Summary

I no longer walked in the gray 。。。 I had fallen into the darkness。

With Brexley on the run and Istvan rebuilding his power in the safety of Ivanenko’s territory, those who have escaped the prison are dealing with the bloody aftermath and trying to regain any hold they can on Budapest。 But in Markos’s absence, Sonya makes a claim for the throne and takes control of the city。

When the rebel’s hideout is attacked, they are forced to flee the city they call home, heading East to destroy Istvan’s rise in Ukraine。

And locate Kovacs。

Warwick is not the only one after Brexley。 Beasts, humans, and fae are hunting her to seize the one item that can save or destroy not just the country, but the world。

Brexley’s powers are growing, but she is finding even she can’t control the dangerous nectar because the more she advances her own powers, so does the nectar, containing too much magic for one person to handle。

In this final installment, Brexley, Warwick, Killian, Caden, and Scorpion fight for love, freedom, life, and their country。

Fire ignites, beasts kill, death rises 。 。 。 And every life is on the line。

Between life and death, deep in the shadows, there is The Grey。。。
And The Wolf ready to obliterate the world for her。

“The End Of One Story Is Merely The Beginning Of Another…”Excerpt FromShadow Lands (Savage Lands Book 6)Stacey Marie BrownThis material may be protected by copyright。Tremendously waiting for the Seventh book cause I’m not satisfied with the ending of the sixth book。

I love the world that SMB built and I was entranced by her characters right off the beginning。 I do agree with other reviews that it felt a little anticlimactic and the relationships were rushed。 I would have liked for the story to slow down a bit to allow for the reader to process and try to sort thru the story。Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love this series and this book I just wanted more。 SMB is definitely setting it up for spin offs which I’m all on board for but if that’s the case I would I love the world that SMB built and I was entranced by her characters right off the beginning。 I do agree with other reviews that it felt a little anticlimactic and the relationships were rushed。 I would have liked for the story to slow down a bit to allow for the reader to process and try to sort thru the story。Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love this series and this book I just wanted more。 SMB is definitely setting it up for spin offs which I’m all on board for but if that’s the case I would like less time on those characters。 。。。more

Couldn’t stop reading!! I’m so addicted to this entire story。 From book one to this book。 I have been reading them since discovery。 I am beyond impressed by the way the author sucked me into each relationship in this book。 Each persons perspective was so well written, it felt like the story never missed a beat! Thank you for an awesome end to one part of the entire webbed process of the author’s book collection!!

Rating: 4。5/5I don’t even know where to start … I binged this entire series in a week so this will be almost an overall series review。 Finishing the series has left me a little hollow - which is how I know it was an amazing series that totally immersed me。 Loved seeing the softer moments between Warwick and Brexley。 I have lived them from the jumó - they embody all my favorite tropes : enemies to lover, “if anything happens to them I’ll burn the world down”, hates everyone but thenThe side chara Rating: 4。5/5I don’t even know where to start … I binged this entire series in a week so this will be almost an overall series review。 Finishing the series has left me a little hollow - which is how I know it was an amazing series that totally immersed me。 Loved seeing the softer moments between Warwick and Brexley。 I have lived them from the jumó - they embody all my favorite tropes : enemies to lover, “if anything happens to them I’ll burn the world down”, hates everyone but thenThe side characters were all equally as lovable as the main characters - which I love。 I will say this last book did feel a little rushed and the varying POVs tended to mesh together for me but it was still fantastic。 Getting a glimpse in Warwicks mind was perfect! My heart breaks for sweet Ash, he was my favorite second only to Warwick。 This has to be one of my new favorite series。 It had everything and more。 Overall series rating is a 4。9/5 。。。more

I actually am so angry with this book。 The only reason I kept reading instead of DNF was because I was already too invested in the story but this was horrible。 The multiple povs that we hadn’t seen in the first 5 books made it extremely hard to follow。 I feel like the plot just took a nose dive and none of the “resolutions” made sense… I hated how much the side characters relationships took over… this entire series has been about Brexely and Warwick but now in the last book you decide everyone n I actually am so angry with this book。 The only reason I kept reading instead of DNF was because I was already too invested in the story but this was horrible。 The multiple povs that we hadn’t seen in the first 5 books made it extremely hard to follow。 I feel like the plot just took a nose dive and none of the “resolutions” made sense… I hated how much the side characters relationships took over… this entire series has been about Brexely and Warwick but now in the last book you decide everyone needs a pov and a relationship… it was awful and there was no real closure she basically just made the ending help lead up to an apparent spin off series and I’m not here for that…。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this series as a whole。 Brexley and Warwick’s parts start to get a bit repetitive in the last two books, but the development of secondary characters made up for that。 I’m very excited to see where the author goes with Ash in the new series she is writing because baby boy has some serious healing to do。 As far as the ending of the series, I did feel like the war was built up to be this impossible feat to win and then it resolved so quickly。 It was sudden and kind of predictable。 I really enjoyed this series as a whole。 Brexley and Warwick’s parts start to get a bit repetitive in the last two books, but the development of secondary characters made up for that。 I’m very excited to see where the author goes with Ash in the new series she is writing because baby boy has some serious healing to do。 As far as the ending of the series, I did feel like the war was built up to be this impossible feat to win and then it resolved so quickly。 It was sudden and kind of predictable。 However, the plot has never been the factor that has kept me reading; it’s always been the characters and their relationships。 。。。more

