4 stars。 My first light novel and it was cute and enjoyable。 There is a lot of information dumping, but I like it (and enjoy it)。 It seems as if it is just a different style of being straightforward with it instead of having it be discovered。 It kind of reads like a video game play through where information is just handed out as something new happens。 There was reveals that are interesting but with no hints or foreshadowing (or very little immediately before)。 I am thinking this is just how thes 4 stars。 My first light novel and it was cute and enjoyable。 There is a lot of information dumping, but I like it (and enjoy it)。 It seems as if it is just a different style of being straightforward with it instead of having it be discovered。 It kind of reads like a video game play through where information is just handed out as something new happens。 There was reveals that are interesting but with no hints or foreshadowing (or very little immediately before)。 I am thinking this is just how these stories are and do appreciate the novelty in comparison to western novels/stories。 。。。more

OkI thought that this was a complete book, not a continuous one。 I liked the book but it takes so long for the next part to come out。

I loved this book so much I loved everything about it from the story to all of the interesting characters。 The characters all are so interesting but I especially love Rishe she is a very resilient living six different lives and learning from them helping people along the way。 I also really like many of the other characters I loved Arnold there is more to him than you first realize at the start Rishe draws this out of him and it makes for a really good part of the story。 I loved the plot it was r I loved this book so much I loved everything about it from the story to all of the interesting characters。 The characters all are so interesting but I especially love Rishe she is a very resilient living six different lives and learning from them helping people along the way。 I also really like many of the other characters I loved Arnold there is more to him than you first realize at the start Rishe draws this out of him and it makes for a really good part of the story。 I loved the plot it was really interesting it started from Rishe being back to reliving the dissolution of her engagement that moves onto her interactions with Arnold who killed her in her last life that was her 6th life so things happen he proposes to her other things happen she goes back with him other things happen and we have a pretty great place to leave off the story from。 。。。more

Rishe has heard it all before--seven times, in fact。 After the crown prince breaks their engagement and exiles her, she has exactly five years to live before fate catches up with her。 But this time, she's somehow caught the attention of the man who will kill his father and start the war that will ravage the world: Crown Prince Arnold。So this is one I've been keeping an eye on ever since I read the fan translations。 Rische is the kind of hyper-competent protagonist I can appreciate (although I'd Rishe has heard it all before--seven times, in fact。 After the crown prince breaks their engagement and exiles her, she has exactly five years to live before fate catches up with her。 But this time, she's somehow caught the attention of the man who will kill his father and start the war that will ravage the world: Crown Prince Arnold。So this is one I've been keeping an eye on ever since I read the fan translations。 Rische is the kind of hyper-competent protagonist I can appreciate (although I'd buy some of her competence a little more if it was 7 or 10 years per loop and not 5)。 She's worked as a merchant, an alchemist, a maid, a knight---every life different, and mostly because they all start slightly differently, and those butterfly effects add up to different careers being available。I do like that although Rishe carries forward the KNOWLEDGE, she doesn't have things like the physical conditioning to use her knight training that well。 Or the merchant contacts to buy and sell what she needs。 So although her previous lives give her a very big boost, it still takes a lot of work on her part to pull it all together。Arnold, for his part, seems torn between amusement at watching Rishe blow up everyone's expectations of her, and something that might be turning into actual love。 Eventually。 For now his side of the relationship is fairly opaque, as Rishe is trying to figure out exactly who he is 。 。 。 and what might have happened to turn him into the killer she remembers。 There are only a few hints to this by the end。 But given Arnold's past, and a few educated guesses about that future, it's pretty certain Rishe being there is going to shake things up in a major way。Overall this can feel a bit derivative in parts, and the final conversation with Theodore is a little hard to follow, but I still enjoy this book。 I rate this book Recommended。 。。。more

This was a really cute romance novel about an unusually overpowered noblewoman and a political marriage that slowly turns into love。 It also touches on the nuanced relationships between family, and while it's a little problematic that Rishe consistently solves the problems of emotionally reserved men for them, overall I found myself enjoying the book and looking forward to the second volume's release。 Would recommend。 This was a really cute romance novel about an unusually overpowered noblewoman and a political marriage that slowly turns into love。 It also touches on the nuanced relationships between family, and while it's a little problematic that Rishe consistently solves the problems of emotionally reserved men for them, overall I found myself enjoying the book and looking forward to the second volume's release。 Would recommend。 。。。more

