“To the ones whose type is an unapologetic villain。”“Don’t romanticize me or you’ll be eaten alive。”“A little bit of violence。 A little but if mayhem。 A little bit of anarchy。”“Not all girls like the hero。 I was fated to fall in love with the villain。”Rina’s second generation is here！ Although this book can be read as a standalone， there are PLENTY of familiar faces from her past stories （which I highly recommend reading beforehand to get the full effect！） I’ve been waiting （not so） patiently fo “To the ones whose type is an unapologetic villain。”“Don’t romanticize me or you’ll be eaten alive。”“A little bit of violence。 A little but if mayhem。 A little bit of anarchy。”“Not all girls like the hero。 I was fated to fall in love with the villain。”Rina’s second generation is here！ Although this book can be read as a standalone， there are PLENTY of familiar faces from her past stories （which I highly recommend reading beforehand to get the full effect！） I’ve been waiting （not so） patiently for this series ever since it had been announced but boy oh boy did it blow each and every expectation out of the water！ Killian， Glyndon and their story are like a mixture of everything we’ve seen before taken to the next notch， resulting in a story shrouded in darkness， dripping in violence， and overflowing with lustful love。 Killian is not to be taken lightly， notoriously being shut off from his emotions and the rest of humanity， but he may have just met his match in the form of a quiet， repressive strawberry blonde。 Although she may seem like an easy target， King’s never go down without a fight。 Their story starts on the edge of a cliff and slowly eases you through the many feelings including acceptance， necessity， and of course， desire。 Rina did a great job including characters from her past books and remaining consistent with who they were then。 But she does an even better job introducing the new crew， the second generation of our previous favorite couples。 Each kid is uniquely there own but also deliberately showcases appearances or personality traits linking them to their beloved parents。 I’m already in love with each and every one and I can’t wait to see this group and their series grow。 。。。more

This book is an addictive， dark and twisted read。 I loved everything about it。 The characters are fantastic and the writing is excellent。 This series is going to be amazing！ I can’t wait to read about all the other stories coming up。 I didn’t think it could happen but I think the heirs are going to blow the Royal Elite series away。 This is the best book from this author and I loved it。

Another 5+ star read！Make sure to read TW before reading this book， it is a DARK romance！This was the first book I have ever read by Rina Kent， and it definitely will not be my last。 I cannot get enough of this book and did not want it to end！ I will admit， at first it took me a little bit to get into。 I think this was because there were so many characters being introduced that I was getting a little lost （partly my fault since I haven't read any of the parents books so these were all new names Another 5+ star read！Make sure to read TW before reading this book， it is a DARK romance！This was the first book I have ever read by Rina Kent， and it definitely will not be my last。 I cannot get enough of this book and did not want it to end！ I will admit， at first it took me a little bit to get into。 I think this was because there were so many characters being introduced that I was getting a little lost （partly my fault since I haven't read any of the parents books so these were all new names to me。） However， after a few chapters I was completely enthralled with the story of Kill and Glyn。 Kill is a true psychopath。 He is dark， angry， conniving， manipulative， possessive， but most of all misunderstood。 Glyn is his exact opposite; depressed， feels too much， caring， and holds her emotions in so as not to be a burden to others。 While they seem like an unlikely pair， their chemistry is EXPLOSIVE。 When these two do get together it is H-O-T and will have you wanting to read those scenes over and over again。 The way Kill is with Glyn may not be the "knight in shining armor" type but it will still have you swooning。 He has quickly jumped to the one of my top book boyfriend spots。Not only were the characters in this book amazing but the storyline will have you going until the very end as well！ Just when you think you have figured out what's going on， Rina throws you for a loop。 I can honestly say I was shocked by the the twist of this book and it made it 100% better。 This book is easily one of my favorites this year and will be one I am buying the paperback form of！ I am so thankful I got to ARC read this book and I am going to be counting down the days for the rest of the Legacy of Gods books to come out。 GO READ THIS BOOK ASAP！！！ 。。。more

The books that started my Rina Kent obsession was the Kingdom duet staring both Jonathan and Aurora。 Now here I am reading about their grandchildren。 I remember very vividly， at the time， that this duet was one of the darkest books I have ever read。 I have since read more darker， more disturbing books。 But Kent did not disappoint in giving us such dark and unique characters in this one。 I was once again questioning my morals as to how I could love such a morally gray character with such evil ten The books that started my Rina Kent obsession was the Kingdom duet staring both Jonathan and Aurora。 Now here I am reading about their grandchildren。 I remember very vividly， at the time， that this duet was one of the darkest books I have ever read。 I have since read more darker， more disturbing books。 But Kent did not disappoint in giving us such dark and unique characters in this one。 I was once again questioning my morals as to how I could love such a morally gray character with such evil tendencies。 But quickly thought “what the heck， why start now”。 Especially with all the dark books I have read over the last year or so。 I am going to lay out a bit of honesty for a second。 I haven’t read some of these kids parent’s stories yet。 I am like a mad woman when it comes to Kent’s back log of books。 I jump around and even skip some。 But it was fun reconnecting to some past characters I have read before。 Seeing them as older adults。 With kids。 And grand kids even。 But guys， I was quickly addicted to all things Killian。 Dude is disturbing but oh so mouthwatering。 I wanted to delve deep inside his horrifying and alarming mind with such a need to understand him。 I loved how he was instantly enamored with Glyndon from the start and how she so vehemently denied her growing， complicated feelings for Killian。 These two were the best kind of train wreck。 GOD OF MALICE was absolutely everything I could ever want in such a brutal and dark romance。 The way it tore my heart around and conjured up thoughts no book has any business doing。 But man， was I ok with it all。 Now I need that next book as soon as possible。 5 Stars。 。。。more