3。5/5 StarsThe plot of this book was better than the last 2 books。 Finally we get to see the war come out to play。 However, I felt this book was too long, and I didn't enjoy the multiple POVS except for Warwick。 I personally didn't find the ending sad at all, maybe because it was dragged out, or maybe because the author didn't make me attached to those characters。 I don't think I will be reading the spin-off。 3。5/5 StarsThe plot of this book was better than the last 2 books。 Finally we get to see the war come out to play。 However, I felt this book was too long, and I didn't enjoy the multiple POVS except for Warwick。 I personally didn't find the ending sad at all, maybe because it was dragged out, or maybe because the author didn't make me attached to those characters。 I don't think I will be reading the spin-off。 。。。more

Characters repeating the same mistakes。 It angered me。 At some point the good guys gotta get a win。 6 books and This endless being thwarted at every turn seems like a money grab way to squeeze another book out。The Brexley team only actually started making a dent in taking out part 1 of the bad guys at 68% of the book。 Other than writing about how much fucking the other characters were doing almost nothing else happened。And as much as I love a smutty book, the author wrote a chapter about characters fucking, just to fill a chapter。 These are characters I don’t care much about and why it’s important to make them mains at the end just feels like a way to say hey! All my characters got a HEA! In another repeat Brexleys got another element to her power, because she can be human to half human to fae to necromancer to part princess part demon…。 Like the author doesn’t need to top herself every single book。 This self discovery just leads to repetition。 And the one thing this series DOES NOT NEED more of is repetition。 Even I am repeating myself in this review! The characters get built up, self confident like they can take on the world only for the author to tear them down because they make stupid decisions。 I’m swear phrases like “I felt anger at my stupidity” and “I’m my recklessness…[something bad just happened]…” does not serve your characters。 This series began with elite trained soldiers, the best of the best, and the author ruined the exact character qualities she set up, but writing them to make stupid decisions every time they find themselves in a fight。 These main characters would not be the soldiers I want called in to help me win a war and save the world。 I don’t want these soldiers to help me organize a food drive。 I also found that the chemistry between Brexley and Warwick was forced in this book。 Like the author spent so much time and so many words trying to express their love for each other that I actually stopped believing it。 I’m not sure if I ever will finish this book。 I’ve read the spoilers so I know how it ends。 Actually that probably accurate represents how I Feel about this book。 I would rather read the spoilers from fans than actually read the authors written work。 。。。more

I finally plucked up the courage to start this series after pushing it away for a while。 I honestly don’t know why I didn’t start it sooner because the book is right up my alley。 It’s everything I want in a book。 The title alone just makes me go “Woah”The Savage Lands series is truly one of the best highlights of my year so far。 I am also really glad I didn’t read it sooner because I would have seriously lost it, just waiting for the next book。 I really didn’t want this series to end。 Everyt I finally plucked up the courage to start this series after pushing it away for a while。 I honestly don’t know why I didn’t start it sooner because the book is right up my alley。 It’s everything I want in a book。 The title alone just makes me go “Woah”The Savage Lands series is truly one of the best highlights of my year so far。 I am also really glad I didn’t read it sooner because I would have seriously lost it, just waiting for the next book。 I really didn’t want this series to end。 Everything was perfect!
The Savage Lands series is chalk full of alpha males and you are going to be in bliss land just reading about them。
I will say that the first two books are less risqué when it comes to sexual activities hahaha BUT! Don’t let that deter you because my lord are the first two books a page turner。 It’s so action packed, the the angst is the type that makes you say “ it’s page burningly good!” Book 3 is where the real fun begins *wink wink*Stacey Marie Brown has given us a perfect book boyfriend。 Why? Because she has given us one of THE most possessive alpha male Hero ever! Warwick makes my knees weak。 He literally gives the true meaning of “ I hate the rest of the world except you” *BLISS*
But in all honesty, Warwick is cold hearted, a savage, ruthless and utterly deathly but with Brexley? He is all that but also one of her most staunch supporters。 The way he loves her is just the best! I love the dynamics between the two because Brexley is such a badass girl too。 She is such a hardcore badass that it honestly makes me a little jealous。 The Savage Lands series is without a doubt action packed。 It’s extremely violent, it exudes power, it’s heartbreaking at times。。it’s everything you expect in a war between humans, faes and everything in between。 I won’t deny that at times, it can feel a little repetitive but when there’s a war, sometimes the never ending, constant battle is something we have to expect because let me tell you, by the time you are done with the series, you will feel like you’ve gone to war alongside these characters。 By the end, you are exhausted, tired, but on high alert, you are also hopeful and happy? the Savage Lands series has great character development。 The storyline is passionate and the world building is detailed to perfection。 I loved the Savage Lands series by Stacey Marie Brown and I truly hope you give this series a try。 。。。more