Veers towards mawkishness on occasion but sharp and fun in the main。

I've been looking forward to read this book for quite a while, especially since I really liked the web novel version。 It doesn't disappoint。 It has everything I like, including a smart main character and a shady male lead who knows her worth。 Despite what the title says, however, this isn't a villainess story。 Rishe is the daughter of a duke and the story does start with her getting dumped by her fiancé, who happens to be the crown prince, but she's never done anything that would brand her as a I've been looking forward to read this book for quite a while, especially since I really liked the web novel version。 It doesn't disappoint。 It has everything I like, including a smart main character and a shady male lead who knows her worth。 Despite what the title says, however, this isn't a villainess story。 Rishe is the daughter of a duke and the story does start with her getting dumped by her fiancé, who happens to be the crown prince, but she's never done anything that would brand her as a villainess。 She is shrewd, though。As the title suggests, this is Rishe's seventh loop。 It began with her getting her engagement broken at the age of 15。 From there, she would walk on various branches of her life and gain various skills before she inevitably died at the age of 20。 Then she'd get thrown back to where it started, at the party when her fiancé dumped her for another woman。 She's been doing this for six times, and now her seventh attempt at life leads her to meet Arnold, the crown prince of a military nation and the very person who always caused her death in her previous six lives。 Since Arnold seems to be interested enough in her to propose, Rishe decides to make the most out of it by marrying him so she can enjoy a laid-back palace life without having to do any work。If only it was that easy LOL。Rishe is a smart main character。 Maybe it's due to all the experience from her previous lives, but she's quick-witted and catches onto things really fast。 Despite her initial objective to have an easy (and hopefully long) life, she quickly figures out that stopping Arnold from waging war might be the key to her survival。 This leads to all sorts of royal family politics, which we only get a glimpse of in this first volume。 Arnold hasn't revealed his hand yet, but he has a lot of faith in Rishe's capabilities。 The romance progresses naturally, with both parties still keeping secrets from one another。I liked this one a lot。 The writing and characterization are great, the story is compelling, and the female side characters are handled well。 Even the one who stole Rishe's ex-fiancé from her。 It's far more common to see female side characters getting punished and then tossed aside for being bitchy, but that is not the case here。 Instead, they are given depth and I find that commendable。Now to wait for the next volume in November。 。。。more

A premise you've heard of before, but with an appealing main character that makes the story fresh。This is Groundhog Day if Bill Murray was a duke's daughter who began his loop not in bed every morning, but in the middle of a ballroom while getting dumped by the prince then living for five years and dying when he turned 20。 Also, Bill is a whole lot cuter and clever in this version。 Actually, imagining Bill Murray dressed up as a maid in one of the loops kills the vibe, so please disregard that a A premise you've heard of before, but with an appealing main character that makes the story fresh。This is Groundhog Day if Bill Murray was a duke's daughter who began his loop not in bed every morning, but in the middle of a ballroom while getting dumped by the prince then living for five years and dying when he turned 20。 Also, Bill is a whole lot cuter and clever in this version。 Actually, imagining Bill Murray dressed up as a maid in one of the loops kills the vibe, so please disregard that analogy。This was an enjoyable read。 Our MC carries her knowledge from the previous loop into the next, making her formidable and experienced beyond her years。 She's a 15yo girl, but with the life experience of a 45yo。 Despite her best efforts, everything goes wrong in the 7th loop, including finding herself engaged to the man who slew her on the battlefield in the sixth loop。 I loved the premise, enjoyed the writing, and look forward to the next volume。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Dropped today, read today。 I wouldn’t call the MC h a villainess, but she does get stuff done! The age difference of her being 15 and him 19 is slightly mitigated by the fact that she has lived to 20 for her last six lives, so technically mentally and emotionally she is one year older than him, though physically, not so much。 Only one kiss and not too heavy on romance, so there is hope, despite her going to marry him in six months time。 I really liked how she maintained her past lives experience Dropped today, read today。 I wouldn’t call the MC h a villainess, but she does get stuff done! This is one of my favorite transmigration light novels。 I've read manga, webnovel and light novel versions and the story is still as interesting with every reread。 As the title suggests, 7 times now, the heroine has gone back in time after death。 She always dies young for one reason or another and this time she's determined to live past 20。 Each loop of her life begins with her engagement to the crown prince broken and herself banished from her kingdom。 She begins her 7th life with a proposal fr This is one of my favorite transmigration light novels。 I've read manga, webnovel and light novel versions and the story is still as interesting with every reread。 As the title suggests, 7 times now, the heroine has gone back in time after death。 She always dies young for one reason or another and this time she's determined to live past 20。 Each loop of her life begins with her engagement to the crown prince broken and herself banished from her kingdom。 She begins her 7th life with a proposal from the very man that killed her in her last life, Arnold, the Crown prince of the neighboring country。 She accepts, believing this route to be the best for her survival and happily lives the life of a "carefree hostage"。 I love the main characters of this series。 Rishe and Arnold are both smart and layered characters。 With each rewind Rishe assumes a new identity; apothecarist, maid, merchant, soldier, amassing skills with each new life。 It makes her some sort of superwoman in her 7th life。 It's hilarious how blasé she is about her skills and even though she said that she intended to be a layabout hostage wife (her words) she's always a busy bee。 Despite being the future queen, she confidently tends to her needs, all the while keeping everyone in the palm of her hands and managing to solve years of staffing and administrative problems in the kingdom。 It may seem a little manipulative, but since Rishe is kind you end up respecting and admiring her actions。 Arnold is a bit of a mystery。 On one hand are Rishe's memories of a vicious and bloodthirsty man, on the other hand he seems to really like our heroine, giving her the freedom to do as she wishes and yet still supporting her。 He is perpetually amused with her actions and doesn't think of her as a hostage at all。 His actions are what cause Rishe's death in her previous lives, directly and indirectly, and it's baffling how the current Arnold ends up becoming the war hungry man she knew him to be。 It's great fun to read the main's interactions as they both seem to read and understand each other well。 The side characters also have life in them。 They aren't just throw aways but add color and dimension to the plot。 It's not a very heavy story but it does have bubbles of intrigue and I highly recommend this for those that like transmigration/ romance stories。 。。。more
