This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Estaba entre 2。5 y 3 ⭐️ pero creo que 2。5 es una calificación muuuuy dura y no creo que se merezca。 No es que no me gustó， al contrario， me entretuvo bastante y la lectura me pareció buena。。。 pero sí hubieron cositas que hmm。。。 Pero bueno， en fin， en general me agradó así que por eso se mantiene en 3 estrellas。Algunas cosas que no me gustaron:- Que Ilsa se haya quedado sin voz。 Por lo menos está viva， yay， pero。。。 a qué costo？ - Que al final， hayan matado a Leo。 Me pareció decepcionante， porque Estaba entre 2。5 y 3 ⭐️ pero creo que 2。5 es una calificación muuuuy dura y no creo que se merezca。 No es que no me gustó， al contrario， me entretuvo bastante y la lectura me pareció buena。。。 pero sí hubieron cositas que hmm。。。 Pero bueno， en fin， en general me agradó así que por eso se mantiene en 3 estrellas。Algunas cosas que no me gustaron:- Que Ilsa se haya quedado sin voz。 Por lo menos está viva， yay， pero。。。 a qué costo？ - Que al final， hayan matado a Leo。 Me pareció decepcionante， porque podrían haber hecho más con el personaje。 Lo desperdiciaron， a mi parecer。 Que lo maten en la secuela me hubiese gustado más， creo。 Y la forma en que murió。。。 me pareció muy fácil y muy rápida。 Tanto se hablaba de cuán poderoso era， y pues， al final。。。 meh （？。 - Que August sea el único "Sunai funcionando" ahora。 ¿Por qué Ilsa no pudo quedarse con su voz también？ Capaz le estoy dando mucha importancia， pero。。。 ya vi esta "táctica" en otro libro （Insignia， de S。 J。 Kincaid）， eso de quitar el poder （？ al personaje femenino solo para dejar que el masculino sea el único "importante"， "poderoso"， que no tenga "competencia"， o como le llamen。。。 y pues， bueno， como dije， me sienta un poco mal。 - Sloan como enemigo me pareció muy débil。 Capaz por como fue caracterizado， a lo mejor no lo desarrollaron bien （a mi parecer）。 - Y si se supone que era un "plot twist" lo de quién intentó asesinar a Kate， pues， no xD de hecho， fue bastante obvio。 Desde que sucedió el acto ya pensé "hmm。。。 seguro fue su papá"; luego， un poco más adelante pensé que capaz fue Leo; y después ya comenzando el 4to Verso pensé que podría ser una mezcla de ambos （？）。 Y al final fue así， más o menos。 Predecible。 - Kate no me terminó de agradar。 Me caía decente， ni mal ni bien。 A veces era como que intentaba tan fuerte de mostrarse "ruda"， "mala"， o como que la autora me estaba tratando de vender que Kate era así pero no lo sentía realmente。 - El "romance" no lo sentí para nada xD es más， los prefiero como amigos。 Su "química romántica" es inexistente （a mi parecer）， me gustaría que quedaran como amigos， pero sabiendo cómo van los YAs， obvio tienen que quedar juntos。 Ni modo。 Habiendo terminado el libro y viendo todo。。。 me entretuvo en el momento， sí， pero no sé si lo leería de nuevo。 No lo veo lo suficientemente "wow， entretenido！" como para una re-lectura。 Aún así， luego leeré la secuela para finalizar con esta duología。 。。。more

3。5 stars， I think。 FINALLY finished this one after literally a month of reading it on and off。 This one definitely suffered because July turned into a slump for me and I didn’t finish a single book and obviously took an entire month to read this one。 I liked the story; the premise was unique and it moves very fast so it’s easy to read， but I don’t know how intrigued I am to continue and finish off the duology。 I might do， just because it is only two， but I’m not sure yet。

Highly underrated fiction duo。 I thought the premise of these books was so， so interesting— far different from a lot of the more popular book tropes right now。 I found the main character （and his siblings） to be deeply interesting character， and while I wish a littlemore time was spent developing the main character’s siblings， I thought overall their arcs were great。 Overall， I’d highly recommend this book to any of my friends！