Finally done!So I will start with I really enjoyed this series in the beginning。 The first three books had me staying on for more, but then we got to books four and five。 Needless to say I was disappointed。 The only thing that kept me reading this book was the multiple POV's。 I think this was needed for books five and six but it is was it is now。 I did enjoy seeing some new relationships, but seriously the sex scenes are literally all the same! I mean the first 85% of this book just regurgitated so much information that is not need it would have cut this book in half。 So the last 10% which to me should have been the longest part is the epic battle for the city。 This part was way too short and way to rushed。 I'm happy I ended this series but I'm not sure I would recommend after reading all six books。 。。。more

I feel satisfied, gut punched, and hungry for more。The ending was fitting for this series and left enough open for a spin-off while giving me closure for this story。 I didn’t love the multiple POVs but I’m a sucker for tying up loose ends so I pushed through to get to the characters that got their HEAs。This is my first series by Stacey and I will definitely be going back to the series that came before this one and adding her to my watchlist for future books。 Please let there be a MC that double- I feel satisfied, gut punched, and hungry for more。The ending was fitting for this series and left enough open for a spin-off while giving me closure for this story。 I didn’t love the multiple POVs but I’m a sucker for tying up loose ends so I pushed through to get to the characters that got their HEAs。This is my first series by Stacey and I will definitely be going back to the series that came before this one and adding her to my watchlist for future books。 Please let there be a MC that double-taps though! 3。5。 I absolutely was obsessed with the first two books。 But the plot became a little hard to follow with all the different rebel groups。 And the repetitive capture escape capture escape boom boom boom made the last couple of books fall flat to me。 I will always love Warwick though。

I have VERY mixed feelings about this book… I did feel like the more I read this series the more repetitive it got。 This one was a bit of a step up in that sense。 I was obviously going to finish it because I was heavily invested in the story and needed to see Istvan’s ass perish 😏。 Switching gears and adding different POV’s was a great choice in my eyes, even though that always adds some frustration… because you get whiplash from going back and forth between characters when you just want the dam I have VERY mixed feelings about this book… I did feel like the more I read this series the more repetitive it got。 This one was a bit of a step up in that sense。 I was obviously going to finish it because I was heavily invested in the story and needed to see Istvan’s ass perish 😏。 Switching gears and adding different POV’s was a great choice in my eyes, even though that always adds some frustration… because you get whiplash from going back and forth between characters when you just want the damn plot to move forward 😂。 But I personally love multiple POV’s and I do wish she had added Warwick’s sooner。 It may have been a bit overboard to have 5 different POV’s though 😬 but at the same time I loved it, especially when it came to the romance parts of the story!!I think this is the first fantasy series where I was quite literally on the edge of my seat and had 0 idea how the hell the characters were going to make it out alive。 The chances were SO LOW!! I knew what Brexley was going to bring to the table in the end… but the damn villains kept winning!!!!!!! I have no idea how they kept escaping when they were so close to being destroyed… it was so damn frustrating as a reader 😂。 While the plot wasn’t as repetitive as in other books… there were still lots of phrases that were。 Every time I read ~ T H E G R E Y ~ I couldn’t help but roll my eyes 😬 it was way overused… also, we get it Warwick has aqua eyes 🤣。 I’m not sure how long this book was… but it was waayy too long in my opinion。 It could’ve definitely been edited down。I thought it was so weird that nobody significant in the group had died in the previous book… but damn I really don’t like who she picked 💔😩 and I really thought it would be the one lone person in the group (iykyk) 😂。 Alsooo found it too perfect that everyone got mated up in the end 🧐。 I did appreciate that every character was a part of the epilogue 🫶🏼🥹!! Will I read her next series? Idk… My library only had the Libby version available, not the ebook, so having to read on my phone/laptop was a struggle! I kept getting distracted 😅 and I think it’s why it took me so long to finish it。 。。。more

I just really didn't want this series to end, but I felt the ending was rushed and there were too many things left to imagine。 I suppose I ought to keep a look out for a new series focusing on different side characters because I would love to see how the other relationships pan out。 But, as usual, the spice left me *panting* and gave me many, many ideas (hehe)。 I just really didn't want this series to end, but I felt the ending was rushed and there were too many things left to imagine。 I suppose I ought to keep a look out for a new series focusing on different side characters because I would love to see how the other relationships pan out。 But, as usual, the spice left me *panting* and gave me many, many ideas (hehe)。 。。。more
