Ferocious; yet gentle and compassionate。 Beautiful。 Dramatic。 Dynamic。 Insightful。 Tarot of Dragons is great for beginners as well as more experienced tarot collectors as it explains the origins of tarot, how to shuffle and spread and utilize the cards, and it includes interesting dragon lore (dragons are at the heart of this collection)。 Kudos to artist Firat Solhan for the incredible artwork in this collection – nothing short of awe-inspiring。 MacKenzie’s descriptions and stories are wonderous Ferocious; yet gentle and compassionate。 Beautiful。 Dramatic。 Dynamic。 Insightful。 Tarot of Dragons is great for beginners as well as more experienced tarot collectors as it explains the origins of tarot, how to shuffle and spread and utilize the cards, and it includes interesting dragon lore (dragons are at the heart of this collection)。 Kudos to artist Firat Solhan for the incredible artwork in this collection – nothing short of awe-inspiring。 MacKenzie’s descriptions and stories are wonderous, and Solhan’s art complements MacKenzie’s descriptions, vision, and words - the two a seamless, symbiotic collaboration of writing and images。 As in her other books, MacKenzie’s occasional subtle humor appears here as well。 I have read all her books, and they are wonderfully researched and presented。 As delightful and accomplished as those earlier works are, this Tarot of Dragons is an even bigger achievement。 Well done。 。。。more

Upon opening the box, you'll be greeted by a full-size illustration。 Pull the ribbon to release your deck, and the Dragon eye from The World card will cast its gaze upon you。 The guidebook also features a full-color guidebook with full-page illustrations!Though the cards and guidebook use traditional Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) meanings, I don't necessarily recommend this deck for beginners if you're looking for in-depth guides on each card and for Reading methods。 But don't let that stop you if you feel a Pull to Work with this deck -- I always tell my friends and students to go with the tried-and-true 78 Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack and Tarot For Your Self by Mary K。 Greer。 Most Tarot books and sites nowadays are just rehashes of these and Book T by MacGregor Mathers (the original Golden Dawn Tarot manual that taught Arthur Waite and Aleister Crowley, available for free online, just note that Kings were originally Knights and Knights were originally Kings, Waite reversed the titles)。 。。。more
