a no good for me。 It's not bad, it's surely not BAD。。。 it's just not good enough。 I won't re-read it, that's for sure。 I recommend the series as a whole but this book in particular? If I could tell you to skip it I would, but this kind of series needs to be read in order, no skippinng allowed。 I thought to give it 3。5 stars (4 stars cause I'm nice like that) but nah, this is a 3 for me。 。。。more

This was really good after the previous book in the series。 With the last one I felt like we were introduced to a whole new set of changelings that I just didn't care about。 Maybe water changelings just don't do it for me。 Although I didn't know much about Alexei from previous stories I really grew to like him。 I loved his sarcasm and strength。 Memory was great too。 I loved that she had a completely different power AND that she was strong enough to handle Alexei despite what she'd been through。 This was really good after the previous book in the series。 With the last one I felt like we were introduced to a whole new set of changelings that I just didn't care about。 Maybe water changelings just don't do it for me。 Although I didn't know much about Alexei from previous stories I really grew to like him。 I loved his sarcasm and strength。 Memory was great too。 I loved that she had a completely different power AND that she was strong enough to handle Alexei despite what she'd been through。 。。。more

Captivating!!!I was captivated by the first scene from this story! I loved where the main plot is heading and I love how gray is described in this book。 Memory was a champion and Alexei…well any men that calls their woman lioness gets automatic points from me 😉 Also I really love Wild Woman magazine and would die to get subscription 🤣

This book is literal perfection。 You read that right。 I said what I said。 And no, I'm not going to take it back。 I freaking ADORED this book。 Not only do we get to go back to California to hang out with the SnowDancer and DarkRiver packs, we get a new designation of E, we get to spend quality time with a bunch of my old faves, and we're introduced to easily one of my all-time favorite heroines in this series - right up there with Sascha and Sienna。 Memory Aven-Rose is in a league of her own (qui This book is literal perfection。 You read that right。 I said what I said。 And no, I'm not going to take it back。 I freaking ADORED this book。 Not only do we get to go back to California to hang out with the SnowDancer and DarkRiver packs, we get a new designation of E, we get to spend quality time with a bunch of my old faves, and we're introduced to easily one of my all-time favorite heroines in this series - right up there with Sascha and Sienna。 Memory Aven-Rose is in a league of her own (quite literally, too, as the first known E-sigma to-date), and she is such a freaking badass。 I have a huge, exploitable weakness for female characters that have survived unspeakable evil and still manage to just exude sunshine and goodness and fire and grit。 And Memory is just that - she's a lioness and the perfect woman to keep Alexei on his toes。 Seriously, this book is just so good - the pacing is excellent, the action, drama, and conflict is perfectly balanced against the humor, romance, and moments of pure fluff。 Memory and Sascha's sisterly bond was everything I could have wanted (although I'm still kind of bummed we didn't get any proper interactions between Memory and Sienna。 I would have LOVED to see those two firecrackers become BFFs!), Naya is still a little scene thief, and Amara Aleine was a surprise standout in this installment。 The added layers we got to her character just made her endlessly fascinating to me。 I can't wait to see what Nalini does with her character next! Alexei is everything I could have wanted in an MMC - broody AF, dominant, but an absolute fucking softie where his woman is concerned。 Watching him try to resist her was both hilarious and profoundly frustrating, but it only served to make that tension between them all the sweeter。 And the individual healing and growth he and Memory go through in this book? Perfection。 It hit all the right notes for me。 The latest development with the health of PsyNet was also a clever little twist I hadn't expected。 And once again, we get to see the power of Harmonies in action (something we haven't witnessed in ages - I had literally forgotten about it)。 In short: I have zero complaints about this book。 As stated previously, it was perfect in my eyes。 It gave me all the familiar goodness of the Psy-Changeling universe while expanding this world I've come to know and love in new and exciting ways。 Can't wait to see where we go from here! 。。。more

*3。5*This was kind of a mix between my favourite books in the series (Kaleb and Vasic's) so I enjoyed it。 But it didn't really do anything more。I also didn't absolutely love the hero。 (was it because he was blond? I refuse to answer that) The plot was a bit lackluster as well。Overall, this was an enjoyable book in the series。 Cute couple, a few Kaleb chapters and more scenes with my favourite characters from the earlier books。 *3。5*This was kind of a mix between my favourite books in the series (Kaleb and Vasic's) so I enjoyed it。 But it didn't really do anything more。I also didn't absolutely love the hero。 (was it because he was blond? I love me a Psy Changeling dynamic。 Alexei and Memory made my heart happy。 Alexei is this big damaged alpha with a lifetime of scars on his soul。 He broody, moody and a giant wind up when it comes to Memory。 Memory, a woman who spent most of her life in captivity with so much trauma and too many burdens to bare。 She wad a formidable character。 One that despite her circumstances, never gave in to her horrific reality。 Oh I loved these together。 He absolutely was the fuel to her flame。 He pushed h I love me a Psy Changeling dynamic。 Alexei and Memory made my heart happy。 Alexei is this big damaged alpha with a lifetime of scars on his soul。 He broody, moody and a giant wind up when it comes to Memory。 Memory, a woman who spent most of her life in captivity with so much trauma and too many burdens to bare。 She wad a formidable character。 One that despite her circumstances, never gave in to her horrific reality。 Oh I loved these together。 He absolutely was the fuel to her flame。 He pushed her to bite back and never allowed her to be scared。 She fought him for on everything despite him being the big bad wolf everyone tiptoed around。 It was a fascinating dynamic thay had me laughing on many occasions as they bickered their way into love。 As per Nalini delivered a solid story with great characters, good growth and the continuation of this gigantic plot that has seen us through part one of the PSY-Changeling series upto this new addiction, the Trinity series。 Its ever uncovering secrets, new discoveries, unwelcome foe and new relationships never seize to amaze me。 It's a crazy intricately woven world and this author has done it seamlessly proving over the years that she is the best at what she does。 Also。。。 Kaleb, Hawk and Judd。 Just because。 Now onto the next。 I'm so stoked to see what comes and what else is uncoved/discovered。 。。。more

