This was probably the shortest in the series so far while it feels like the pace is slowing down with each volume。 It does feel like things are finally narrowing down， now that we have finally met Gelda again and hopefully will find out how Yoko （Alita） came to be her apprentice。 In my opinion we’ve spent far too much time with young Alita， several years now in fact。 This was never what this series was about， and now we have a whole series that is her backstory， which was great but ultimately is This was probably the shortest in the series so far while it feels like the pace is slowing down with each volume。 It does feel like things are finally narrowing down， now that we have finally met Gelda again and hopefully will find out how Yoko （Alita） came to be her apprentice。 In my opinion we’ve spent far too much time with young Alita， several years now in fact。 This was never what this series was about， and now we have a whole series that is her backstory， which was great but ultimately is just a flashback sequence after Alita gets injured on Mars。 My hope is that once we finish this sequence we will return to the present and have a resolution to the larger story of what happened to her after the Last Order sequence and a climactic showdown with Super Nova。 But how many more years will that take？ 。。。more
