Ale przecież to wszystko jest zbyt piękne， żeby było realne。 Prawda？

This isn’t a genre I typically read， but I am so glad my friend lent me this book so I could branch out！ It drew me in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down！

I finished this book a couple of hours ago and can now calmly （more or less） write my three star review。。 This book had a ton of potential to be super spooky but it really fell flat in that sense。 A smart house and a sleep deprived nanny just don't cut it。 Rather， reading about how dumb the smart house is and reading about how this nanny is freaking terrible， like wow you make terrible judgment calls and aren't fit for this gig whatsoever， isn't my cup of tea either。 The kids were misbehaved and I finished this book a couple of hours ago and can now calmly （more or less） write my three star review。。 This book had a ton of potential to be super spooky but it really fell flat in that sense。 A smart house and a sleep deprived nanny just don't cut it。 Rather， reading about how dumb the smart house is and reading about how this nanny is freaking terrible， like wow you make terrible judgment calls and aren't fit for this gig whatsoever， isn't my cup of tea either。 The kids were misbehaved and annoying， apart from the baby， and didn't really add much to the spookiness。 They were just irritating。 Reading the letters was cool until it got to be plain exhausting and not practical at all。 The ending？ With all the twists。。。nope。 It ended too abruptly and it didn't punch me in the gut like oh snap！ All in all， it's an okay book。 。。。more

I had no theories or clues what was going to happen。 I thought up a totally different ending and was completely blindsided by what happened。 Another good book from Ruth！

This is my second Ruth Ware book and I enjoyed it much more than the first。 While I suspected the final twist at the very end of the book there were a few reveals before that， that I didn’t see coming at all。 She does a brilliant job of setting the scene， there were multiple times I found myself looking over my shoulder because I felt uneasy or uncomfortable。 I really enjoyed this one and look forward to reading more of her books。

SO SO SO GOOD。 I loved the imagery， the mood， the story， the writing。 While some thrillers have small twists and turns， this one had like two HUGE 90 degree angle turns that you seriously cannot see coming。 Recommending to everyone

5⭐El thriller es una de mis géneros favoritos， me gustan esos momentos de tensión， de suspense y de no saber que pasará e intentar averiguar quien será el asesino o la próxima víctima y con este libro encontré todo esto。Es una novela que me mantuvo en vilo durante la mayor parte de su lectura。 Me fascinó la ambientación en la highlands de Escocia， y como se desarrolla toda la historia alrededor de Rowan， quería saber que ocurriría en todo momento y solo quería avanzar la lectura para llegar a la 5⭐El thriller es una de mis géneros favoritos， me gustan esos momentos de tensión， de suspense y de no saber que pasará e intentar averiguar quien será el asesino o la próxima víctima y con este libro encontré todo esto。Es una novela que me mantuvo en vilo durante la mayor parte de su lectura。 Me fascinó la ambientación en la highlands de Escocia， y como se desarrolla toda la historia alrededor de Rowan， quería saber que ocurriría en todo momento y solo quería avanzar la lectura para llegar a la explicación final。 El único pero que tiene es que es de esos libros que empieza contándote el final del libro， así que el efecto sorpresa se pierde porque ya conoces como acabará， aunque la trama y lo que realmente tienes que averiguar es lo que pasa para llegar a ese final。 Os la recomiendo？ Sí， siempre que os guste el thriller mezclado con lo paranormal。 No creo que sea de terror， pero si te pondrá de los nervios su lectura。 。。。more

di awal cerita menurutku agak membosankan karena si rowen ini kebanyakan mendeskripsikan sebuah rumah bergaya victoria。 aku gak terlalu bisa bayangin seperti apa rumah yg dimaksud。 tetapi di pertengahan cerita mulai berasa aura mencekam dan menegangkannya， dan mendekati akhir cerita aku dibuat speechless karena banyak bgt kejutan2 yg bikin geleng2 kepala
