I'm just waiting for Buckingham to meet his end, haha。 Effff youuuu。Catesby is still the bestest of persons and he deserves a different ending than his real life counterpart。And Kanno, you caaaan't give me only a few of pages of Tyrrell! So good and so dangerous for my heart。 I'm just waiting for Buckingham to meet his end, haha。 Effff youuuu。Catesby is still the bestest of persons and he deserves a different ending than his real life counterpart。And Kanno, you caaaan't give me only a few of pages of Tyrrell! So good and so dangerous for my heart。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I find that, unlike some other choices made by Aya Kanno, I'm perfectly happy to accept the idea that Henry Tudor (later Henry VII) who killed the Princes in the Tower。 That they were poisoned also seems to work with James Tyrell's account of the princes possibly having been smothered, and by having two other assassins sent to kill them, Kanno is sticking to Tyrell's account to a degree。 In any event, the fat is in the fire now, and it won't take long for things to start to truly burn。。。 I find that, unlike some other choices made by Aya Kanno, I'm perfectly happy to accept the idea that Henry Tudor (later Henry VII) who killed the Princes in the Tower。 That they were poisoned also seems to work with James Tyrell's account of the princes possibly having been smothered, and by having two other assassins sent to kill them, Kanno is sticking to Tyrell's account to a degree。 In any event, the fat is in the fire now, and it won't take long for things to start to truly burn。。。 。。。more

Ricardo III seduciendo a su hermano para ayudarlo a escapar (?), Enrique VI y Ricardo III ??? de Buckingham no diré nada por que se ah hecho en otras novelas y lo que a mi concierne es una posibilidad que voy a considerar por su relacion extraña y la forma en que rompieron, pero si esto esta lleno de momentos locos e incomodos si buscas historia pero una vez, aceptas el arte de los dibujos, y ves esto como lo que es una versión al estilo japonés, resulta entretenido además respeta la cronología y eh leído cosas peores en libros de historia, para ser una adaptación de las obras de Shakespeare noto mas investigación de fondo aquí y un deseo de querer balancear las cosas , si Ricardo III es malvado pero tiene sus motivos y todos actúan de forma malvada en momentos así que no es del todo una mala versión de los hechos。English :A manga about Richard III。VERY VERY weird but ENTERTAININGCurrently I have finished this volume and I decided to do just a review for all the previous ones, while the following volumes are published, first I will say that it was very difficult to decide how many stars I would give but in the end I have simply chosen what I think is fair based on entertainment and quality of the drawing。SPOILERSHere we have the events that took place in "the war of the two roses" until 1484, at least the version that William Shakespeare wrote more than 100 years after the events, although to my surprise I can say that the story told here has much more consistency, more complexity and is more balanced, Richard the Duke of Gloucester (Richard III) is the protagonist, he had a difficult childhood to say the least, his mother is mean to him for considering him a demon child he sees himself that way, for so many years of abuse and because his body is deformed and it is NOT because of the hump, he is actually quite attractive, although with a body that is half female half male, which causes all kinds of confusion in him and mixed emotions, he also has bad dreams and ghosts who harass him, but fortunately he has his father's love, although he is killed, and Richard embarks on a journey of revenge and political conspiracies, first to save his house, York and then following his ambition, in the process by chance he meets and falls in love with the King of England, Henry VI, who belongs to the Lancaster house, enemies of the Yorks (although Richard does not know who he is), the two develop an idyllic connection that is more platonic than passionate, always with romantic dates in the forest, later also by chance Richard III meets Edward of Lancaster the son of Henry VI, who also falls in love with Richard III, although Richard III does not reciprocate those feelings, on the other hand Richard grows up with his cousin Anne Neville, with who develops a friendship, they ride together, play and talk, Ana falls in love with him, and Richard for his part considers her a different woman, he does not feel the same ardor that he feels for Henry VI, but Anne gives him peace and makes him happy, That's why he thinks of her as the only person who can save him, who makes him be good and a better person, but unfortunately Anne's father wants to use her to bring Richard to his side in the political game, Anne refuses to seduce him and refuses to marry him because she knows the hidden intentions, Richard listens to her refuse and since he does not understand why she does it, he is convinced that Anne feels repulsion for him like everyone else (damn confusions) so he decides to get away from her physically and emotionally。 