Yamato’s heart is pounding。 Kakeru’s heart is pounding。 MY HEART IS POUNDING。 Now, the best thing about having to wait for months for the next volume, is that I can reread these 4 volumes again and again。 and again。 and again。

This is becoming one of my favorite manga series; I'm so excited to continue with this painfully slow burn romance。 This is becoming one of my favorite manga series; I'm so excited to continue with this painfully slow burn romance。 。。。more

As a fan of slowburn romance I am loving this series。 The art continues to be gorgeous and I really love these characters。

I love this series so much, wow。 All the sweetness is going to be the death of me。 This manga needs to become an anime, or even better, a LA。 Everything that Yamato does is so sweet。 I love him so much。 Can't wait to read vol 5! Series continues to be very good but this was my least favourite volume because I didn't like that Kakeru spent more time drawn with extreme reaction faces than regularly。 I get that he was very confused and kinda panicking and all that but a whole volume of it was a bit too much。I wasn't super keen on Yamato forgetting the kiss initially but fortunately it was resolved quickly so it didn't bother me much actually。I liked a lot how Yamato was reflecting on his feelings, the situation with Kakeru Series continues to be very good but this was my least favourite volume because I didn't like that Kakeru spent more time drawn with extreme reaction faces than regularly。 I get that he was very confused and kinda panicking and all that but a whole volume of it was a bit too much。I wasn't super keen on Yamato forgetting the kiss initially but fortunately it was resolved quickly so it didn't bother me much actually。I liked a lot how Yamato was reflecting on his feelings, the situation with Kakeru etc。The side characters are a fun bunch even though they generally get very little panel time。 。。。more

3。5 stars。。。as with all of this series, there are parts I like a lot and parts that drag out too much, so the rating tends to wobble a little。First of all, what was the point in having Yamato forget that he confessed to and kissed Kakeru? It's kind of a lazy plot device to drag out a story and create more drama - in this case, Kakeru getting super mad at Yamato and breaking off their friendship (temporarily obviously) because it's so upsetting that Yamato doesn't even remember something that dra 3。5 stars。。。as with all of this series, there are parts I like a lot and parts that drag out too much, so the rating tends to wobble a little。First of all, what was the point in having Yamato forget that he confessed to and kissed Kakeru? It's kind of a lazy plot device to drag out a story and create more drama - in this case, Kakeru getting super mad at Yamato and breaking off their friendship (temporarily obviously) because it's so upsetting that Yamato doesn't even remember something that dramatic。Ultimately it's third parties who pull them back together - Hosaka tells Yamato about the kiss, and Hosaka's sister tells Kakeru that her brother likes him。 It's not that these scenes are bad, exactly - and I loved seeing more of Hosaka, even though he seems to be crushing on Yamato's sister now instead of his longsuffering best friend?? disappointing - but there were less nonsensical ways to move the plot along。I loveloved the bits from Yamato's point of view。 Those are the strongest parts of this series, and I honestly wish we saw more of the story through his eyes instead of Kakeru's。 Sometimes Kakeru is a bit too high-strung; while his over-the-top reactions are funny at times, they can also start to wear on me after a while。 He needs a bit more balance as a character。 Yamato just seems to have a lot more depth。 I liked that Yamato was putting immense amounts of effort into being more open and honest and considering the impact of his feelings on Kakeru; he's trying so, so hard to understand and respect boundaries but still spend time with his best friend。 He's such a good guy and a well-written character。 I still。。。sorta feel like maybe Kakeru doesn't deserve him, romantically。 He needs to start putting in more effort on his end, in order to make the inevitable mutual romance satisfying。I did like, though, that Kakeru was honest about his feelings at this point; he's not going to rush into anything and say he likes Yamato back when he doesn't know what he's feeling。 But he's not shutting anything down; he just needs time。 I do appreciate that this series gives the characters that time to grow into their feelings。 Still, it was a little frustrating that after that really good conversation on the rooftop, Kakeru continued to spend most of his time freaking out around Yamato and avoiding him。 It's no wonder that Yamato got the impression that he was scaring his straight friend。 It's pretty heartwrenching and makes things kinda feel too much like a one-sided, gay/straight crush。 We'll see how it goes from here, though。。。I just want Kakeru to step up and show some personal growth。And I also want to see more of Hosaka and Amamiya。 They're so funny and have such a refreshing dynamic。 。。。more

Ah there's so much miscommunication between these two and Kakeru is so in his head about everything he's freaking himself out。 They talked more in this volume and I can't wait to see them grow closer in the next one。 Kakeru is just extremely unsure about his feelings and he probably doesn't know if he actually wants to reciprocate Yamato's feelings or if he's feeling some attraction to Yamato just because he knows he likes him? I just want to shake the both of them。 This volume was a little frus Ah there's so much miscommunication between these two and Kakeru is so in his head about everything he's freaking himself out。 They talked more in this volume and I can't wait to see them grow closer in the next one。 Kakeru is just extremely unsure about his feelings and he probably doesn't know if he actually wants to reciprocate Yamato's feelings or if he's feeling some attraction to Yamato just because he knows he likes him? I have the same problem with this volume that I've had with the last two。 It feels like there has been very little progress from volume one。 While I don't mind a slow burn, this series is lacking some serious tension between the characters that I think make slow burns enjoyable。 The characters are still cute though and I do like the tropes in this romance so I will continue to read when the english translated volume 5 comes out I have the same problem with this volume that I've had with the last two。 It feels like there has been very little progress from volume one。 While I don't mind a slow burn, this series is lacking some serious tension between the characters that I think make slow burns enjoyable。 The characters are still cute though and I do like the tropes in this romance so I will continue to read when the english translated volume 5 comes out 。。。more

My favorite。 I loved this volume。

This series is so damn cute。 I can’t believe Yamato had the gall to forget confessing that he liked Kakeru and even kissing him! Kakeru had every right to be pissed。 But, fret not, communication happens all throughout this volume and it is glorious to see。 Yamato has turned over a new leaf and has decided to be more open and honest about his feelings and Kakeru is going along for the ride because he doesn’t yet know how he feels。 This was fabulous, and the next volume couldn’t come any faster。Al This series is so damn cute。 I can’t believe Yamato had the gall to forget confessing that he liked Kakeru and even kissing him! Esto es tan lindo y dulce, que ya no puedo mas。 Yamato por fin se enfrenta a sus sentimiento y Kakeru debe afrontarlos para no perder su amistad。 Es una hermosa historia, tan tierna。