I read up to Page 250 before I gave up。 All the characters are the same。 Alexei felt like Dorian。 He was growling all the time and treating Memory like a child。 I really HATED the fact that he touched her hair when she had told him NO MULTIPLE TIMES。Just Meh。 Done with this series。

It was so good to be back in Snow Dancer territory! That said, once again, I didn’t really become invested in this book until the 2/3 mark again I think。 I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I think the storylines are starting to feel repetitive despite a variety of new elements。 It was nice to explore rogues and e-Sigmas。

It was so nice to get back to SnowDancer, I didn't realize how much I missed the wolves and the cats。 Plus I'll take all the Sascha I can get。 Alexei and Memory were lovely and I appreciated that the reason they couldn't immediately mate wasn't just a random roadblock set up just to be a roadblock。 So nice to see Adan, and Kaleb, and Judd, and Mercy, and Hawke, and others。 It was so nice to get back to SnowDancer, I didn't realize how much I missed the wolves and the cats。 Plus I'll take all the Sascha I can get。 Alexei and Memory were lovely and I appreciated that the reason they couldn't immediately mate wasn't just a random roadblock set up just to be a roadblock。 So nice to see Adan, and Kaleb, and Judd, and Mercy, and Hawke, and others。 。。。more

Woah, I was surprised by how much I liked this! Not sure how exactly because I’ve been a little bored by the plots in these lately, but the setup had me hooked from the beginning。 You’re introduced to Memory as broken and grieving over her beloved pet and only friend, but Singh does a fantastic job of revealing hints of her true nature until she really comes into her own, which is all kinds of awesome—all spice, sass and spitfire is our Memory。 And she’s just the perfect complement to Alexei who Woah, I was surprised by how much I liked this! Why is it ok for Memory to “fight” for Alexei—which is a beautiful and wonderful thing to do for the person you love—but somehow it would’ve been hopeless for his brother? Added on top is the perfect ending that we’re all used to be now in which of course Alexei could never go rogue。 I’m feeling very disgruntled at the implication that Alexei is somehow perfect while Brodie was always doomed to be the broken one。 This is not a solution nor in any way a mature treatment of a problem, it’s just a happy coincidence。 It’s also incredibly damaging because it consigns certain people to paranoia and then hopelessness, for something that doesn’t even seem to be their fault。 There were some hints that this isn’t all there is to it, but if that’s the case then how can we even trust this conclusion, since it’s really just a step towards full understanding? Anyway, just a side rant that didn’t really diminish my overall appreciation of this book。 。。。more

I love Alexei。 Even though he is a very unhappy wolf, he took the time to rescue a Woman that he thought was an E psy。 I loved memory but sometimes I would forget her name and when it was mentioned I was thinking they were actually talking about a real memory not the character。 Now they have discovered a new part to the E description。 There was a lot of action in this book not just a love story between memory and Alexei。 I believe this was another one of my favorite books in the series。 I hope t I love Alexei。 Even though he is a very unhappy wolf, he took the time to rescue a Woman that he thought was an E psy。 I loved memory but sometimes I would forget her name and when it was mentioned I was thinking they were actually talking about a real memory not the character。 Now they have discovered a new part to the E description。 There was a lot of action in this book not just a love story between memory and Alexei。 I believe this was another one of my favorite books in the series。 I hope the next book is just as interesting。 。。。more

4。5 starsThis is definitely my favorite in the Trinity series so far。 I loved the characters, series plot progression (for the most part) and story line。 I buddy read this with Anne as part of our Can You Read a Series in a Month Challenge。 We both gave it 4。5 stars。 First off, as much as I have enjoyed exploring different parts of the world in the first 2 books - it was SO NICE to be back with Snow Dancer, Dark River, and the Arrows。 I love seeing the way several of the characters have continue 4。5 starsThis is definitely my favorite in the Trinity series so far。 I loved the characters, series plot progression (for the most part) and story line。 I buddy read this with Anne as part of our Can You Read a Series in a Month Challenge。 We both gave it 4。5 stars。 First off, as much as I have enjoyed exploring different parts of the world in the first 2 books - it was SO NICE to be back with Snow Dancer, Dark River, and the Arrows。 I love seeing the way several of the characters have continued to grow。 And there's just an established familiarity that makes it so easy to fall into their world。 Secondly, I adored Memory。 She's incredibly strong and resilient。 And she's also so cute - with her innocent joy in things like glittery shoes and bubbles。 It's a nice foil to what she perceives as a dark ability。 I enjoyed watching as they discovered her new Psy abilities and the consequences of this new designation。 And her relationship with Alexi was priceless。 She taunted her wolf and he was putty in her hands :)! Alexi is a great character - I found there were references that I don't recall and I wonder if they were never in the books? Anne didn't remember either, so I'm thinking no。 I wish we'd had a short or something to give that back story。 Third, we got some interesting new developments in the overall story arch, couched in a really exciting story surrounding Memory。 I will admit a slight disappointment that we didn't get further development on the Ming front or on the Consortium front。 Especially Ming。 He's been evil since the start of the Psy-Changeling series and I desperately want him resolved already。 But other story lines got really good development, so I'll only complain a tiny bit。Once again, narrated by Angela Dawe and a fantastic listening experience。 Looking forward to continuing! 。。。more
