A decent， believable rendition of the enemies-to-lovers trope （none of that The Spanish Love Deception bs where the girl was just too blind to see that he was already in love with her）。 This felt like a true rivals-to-lovers arc， and I loved the process of them getting to know each other better & falling in the meantime。 And the premise of this entire book？ I loved the radio & podcast focus， and this concept of exes cohosting radio is one of the coolest I've ever heard。I also absolutely loved th A decent， believable rendition of the enemies-to-lovers trope （none of that The Spanish Love Deception bs where the girl was just too blind to see that he was already in love with her）。 This felt like a true rivals-to-lovers arc， and I loved the process of them getting to know each other better & falling in the meantime。 And the premise of this entire book？ I loved the radio & podcast focus， and this concept of exes cohosting radio is one of the coolest I've ever heard。I also absolutely loved the diverse cast of characters that made diversity feel normal & representative， rather than forced。。。unlike the conflict portion of this novel， which I did feel was forced。 Nevertheless， I appreciate how Shay （our female ML） was independent and strong throughout， especially in the way she dealt with everything。 Give me more Solomon romance！！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 So i finished this book last night and i loved it until the end。 They tried to resolve Dominic and Shay’s breakup in a single chapter and it felt so rushed。 Other than that the book was great， loved the forced proximity and the way they can be open with each other。 The author also covered to topic of workplace discrimination and sexism really well so props to them。 Overall good book but could’ve improved in some aspects。