Political events progress, the Lancasters and the Yorks fight over and over again, Richard's brother Edward is crowned King, but falls in love with a commoner who is evil and a witch, Anne Neville marries Edward of Lancaster, here I will take a time to recognize that in this version, unlike the many novels I have read, that marriage is well nuanced, they do not love each other and they never will but they agree to be friends, play chess together, had conversations, yes they have to sleep together because the evil mother of Edward, Margaret of Anjou who forces them, by the way she is an abuser and ambitious, but going back to Anne and Edward of Lancaster, they appreciate and respect each other although they both love Richard, she even tries to protect him from battle but is unsuccessful, Richard III ends up murdering Henry VI and Edward of Lancaster at the time that his soul darkens and he becomes a cold and ambitious being, although he is not the only one, Edward IV his brother becomes a drunk womanizer and lazy, George, Richard's other brother becomes a drunk and useful, here I will recognize another thing in this story George and his wife Isabel have a realistic relationship, she is ambitious and seductive, he is a manageable pet, but they love each other and endure political setbacks together。 After the Lancaster house is "apparently destroyed" Richard marries Anne Neville, because his brother King Edward advises him, at that point Richard does not feel anything for her but lies to her telling her that he loves her and that he did everything for her, better say for the love he feels for her (in the style of Shakespeare) obviously this Anne Neville who is sweet and gentle but NOT stupid, knows that he lies to her but she still gets married because she is pregnant with Edward of Lancaster, we have a time jump。 Richard and Anne have raised Edward's son as their own, although it is very obvious from his physique whose son he is, and Richard and Anne are not even friends they barely speak to each other, she believes that he rejects her for having married pregnant , and accepts living unhappy as a punishment that she thinks she deserves, but he is rather tormented by past events, deaths and everything, besides he doesn't think he deserves a woman with that "demon" body, Richard is not a loving father but he is decent dealing with his son that is a bit weak in spirit, an interesting thing is that Anne adopted her nephews ( George and Isabel's daughter and son ) and Margaret pole ( the girl ) is very interesting when Richard says I'm sorry about your parent's death but everyone will die, she thinks yes and you too, so she is kind of dark and vindictive, any way Richard caused George death and now focuses on conspiring to gain power, although incidentally he becomes romantically and sexually involved with Henry Stanford Duke of Buckingham (Finally a gay relationship that I have read before) Henry has ambitious plans, he manipulates Richard and the situations a bit so that at the death of Edward IV, Richard is crowned King although he has two nephews who are locked up in the tower and killed。I stay there because the published volumes go that far, but I know perfectly where the story goes, and how it ends :(I personally came here because I like the history of King Richard III, and it is my hobby to read everything that is written about him, but this was too strange, some scenes are too graphic or explicit for my liking, Margaret of Anjou abusing Henry VI, seriously? Richard III seducing his brother to help him escape (?), Henry VI and Richard III ??? I will not say anything about Buckingham because it has been done in other novels and what concerns me is a possibility that I will consider because of their strange relationship and the way they broke up, but if this is full of crazy and uncomfortable moments if you are looking for history but once you accept the art of drawings, and you see this as a Japanese-style version, it's entertaining, it also respects the chronology and I've read worse things in history books, to be an adaptation of Shakespeare's works, I notice more background research here and a desire to want to balance things out, yes Richard III is evil but he has his motives and everyone acts evil at times so it's not entirely a bad version of events jus a weird one。 。。。more

Through it all, Catesby remains loyal and Anne perseveres。Because this is a take on Shakespeare's rather interesting interpretation of the English royals, Kanno can have fun with the history here quite a bit。 Although the series started before Richard III's body was found and more facts emerged about his life, there is still a lot to enjoy in this almost 'alternate history' full of beautiful people, madness, and supernatural elements。This is the last third of Richard's life at this point, with the first big rebellion about to start (the second rebellion by Henry Tudor would end Richard's life and reign)。 Those who know the plays/history will find the scenes with Richard's son the most interesting at this point。 But Kanno does a good job of interpreting how the Princes in the tower died - why and by whom。 She's done a great job of filling in the blanks thus far while giving us an entertaining read。The next volume will likely cover the big battle with Buckingham (and reveal the fate of Richard's son)。 Through it all, pity poor Anne, Richard's wife。 Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher。 。。。more