"You wanted the nice guy; too bad you got the fucking villain。"Killian Carson is a villain， a true psychopath if you will。 If your looking for a morally grey character that redeems himself keep looking。 Killian is all black including his soul and his heart。 There is something off with him。 Something that he has been working on suppressing for years。 Killian is a predator first and you get to witness him falling chase to his most precious prey yet， his little rabbit， Glyndon。 "A monster can't be "You wanted the nice guy; too bad you got the fucking villain。"Killian Carson is a villain， a true psychopath if you will。 If your looking for a morally grey character that redeems himself keep looking。 Killian is all black including his soul and his heart。 There is something off with him。 Something that he has been working on suppressing for years。 Killian is a predator first and you get to witness him falling chase to his most precious prey yet， his little rabbit， Glyndon。 "A monster can't be changed or derailed。 A monster's only aim is to destroy。"Glyndon King is a good girl。 The only daughter in her family。 Glyndon's family is protective of their "little princess"。 She is an artist and very unsociable。 I loved watching Glyn come into her own。 She grew so much and I loved watching her own her feelings and emotions。 After a life altering encounter Glyndon hopes she never sees Killian again。 These hopes are quickly dashed when she realizes that they go to rival colleges。 Oh and I forgot to mention Kill is over the top obsessed with Glyndon。 This is more than your average jealous possessive anti hero。 "If you run， I'll chase you。" "And if I chase you， I'll catch you。"I've always loved the villain so I hoped I would love Killian。 He definitely started the book as an asshole。 But not much later I was questioning how I could like him as much as I did。 I guess I am a sucker for that bad ones after all。 🖤There is a twist in the story I wasn't expecting。 The dual POV is done perfectly。 And I loved that you get epilogues from both characters。 The spice in this book starts early and never sizzles out。 Kill loves giving necklaces。 IYKYK。 This a dark book and it is full of some heavy triggers。 I won't go into those here because I love going in blind。 But if you have any do your research before starting。 This is the first book of the Legacy of Gods series so there is a ton of world building。 But I feel like this is needed to really get a feel for the story。 Rina Kent succeeded in making me want more。 As soon as I finished I ran to find out when the next book in the series is coming out。 God of Pain is next and I'm excited to see which couple it's about。 。。。more

First I want to start by saying that this book made me so happy。 After finishing Royal Elite and being so sad to leave them behind， it was so heartwarming to have a majority of them （and Rina’s other character’s children） present in this book。 I did have to whip out the family tree multiple times before I finally got a hang of who was who 😂This book follows Glyndon （Levi and Astrid’s only daughter - Cruel King） and Killian （Asher and Reina’s son - Lies and Truths duet）。 They both attend rival sc First I want to start by saying that this book made me so happy。 After finishing Royal Elite and being so sad to leave them behind， it was so heartwarming to have a majority of them （and Rina’s other character’s children） present in this book。 I did have to whip out the family tree multiple times before I finally got a hang of who was who 😂This book follows Glyndon （Levi and Astrid’s only daughter - Cruel King） and Killian （Asher and Reina’s son - Lies and Truths duet）。 They both attend rival schools on Brighton Island。 Glyndon is struggling with life after feeling incompetent and the loss of a friend and finds herself in a precarious situation in which Killian comes to her rescue， or does he？ 🤔 Is Glyndon now trapped in the clutches of a monster who will stop at nothing to have her？ Gosh， I have so many things to say about this story！ The rest of this review will probably be rambling， so buckle up。 One， we get a couple surprise POV’s during this story， I loveddd this 😏 Two， Glyndon and Killian’s relationship together felt so unlikely， considering she is the little princess of the King family， and Killian is a truly unhinged psychooopath， but it worked SO well。 I really enjoyed seeing Killian be open and honest with Glyndon about his tendencies， and Glyndon while still unsure always listened to him， and saw him for who he was。 Glyndon shedding her insecurities just made my heart so full。 Both of their character developments were outstanding。 Their relationship progression was incredibly well done， as is standard for Rina。 Okay also， Jonathan is a grandDADDY， wooooo the way he was w Glyndon was just 🥹 All the RE kids together and being friends， GAH， those interactions brought a smile to my face each and every time。 It was so fun to see their similarities compared to their parents。 The little snippets here and there alluding to other future story lines got me so excited for these next books， I was already researching to see if there was any info on release dates。 Bottom line: You absolutely need to read this book。 。。。more