I enjoyed much of this book， but the ending thoroughly disappointed me， both the climax and the epilogue-esque scene that sets up the sequel。 It's just such a cop-out when the author sets up a super cool magic system and gives it clear-cut rules and we all understand how it works and it's beautiful and。。。 and。。。 and then the main character somehow snaps one of those important rules in half like a twig。 Just to save the novel from spiraling into tragedy。Listen。 Rules must be followed。Okay， rules I enjoyed much of this book， but the ending thoroughly disappointed me， both the climax and the epilogue-esque scene that sets up the sequel。 It's just such a cop-out when the author sets up a super cool magic system and gives it clear-cut rules and we all understand how it works and it's beautiful and。。。 and。。。 and then the main character somehow snaps one of those important rules in half like a twig。 Just to save the novel from spiraling into tragedy。Listen。 Rules must be followed。Okay， rules CAN be broken if the breakage genuinely makes sense and adds to the story in a tactful way， but this one made no sense whatsoever。 I would have much preferred to read the tragic version and delve into the dark psychological effects it would have had， but alas。As for the epilogue， it introduced a cliche twist I've seen a million times， and quite frankly I don't have time for a cliche sequel。 And don't get me started on Kate Harker; she's an unrealistic character I don't think I could stand following for a whole 'nother book。Don't get me wrong， I've read a couple of Schwab's books in the past that I really enjoyed。 She seems to be chock-full of amazing fantasy ideas， I just thought this particular concept （genius， by the way） was poorly executed in the end。 Wasted potential， if you will。 But I'll likely pick up more of Victoria Schwab's works in the future。 。。。more

“Una canción salvaje” forma parte de la Bilogía “Los monstruos de Verity” un primer volumen donde， tal y cómo nos tiene acostumbrados la autora， lo importante son los protagonistas。 En este libro， nos muestra una ciudad donde la guerra entre monstruos y cazadores de monstruos está a punto de estallar。 Dos personajes， cada uno dentro de uno de los bandos tratando de ser algo que no son， buscando algo que nunca encuentran， porque fingir casi siempre es el mayor de los problemas。Por un lado， tenemo “Una canción salvaje” forma parte de la Bilogía “Los monstruos de Verity” un primer volumen donde， tal y cómo nos tiene acostumbrados la autora， lo importante son los protagonistas。 En este libro， nos muestra una ciudad donde la guerra entre monstruos y cazadores de monstruos está a punto de estallar。 Dos personajes， cada uno dentro de uno de los bandos tratando de ser algo que no son， buscando algo que nunca encuentran， porque fingir casi siempre es el mayor de los problemas。Por un lado， tenemos a August， un monstruo del lado de los cazadores。 Su buen corazón le impulsa a querer ser mortal， humano， como su familia adoptiva （líderes de la lucha contra los monstruos） de extrema sensibilidad y capacidades asombrosas， solo puede alimentarse de almas corruptas a las cuales atrae a través de la música de su violín。 Y aún así， pese a saber que todas esas personas de las cuales se alimenta han cometido crímenes atroces se siente culpable por cada vida que arrebata。Por otro lado， tenemos a Kate， humana e hija del líder de los monstruos。 Es un personaje gris， alguien que pretende ganarse el respeto y amor de su padre demostrándole que puede ser malvada y cruel， que puede ser como él。 No faltan los momentos en que demuestra malas intenciones， aunque casi siempre se quedan en eso， demostraciones de lo que pretende ser。Ambos personajes deben cooperar en un momento del libro， un punto de inflexión que pone patas arriba todo。 El libro tiene muy buen ritmo， capítulos cortos y dinámicos que provocan la necesidad de seguir leyendo。 En ningún momento decae， especialmente cuando la dinámica entre los personajes termina de adquirir forma y se tienen que enfrentar a las consecuencias de un mundo más grande， más cruel y violento que ellos。 Da igual lo que quieran ser， da igual lo que pretendan ser。 Al final， lo que importa es lo que son。Tengo que mencionar un punto negativo en este libro y es la ambientación。 Pese a que en todo momento te hablan de una guerra， de una tregua， de diferentes tipos de monstruos， de líderes y movimientos， creo que no se detiene lo suficiente a explicar qué ha pasado y por qué se encuentra la ciudad en ese estado。 He tenido durante casi todo el libro una sensación de falta de información y he debido rellenar los huecos con mis propias teorías， las cuales no se si son acertadas o no。¿Recomiendo el libro？ Creo que no es el mejor que ha escrito Schwab， pero， aun así， digno de leer， entretenido y diferente。 De nuevo， con personajes grises que se ven superados por las circunstancias。 Y espero que en el segundo libro se solvente el punto negativo mencionado。 。。。more

A five star book， with a perfect title。 I seriously cannot get over how beautifully yet disturbing this book was written。 Some parts made me squirm in discomfort but that’s what made me love it， because I was also deeply invested in the story。 And the trope that Kate and August had literally had me in shambles the entire time， it’s just too good。 This entire series will forever be a favourite of mine。

É um livro ok。 Você demora bastante a se apegar ao personagens e a entender a dinâmica de como surgiu tudo aquilo porque o início é um pouco confuso。 Não é grande coisa。 Talvez o August seja o melhor personagem。 A personagem badass acaba torrando o saco， mas não nego em que uma das cenas finais eu fiquei surpreso com a atitude dela。 Ela é uma rebelde sem causa com causa， mas que mesmo assim é irritante。

the story was intriguing， i absolutely loved the world-building as well as the unpredictable plot。 the setting was very eerie and sucked me in the entire time。 i overall enjoyed this book and loved the characters。 however， i wasn’t very satisfied with the ending。
